Actually heather is right, dairy products are unnecessary, cruel to animals and are bad for your health causing mucus among other complaints. Even yogic’s are a bit slow on this one.
************************************************************************

No...disagree, dairy products highly necessary for calcium and protein amongst other things, don't need to be high fat content so skimmed and semi-skimmed is fine, and some of the fats are necessary too - and I forgot butter in my list. I have yet to find where it is "cruel to animals" to milk them...!! surely this is what their offspring do ??? or are they being cruel too ...sucking away like that ?? Mucus is only caused if your intake is too high and dairy products are way less cruel than meat products in which you have to ...hullo ? ...actually kill the animal to get them !!

1214 Julie

Hi Julie, I knew it was called Afrikaans, my hubbie worked in Stanton for a couple of months and I stayed there too (easy if you're sefl-employed ;) )

You have such funny expressions (can't remember all, but this one I'll never forget) like for a safety belt, which we in Holland call "veiligheidsgordel" you call it "sitplekgordel" if I remember correctly. "Sitplek" I suppose you translate it in english as "seat" and I would translate "seat" in dutch as "stoel".

So is it possible you just translated an afrikan word for "chinese" litterally?

Just guessing... and we all must admit emotions raised hight in that discussion about BG=MM. (that's why I introduced Flappie last time)
I can understand when people feel attacked by several persons (and nobody helps them) people just don't think/react logical, emotions control the brains! And then it goes boom-boom-boom!

I don't want to interfere in your discussion, nor do I want to start (or finish) a discussion about what happened and who did/said what, please work it out.

Funny makes me smile, when I was a kid and I quarrelled with my brother, most of the time one of us started crying. When mama (or the nanny) interfered, it was always like "he did this" "she did that" "he said this" and "she said that" and it could go on for ages. We both felt hurt and we both felt the other one started. I wonder if you've got the same memories?

Bye now, I'm off to the next forum.

This is nothing to do with the current subject but I have just re-read a bit in a paper I was lighting a fire with, about Heather Mills' rant about milk and I just had to get this one in....sorry....

Since time immemorial, humankind has drunk the milk of cows, goats, sheep and in some cultures, horses, camels and so on, and eaten the yogurt and cheese made from same, it is a staple and highly essential food source. For Heather Mills to suggest we might just as well drink the milk of cats, dogs and rats is just another measure of this lunatic’s mind-set. Heather …if YOU don’t like milk, cheese or yogurt then don’t eat it !! simple !! just don’t try to tell those suffering and starving tribes in countries where they rely entirely upon just those very essential animal by-products that they mustn’t do it, we don’t care what your ill-educated mind thinks, if indeed you have one, I think you lost it way back………….

Kate’s lack of emotion and love shows up not just in gesture, posture, voice, etc but in the words she uses. She has NEVER even described a simple event that took place as a way of illustrating something about Madeleine
**************************************************************************

I think the one thing we are all agreed on is that Kate does not, nor ever has she, acted like a real Mother in all of this. It's as if she has just lost her dolly, the "YouTube" clip of her saying " ...click , and she was gone " was jaw-droppingly callous and detached !! She has never, as far as I am aware or have seen, displayed anything like the kind of emotions a Mother would show - SHOULD show, if a child has been snatched or has even gone missing for some other reason. She never looks at the camera or the interviewer, always looking sideways , down, up or anywhere but straight ahead with eyes wide open and appealing for anything about her daughter, she seems always to be speaking from some inner , well-rehearsed script and I don't think she gives a toss as to what has happened to the child who - in her own words - was always a handful, hyper-actvie and so on, more like a blessed relief but one that has mightily back-fired on her.

leslie Says:

"Compare that photo to the one top left corner of findmadeleine.com Sure looks like the same photo with photoshopped hair-"

Well, according to Real Stig, the McCanns often re-touched photos to get rid of the coloboma (so he theorized to explain the many photos of a girl WITHOUT coloboma).

I do think it is likely that photoshop was used to put in the long, informal looking hair, which also tends to cover up the eyebrows. In the "original" photo with the extremely short, stylized , set hair, you can see that the eyebrows have been altered.

It could be that the McCanns have not released a single original untouched photo of Madeleine -- maybe they did not have any photos that would not look very strange, and so they "fixed" a few of them.

1209
leslie Says:
"So, did these parents just see her as a doll? They certainly haven’t given any indication of this little girl’s personality, the mother hasn’t described childbirth with any kind of knowledge, the PR has mostly been defensive rather than about loss for a real little person.."

Kate's lack of emotion and love shows up not just in gesture, posture, voice, etc but in the words she uses. She has NEVER even described a simple event that took place as a way of illustrating something about Madeleine. (now that Team McCann has read this, just wait for her to do it --badly -- in her next interview!) She thinks that calling Madeleine "lovely" expresses a mother's feelings for an abducted child. Even Madeleine's last words are ridiculous -- "it was the best day ever". Can this mother tell us WHAT was so good about that day for Madeleine to say this? NO! Kate has had a hard time pretending to be a loving mother, when she is just another Monster McCann.

1211
lyn Says:
"Just looked at the photos of Maddie…awfully odd! Perhaps her mother was to enter her in the Beauty Pageants! Like Jonbenet ramsay!"

Yes, exactly. But the parents have NEVER mentioned any such ambitions or activities. And yet the girl is dolled up EXACTLY AS IF she is being entered in some kind of beauty contest. That is the point -- the photos are taken of her in this way so that some adults can marvel at her "beauty" -- but it is an adult beauty.

I think the parents do see her as a doll -- an object to be used. And it should be noted that right from the start Murat was said to be linked to paedophilia. Gerry said "I'm not going to comment on that" when asked if he was acquainted with Murat. Why did Gerry refuse to answer such a simple question?

1212
Christoph Says:
"Stick to the facts, ma’ams."

The FACTS are that the McCanns have released very few photos of Madeleine. Several show normal eyes (no coloboma) when zoomed, and pro-McConn Stig has suggested that the McCanns altered those photos.

What's YOUR explanation for the non-coloboma photos?

Which photos have they NOT altered? Which of their statements are NOT lies?

I know in SA they’ve a language that sometimes appears to be dutch? Do you speak that language?
Sorry Totje for the delay in replying to your question (I’d long gone to bed already). Yes the language is called Afrikaans, and I speak it at home.

Christoph
This is going to come across as sexist, but so what?

Most (not all) men give evidence, facts, reason, data when discussing this case, and women give such B.S. intuitions about photos, beauty contests, eyebrow waxing, and alleged “creepiness”.

Stick to the facts, ma’ams.

Problem is Christoph, the fact is she looks like a beauty queen and speaking of sexism, why would only the mother be accused of child neglect and not the father?

“Look at the photo of Madeleine on youtube- “More new pics of madeleine” the 5th photo of her- really weird or is it me.”

"Yes, thank you! — this is exactly what I was talking about. The “weird” quality is more evident in that photo, but it the same thing that I saw in the released photos. It is obvious that she is being deliberately portrayed as “adult”, especially with that very stylistic short haircut. And she is most 3 years old in that photo.

You are right to get a creepy feeling from the photo — that is how I felt when I first saw photos of Madeleine on the McCann webpage. .

And if you compare the 5th photo to the 6th photo, you can see that the eyebrows are being manipulated (plucked, and dyed). Her hair is apparently being dyed as well, being much lighter in the 6th photo."

Compare that photo to the one top left corner of findmadeleine.com Sure looks like the same photo with photoshopped hair-

Hideki :

So, did these parents just see her as a doll? They certainly haven't given any indication of this little girl's personality, the mother hasn't described childbirth with any kind of knowledge, the PR has mostly been defensive rather than about loss for a real little person.. Just my opinion.

So. Who is Madeleine McCann’s biological father?
*****************************************************
Doesn't matter, in IVF you can use donor sperm, Gerry may have been sterile and that's why they needed to use IVF in the first place. Maddie looks more like her Mum anyway

Has anyone else here voiced their joy that BG now has an identity? That’s what’s important. A little girl now has been identified.

************************************************************

I rather suspect that "joy" isn't what they would voice, more a disappopointment that the speculation as to her identity has been finally removed and that we are back to square one with the Madeleine thing. Even so...the details of that particular case are horrendous, and just opens up a whole new can of speculative worms as to the what, why and where of Maddie's case and the possibilites thereof

AXJ-Argentina has a strong theory similar to that of the Portuguese and Spanish police:

First. -No responsible parents leave small children alone in an apartment room in a foreign country.
Second.-Maddie's blood and hair were found in the apartment, and later in the car they rented 25 days after she disappeared. Why?
Third.-Why did her mother scream: "They took her". Who was she referring to?
Fourth.-Why are there so many discrepencies in the time the events took place and between all the friends?
Fifth.-The blood samples showed traces of drugs.

Only conclusion. The parents are not telling th truth. Why? What are they hiding?

(Especial)
