Headline Writers Celebrate England Defeat

ENGLAND have lost to Croatia on a wet night in Wembley. The fans will not be getting themselves acquainted with plastic chairs, inflatable Lancaster bombers and banking at next summer’s European Championship in Switzerland and Austria.

But it’s not all doom and gloom. Steve McClaren is surely on his way out. David Beckham can stop trying to run. And the headline writers are having some fun:
