THE SUN: “No one will ever stand trial”
Because no one has been charged with any crime?
Or: “NOBODY will EVER stand trial over missing Madeleine McCann because cops made so many vital blunders,” says the Sun. And so too says Jose Anes, 62: “Mistakes in the early hours demolished the entire case”
The ex-director of Lisbon’s police lab is “Portugal’s top forensic expert”, a billing the lab’s current director may dispute
Mr Anes says: “If the scene is not preserved in the first hours, all the hours of effort that follow are useless. I am utterly convinced — unless some new, concrete evidence suddenly emerges — the case will never reach trial”
But what of the evidence gathered so far, like the DNA samples found in the McCanns’ hire car?
“Maddie sniffer dog ‘was rigged’” - Gerry McCann is “FURIOUS” – as often he is. He “believes sniffer dogs used to find Maddie clues in the family’s hire car were MANIPULATED by cops”
Says a “source close to the couple”: “Gerry says a dog went up to the Scenic, sniffed around and went to head off. He watched the dog being brought back to the vehicle. Finally, it reacts around the boot area. Gerry was open-mouthed at that, he feels the dog was manoeuvred into a position where it could react”
And smell
“Murat pals ’saw him near flat’” – “SUSPECT Robert Murat was PALS with British holiday nannies who say they saw him the night Maddie vanished, it has emerged”
Good friends? “And at least two of the girls knew him well enough to be on first name terms”
That’s close, eh
“A source confirmed yesterday that he did befriend several girls, adding: ‘A lot are attractive and he made a beeline for them. When they were asked who was near the apartment that night, several mentioned Murat”
DAILY MAIL: “Madeleine: Forensics expert says inquiry is ‘complete waste’ because of police blunders at apartment”
Says Jose Manuel Anes: “Huge amounts of money were spent but if, in the first hours, the due precautions for the preservation of the crime scene were not taken, all this hard work goes down the drain. We can spend rivers of money which will all go down the drain if the crime scene is not properly isolated”
The McCanns’ spokesman Clarence Mitchell says: “It is alarming to hear that Mr Anes has this view. All we want, and have done throughout, is to ensure the operational police side of this has been done in an effective and efficient manner as possible”
And why is Mr Anes – “the 62-year-old” - speaking out now? Because he’s making his comments known in a book called The McCanns’ Guilt – not that the case will ever, come to trial, you understand

that Murat’s mother actually set up a stall (it’s referred to as “her stall”) that was “appealing for information about Madeleine.” In order to transport tables for that stall, Murat’s mother used their van and (supposedly) therefore Murat had to rent a car.

Nothing to difficult? Sorry, this shite is difficult to swallow. Why is Murat’s mother so avidly helping the McCanns with their “find Madeleine” campaign? (and why was this downplayed in the news?)
Does Murat’s mother know the McCanns personally? Was she doing this for her son Robert Murat? Indeed, why is Robert Murat bending over backwards to help set up a stall helping the McCanns pretend that Madeleine was abducted?
Surely this is a further suggestion that the Murats/McCanns are well acquainted, though Gerry refused to comment when asked if he knew Murat.
I’m also surprised there was no mention of this in the press recently when Murat’s mother bitterly accused the McCanns of attacking them. Why no mention of the Murat’s previous efforts to help the McCanns? Very significant omission, IMO.

I’m not being disrespectful to you by posting about psychics but on Saturday I was at house where I saw several people get readings from a piss-poor psychic. Actually this bloke is on the radio out here and is famous. The people who got readings all exchanged views afterwards and I was the only person there who rationally reviewed what these people had been told by the psychic. They came out - the women in tears - because this man had “predicted” things like “you’ll be facing divorce in 3 months”. The woman in question said to everyone “well my marriage isn’t very good…” So then she is about to turn her entire life around on the basis of what this psychic said? It’s rubbish.
As the psychic left, he told everyone there’d be 3 inches of snow on Sunday so be careful. Well, the snow never did come. A frost perhaps. Psychics are no use to anyone I’m afraid. If someone can’t predict 100% of the time then what use are they? I can make predictions myself but don’t claim to be anything. Some of my predictions WILL come true. I predicted Arsenal would beat Chelsea last Sunday. It came true but it doesn’t mean anything. Sorry…I just see them as total charlatans. Magicians at best.

This could also be why team mccann seem to be distancing themselves from Metodo 3?
Just as a precaution in case they are found to be involved in some weird practices (eventually even leading to the discovery of Madeleine or her body) > the McCanns can always claim that they knew nothing about what Metodo 3 were doing.
I just really get the impression that everyone is running around in circles. Madeleine is even less on the news now than she ever was. Even Clarence Mitchell says today that he welcomes the new samples being sent to the FSS because it could be another step towards clearing Gerry and Kate McCann. Not because if could be another step towards finding that there was an abductor in the room or actually finding out what happened to Madeleine. No - clearly the focus is very simply Gerry and Kate McCann.
The relaxed attitude of the police about the red tape and bureaucracy really suggests everyone knows that Madeleine has not been abducted by someone unknown.
Yesterday’s PJ massive arrest operation in Portugal dismantling a large gang of hit men involved in illicit activities makes it to all the front pages. It almost sounds like the PJ are not as clueless as some like to suggest.
But there’s little if anything about the Madeleine investigation. It really sounds like everyone knows that this case became a waiting game and nothing major will happen until the new year.

Oh yes…that too !! I found their address from 192.com, wrote absolutely everything that Christine had said, asked them to do me the courtesy of reading it fully even if they then binned it as “crank” and never heard a word, not even a “thanks, but no thanks ” not even a “we appreciate your concern and support” and so on, and I even said that if someone was opening the letters on their behalf, because I think sisters and Aunties were acting as postal secretaries because they were getting so much mail, to please give the letter to Kate or Gerry or both, and let them decide what to do about it….result ? nothing.

There’s pictures in the public domain of the PJ searching barns from May. To come up with a prediction of a barn is not a revelation. I know this recent story about a barn is news but look for yourself at photos of the PJ and you’ll see helicopters, frogmen, PJ trampling through undergrowth, searching old outbuildings etc.
What that means is that virtually any “vision” had by a psychic would match something the PJ are doing or have already done. And, it doesn’t mean the psychic predicted anything. It just means it was a good (or not) coincidence.

You can do that until your fingers wear out, we practically bombarded them with stuff and got nothing back from anyone. The only response to stuff I have ever had was because I phoned and spoke to D.C Sparadbury at Leics. Police on about three occasions and he did tellme that they do use Mediums to good effect as do many, many Police forces but for obvious reasons, don’t make that too well known

But it was the hired car of the MCcanns, in that was found the fluids of a corpse, it wasn’t the car of Murat. Of course Murat was seen near the Mccanns appartment that evening, because he lives around the corner. If you would live there, you would have been seen too. Murat is a suitable scapegoat.

Not at all !! I have dated e-mails and faxes we sent to the Police and the papers which will show that she was saying that well before the papers reported it, in fact we even wondered if they had gone up there as a result of what we had sent !! In fact if you read my long-ago postings, you will see that I nearly had a fit when I saw a picture on one of the papers website showing the Police (?) in yellow overalls searching the dilapidated barn the first time around.
The only way you would believe what I am saying is if you saw the things we sent and I can’t very well show you them on here. I also rang Leics. Police and spoke to a D.C Spradbury who was handling the case and urged him to get someone to go up to the hills and look for the place at a time when we thought Maddie might still be alive but it wasn’t long after that, Christine had a message from one of her “regulars” who said there was “…no use looking for the youngster, she is with us now”
You see….this is PRECISELY why I sent dated stuff so that there would be no argument from Doubting Thomases like yourself !! I even e-mailed to myself on days when Chris rang me and told me things like the bit about the gypsy man with hair tied back who said they have put a ring round her ( Maddie) so that animals wouldn’t harm her and we would wonder how she is so intact still. E-mails are wonderful things in that respect as they show dates and times. The one I sent en masse to the papers was the one where I told how I tried to speak to the guy on the Newsdesk of the “Sun”, who told me he didn’t want to hear it as he had had a month of it and was sick of it all….HE was sick of it ? I asked him how he thought the McCanns felt !!
I just looked back on some of the e-mails I have here on the office computer and I had sent the picture of the Police at the dilapidated barn to Christine to see on September 19th. Most of the rest are indoors on that computer but I think I have given time-lines on much earlier postings but then, I can tell you about that until I am blue in the face and you would still look at me sideways !!

Essentially you are suggesting that the PJ must wait for Team McCann/Metodo3 to “make their move” (produce a body or a fake Madeleine or whatever) before charging them.
I see your point, but think it more likely that they have PREFERRED to wait, not that they “must” wait.
Now, finally, Team McCann knows the game is up and Metodo3 ’s intentions have been exposed. Unless they have an amazing trump card, they cannot go through with their plan, but must try to eradicate all signs of its existence.
Assuming the police are closely monitoring activity, it would have been preferable to let Metodo3 continue as long as possible, to gather more evidence against them and Team McCann — precisely to prevent them from denying that such plans existed.
IMO the PJ have a huge amount of evidence that can convict the McCanns and many others. But how the political intervention plays out is another matter, unclear to me.

There’s a story somewhere - easily found, that says another man - possibly a diplomat, loaned Gerry a computer and the pair of them downloaded photos on to it. I do recall reading that story. That obviously implies a memory card or digital camera.

You’re welcome. The problem with email is that when you read it with a program like Outlook, it’s normal to set it up so the email is deleted from the server once you read it on your own PC. I personally think they seized the computer - not for any specific reason other than a general look around on it. Any email is likely to have been deleted and gone from any server.
No - the more likely thing is that when you look at the installed programs on a computer, it tells a lot about the person. It’s sort of a personality profile. My PC is loaded up with geeky programmer tools and applications like that. Another’s might be full of games. Another full of their work documents etc. I don’t think there’d be much incriminating end-product on his laptop but I do think there’d be plenty of evidence about the sort of things he may or may not have been doing on the machine. IMO.

Look at the lady in black on the extreme left of the playground pic. There’s her own shadow and another one to the left of it. That one doesn’t converge - if anything it diverges and goes in the wrong direction if it should obey some law of pointing towards a vanishing point.

Thanks Stevo - I think that the PJ will have already some information on these pictures.
And that is the reason why they wanted to aprehend Gerry’s computer. IMO to check if they could recouver these photos in their original format.
I found it intriguing that the police were asking for the computer - and it was alleged they wanted to check email correspondence. As far as i’m aware it’s possible to intercept email communications without having access to your hard drive / computer. This is because the interception as far as I’m aware would take place via the ISPs.
Therefore, if the police wanted Gerry’s computer it wouldn’t be only because of the email correspondence, but surely for something else.
