Dear me, just noticed this thread and what a surprise I got!
So many judgmental people …. none of whom are aware of the facts of this case and all of whom are relying on media sources, even the writer of this initial thread.
Dear me……what have we come to, let’s hope it doesn’t happen to your children when you turn your backs in a supermarket (Jamie Bulger).
You should really get a life…you’ve all got too much time on your hands!

Firstly ,Cheryl, the poster was NOT being castigated, she was being asked or requested to bring a sense of balance to her post, and include all 3 arguidos in any resulting discussion. The Press was heavily laden all weekend with reports that Murats family is still under suspicion, and that his daughter is receiving medical attention because of all attention. Or do you not see that as fires raging?
You also posed why is Tony Bennett not being castigated, well as we were not castigating the poster involved, and Tony Bennetts postings are another matter, could we enquire as to whether you know who and what is being discussed behind the scenes?

REPLY: “Fires raging” against Murat – quite frankly a fire is burning yes but raging as destructively as against the McCanns absolutely not! Castigating may have been too strong a word, and I stand corrected to be so incorrect as to use such a harsh word as to how I perceived it to be, to describe your what “asked or requested”, to a poster to bring a sense of balance on here. However, I repeat – I’ve seen no such asking or requesting of TB on here over the outright inflammatory listings he posted.
