If you mean abduction by stranger than no I don’t believe it was.
If however, you mean a staged abduction by people the Mcs know? Then yes. For some reason I do not fully understand yet - then again yes I think parents are complicit. They arranged for an abduction for a reason I cannot fathom (I actually have one idea which Pat actually mentioned the other day too but have not yet posted this theory here) and she has not been abducted as much as been sent away on a little holiday to be miraculously found when the time it right.

Criminal profiler Pat Brown is on the TV here right now. She’s discussing the Drew Peterson interview yesterday on CBS. We need her to analyse the McCann interviews on public TV. She is ruthless.
I actually thought Peterson looked quite credible in his interview. Not much of the blinking eyes etc. but over here people are crucifying him. If the McCanns were American, they’d already be in jail judging from the Peterson situation.

I think not.
So I do not think any threat to change his pro-nuclear view would mean anything. They could just find someone else. But I think the fact that he got this cushy job (how much does it pay, I wonder) that just involves saying, what, that nuclear power does not cause heart attacks?… just the fact that he got this job shows that someone in power is propping him up. I think Gerry might be privvy to a little more than information on nuclear safety. By his own admission, he and Team McCann seem to know a lot about pedophilia networks. He probably knows some nasty stuff about the pharmaceutical industry too. Think sedatives.

They could be under orders from above. I think it might have to do with who purchases advertising space from them. Certainly Branson does? Rowling’s publisher? Brian Kennedy’s company? Astra Zeneca - John McCann’s employer? Bell Pottinger, MW’s PR agency? And maybe even Mark Warner Resorts?

Two reports in The Observer revealed that Peter Luff MP, in addition to being chairman of the Commons Agriculture Select Committee, was also in the pay of Bell Pottinger. According to the Observer, he had not made this apparent to his fellow committee members even when they were working on a report on GM (Monsanto’s lobby firm pays key MP; Resign call over MP’s link with GM food firm ).
There was also concern over another Bell Pottinger employee, Stuart Bell MP, in his role as the government’s representative on the Church Commissioners at a time that they were discussing the use of Church of England land for GM crop trials. (Church MP in GM row, Daily Express, 8 August 1999)
Bell Pottinger is part of Chime Communications. Its chairman Lord Tim Bell was a PR advisor to Margaret Thatcher. Bell was knighted by Thatcher and given a peerage by Blair. His clients have included Chile’s General Pinochet, South Africa’s National Party, and Milosevic-led Yugoslavia.

The reference to not only Madeleine being ‘raped’ but ‘anally raped’ suggests there are a few of you in here who are definitely getting off on the idea there was sexual abuse going on.

I find your comments intriguing but they are conspicuous in their silence. With all due respect, anyone can post cryptic messages without offering any solid evidence and claim to know what has happened but not divulge this info. Then when information is forthcoming say: I told you so.
Judith C and several others have voiced their opinion about a cover up long before you ever commented on Anorak. Or at least I never noticed you name when reading messages in July/Aug.
Anyway, you are not the progenitor of the cover up theory. Sorry but you are not. And if you seriously do have insider information then it would be wise to offer it to a reputable news source like the New York Times or Washington Post to get it out into the public from an unbiased media organisation.

Now IF for some reason one finds credible the McCann story that they suddenly put together a “monitoring regimen” the night Madeleine disappeared, and that Gerry WAS in the apartment with the pedophile/abductor, it might have been that the pedophile had taken Madeleine into the parents’ bedroom and was anally raping her just as Gerry stood wondering whether Madeleine had gone to do a tinkle or get a glass of water. Without bothering to visually check his daughter, 39 year-old doctor Gerry remembers that he has an obligation to hurry back to his Tapas bar drinking. The rapist, relieved, continues.
Of course if you DON’T believe the McCanns’ ludicrous inventions, the pedophile/abductor is then NOT surprised by anyone, and rapes Madeleine without being molested by Gerry’s presence. Quite possibly after finishing with her, and, knowing that the McCanns will not be home for a long while, he sits down for a beer to recuperate, before having his way with one of the twins. Suddenly, during this exertion, he hears a sound and discovers that Madeleine had awakened, and in a daze fell down the concrete steps bashing in her skull. He is not interested in having sex with a corpse, but he knows someone like that, so he figures he might as well take the dead girl with him.
Does this sound too disgusting to be possible? Then perhaps it can approximate for you the level of disgust many people feel for the McCanns! These monsters left their toddlers alone, and can have no idea what horrible things may have happened in the apartment that night, or every night. Or perhaps they did have some idea?

WhiteGhost - greetings - resist not your instinct - you know that the Third Way is the Only Way - you just don’t know you know yet.
Let me explain this to you very carefully:
The Third Way does not believe the PJs are inept cunts or that the McCanns have killed their daughter. Indeed the PJs know what happened to madeleine and that a body will never be found. The McCanns know what happened that night, and they know the police also know. The Tapas know what happened and suspect that the police also knows. But nobody breaks a pact of silence… and why?
Because higher interests are at stake and revealing what truly happened last night will not bring Madeleine back. Indeed in revealing what truly happened on the 3rd of May the McCanns or their friends would be obliged to disclose the unconventional nature of the relationship that unites them and others (that have so far remained in the shadows).
The truth is dark and sinister. But the truth will be revealed.
Believe the Third Way- because it’s the only way.
