Gillian Gibbons And The Teddy Bear Called Muhammed
IF you go down to Sudan todsay…: “A British schoolteacher has been arrested in Sudan accused of insulting Islam’s Prophet, after she allowed her pupils to name a teddy bear Muhammad.”
Colleagues of Gillian Gibbons, 54, from Liverpool, said she made an “innocent mistake” by letting the six and seven-year-olds choose the name.
Ms Gibbons was arrested after several parents made complaints.
The BBC has learned the charge could lead to six months in jail, 40 lashes or a fine.
It’s no picnic…

As you’re a BNP supporter Albert Hurwood your comments can easily and quickly be discounted.

I had no idea that naming a Teddy Bear, Muhammed could cause offence to anybody, and there are many millions in this world who are shocked by this news Gillian Gibbons was in that country to help the children learn English, when the children themselves voted to call the loveable Teddy by this name. Could someone please explain why this was so wrong. Children the world over have loved these bears, and the bears have taught us to love!
Please, please help send this kind lady home to her family and relieve her of her sufffering.

It seems we send vast amounts of money to this country in the form of aid.
I do not want my tax-payers money to be given to such a load of dangerous fanatics. Pull the plug right now, and let them find out the hard way that you do not treat ‘friends’ like this.

1. I am a Muslim
2. This is rediculous and an outrage
3. Islam IS peace, study the religion not the people (majority of Muslims are shocked by whats happening)
4. FACT - Muhammed (peace be upon him) used to crawl around on his hands and knees pretending to be a camel whilst his grandson rode on his back
5. Fact - when a man urinated in the mosque the companions of the Prophet (peace be upon him) wanted to beat him but the Prophet (peace be upon him) stopped them, even let the man finish. He thought that if he stopped him it would cause pain. He told them to get a bucket of water to clean the area and then told the man, privatly, that we dont urinate in mosques and the man was appreciative of the advice.
6. the Sudanese people are forgetting how Muhammed (peace be upon him) actually dealt with people.

It is bordering on the ridiculous….we should take to the streets and demand her release chanting and weilding machetes ,this appears to be the only way to get things done these days.
We are too tolerant and need to get more of a backbone with these issues, common sense it appears does not prevail but if you are a non western individual thats ok!

I am a Christian, and would have no objection at all in naming a teddy bear after Jesus, because he loves children; but the Sudanese are giving the world the clear impression that Muhammad ‘doesn’t’ like children.
I can’t help wondering how any nation can claim to be even remotely civilised if it gets into a juvenile tantrum over giving a name to a toy! And ‘we’ are continually asked to give these Sudanese aid! Quite frankly, I’m no longer going to bother until these so called ‘followers’ of Islam cease their ‘delight’ of abusing women and children.

Well this is just beyond belief, its a soft toy! Muslims claim their relgion is a peaceful one (my arse) what kind of people are these? well this just lets us all know what they are, i need not say anymore.

THE NON-HALAL TEDDY BEAR’S PICNIC
If you go out to the Sudan today
You’re sure of a big surprise
If you go out in the Sudan today
You’d better go in disguise
For every bear that ever there was
Will fear the Sharia law, because
some children there
named a teddy Mohammed
If you go out in the Sudan today
You’d better not go alone
It’s lovely out in the Sudan today
But safer to stay at home
For every bear that ever there was
Fears a fatwa on there head, because
Today’s the day
The Muslims will punish a teacher
RUPERT AND THE PIED PIPER OF HARAAM
There’s a little bear
Like I hope you’ve never seen before
Who’s a lot of fun, (oh dear)
Children everywhere,
Grow to love him more and more, but he’s not the fastest growing religion anymore
He was the number one, (excepting the real Muhammad and Allah, be praised)
There’s a million stories to be told
Of the bad things that he’s done!
And he’s gonna share them all with you
So come along
(Chorusx2)
Oh Muhammad, Muhammad the Bear
Everyone despise his name, or else die in shame
Muhammad, Muhammad the Bear
Everyone come and join
In all of his games, unless you’re female
There is Badger Bill
Lily Tiger-Lily, I assume because she is covered too,
And a whole lot more
They are Muhammad’s friends
And they’re waiting here for you
So unlock the door (but don’t you dare remove that veil)
There’s a magic land not far away
And they call it Sudan
Where you’ll meet a little teddy bear in chains
And if you are good and have a very thick skin, you might just live to tell the tale again!
(Chorusx2)
Oh Muhammad, Muhammad the Bear
Everyone despise his name, or else die in shame
Muhammad, Muhammad the Bear
Everyone come and join
In all of his pain

They call their own children Mohammed, Mahmud, or different varations of the name of the Holy Prophet PBAH. And people bearing that Holy name then bomb and murder others in the name of their Religion of peace.
I would prefer a teddy bear frankly
How do they think they can EVER be taken seriously ?

” she made an “innocent mistake” by letting the six and seven-year-olds choose the name.”
So will the children also be flogged?
Islam - the religion of peace - followed by people who are anything but!

One wonders what opponents of Mohammad Ali would get then?
