Says Sixsmith: “It was a blonde woman, 35 to 40 years old, English-speaking. She had a pamphlet and I knew straight away that she was a Jehovah’s Witness. She asked if she could come into the apartment to talk about her faith. I took the pamphlet from her and closed the door. I now think it may have been Murat and his girlfriend”

I get the impression he doesnt like them commenting, Kates mum has thrown several spanners in the spin works.
She is the only one to have admitted that the Kate and Gerry ‘made a mistake’ and cast suspicion over the need for a priest on the night of 3rd May. I have an increasing respect for this woman. She is the only honest one in the whole sorry charade. I detect ‘estrangement’ between the the Mother and Daughter.

Who knows what will happen?
We could put the initial political support for the McCanns- as opposed to Murat- down to Blair’s dislike of people with dodgy eyes; it makes about as much sense as anything else does…

499 Peter - I always suspected Gerry didnt know anything was wrong until that fateful moment he was made suspect - the first time I’d seen him shocked. The only time he seemed genuinly upset was wehn he spoke after landing back in the UK.
He only ever confirmed himself as genetic parent of Maddie.
He seems naive and almost simple sometimes - he said he thought the twins might have been sedated, but seemed totally relaxed about the idea that a stranger might have sedated his kids - he is a Doctor, he should ahve been bloody terrified at that, dirty needles, incorrect dosage, damaging substances. As I said, he seems lmost simple.
Kate seems manipoulative - hard and cold, not because she doesnt cry on camera, theres something else there - though it might be the hard scouse bitches I have known!!

In my view the law has failed to deal with abuse of children and it continues to fail the children, especially in the many countries who refuse to sign up fully to the UN Childrens Charter - one of which is, you guessed it, the UK. I dont thnk you full read my post.
I disagree with you regarding laws, they are currently ambiguous enough for a pair of people who really should have known better took a totally unaccpetable risk - and the risk was realised into a parents worse nightmare. I explained my reasoning.
Heres a bit of information which supports the effectiveness of the guidance of the law. Slapping is lawful in the UK (boundaries of ‘reasonable chastisement). There are hundreds of child deaths in the UK caused by over zealous chastisement of children, often accidental.
Sweden was the same, until they totally banned slapping as a form of discipline in the home. In the year they imposed the ban, there was one death resulting from accidental over chastisement.
I assumed (as I said in my post) that children shouldnt be left alone, but I applied common sense. I took the ages to be 14, alone and 16 for a babysitter of children under 14. The McCanns assumed it was 4. My children reached their teens. The McCanns look increasingly unlikely to state the same.
Anyway, did they really leave these little ones alone in the apartement where they might have drank the dettol or fallen on their heads from the beds or cots, or got out the door? Or fallen trying to recover cuddle cat?
The movements of O’Brien and Tanner on 3rd of May are ‘odd’. O’Brien called Tanner back after she had been in the Tapas bar for 15 minutes or so, how did he do this? Using a mobileto Tanner or a friend in the Bar? Apaprently not. He ‘asked a friend to fetch her. Who is the friend and why did he use that method? How did he contact the friend?
The truth will out, I feel it in my bones!

Your question about GM declaring his and Mrs. M’s innocence: he actually said “I believe 100% in Kate’s innocence, and she believes 100% in mine”. I think he might have said this on returning to the UK from Portugal, and I have the video of that, but I’m too tired to look at it now. As for the point you make about it being odd that he had to declare each other’s innocence separately, so to speak, this is something I’ve remarked on a few times - I think yesterday was the last time. I also came to the conclusion that their obtuse remarks - but Mr. M’s particularly - are omissions wrapped round the truth. They try to stick as close to the truth as possible because this makes for the best falsehood.
So, when he makes the remark about the 100% innocence of both of them what does he really mean? I think he really means that they’ve drawn a fine line between actuality and personal liability. In other words, they are ‘lOO% innocent’ of actually physically hurting/killing/disposing of the body of their little girl….but (unsaid) not innocent of allowing the circumstances to occur in which these things became necessary - imo.

it is amazing that Baby Grace was found, DNA taken, and the child id’d within days of finding her. Why has this not happened with Maddy?
As far as Murat…and his girlfriend…if they were either hired or used by anyone to help with the cover up, and the tables are now being turned on them to perhaps, “Frame” them…then why don’t they tell what they Know?
If in fact they are guilty of anything, they might get immunity or something.
There was indeed, it seems, something going on, something wild and unusual at least…
and a cover up ensued. Only one person has to stop lying and tell the truth. Only one that does the right thing, because it is the Right THING to do…tell the truth. is that so hard?
Please, someone, come forward and tell what happened, so that we can all put Maddy to rest.
