Well, not every call. Just calls made in the area of Praia da Luz by those 1,000 persons on a police list

The papers says the search is in light of talk of a “massive conspiracy”. The Express is belived to be fond of a conspiracy

What the top girl’s name is readers are not told, nor where Kate features. The Telegraph says it is “Grace”, as in Baby Grace

Off course they did eat at the tappas bar until 10pm then they went to chaplins for the quiz
They probably ” listenened ” at the doors , heard nothing and assumed it to be ok.

Changes to plans are often made at the table, I can easily imagine someone saying, hey, they do a quiz night and happy hour in a place called chaplains, who’s up for it?
What about the kids?

yes agreed the chaplins thing seems to fit…however it was also reported that they used the ocean club mini bus for the trip so the pj will know for sure if its true….

Here’s a map marking the restaurants/pubs in Luz. Chaplins is down towards the bottom of the map (red balloon marked with J) … only problem is I don’t know where the apartment was on this map, it’s not marked, there’s only street names. Can anyone remember the street name that the apartment was on?

As usual, I can’t find the link when I want it! - but, I’m sure I remember that the PJ statement that they would not normally conduct interviews over the crimbo period unless essential, came out before the McSpinned version that they had ‘asked’ the PJ to delay interviews until after crimbo.

Sorry Ian … my PC just decided to have an afternoon nap, until I kicked it to wake it up!
I remember reports from some months ago that a waiter had reported from Chaplins that the “mob” had been there. I also distinctly recall that the reports said that they were there two nights before Madeleine “disappeared” … which would make it the Tuesday night, and would fit in perfectly with Mrs Fenn’s report of a child crying incessently late on that night.

How do you know that I am not a judge.
Given the PJ’s track record of leaking, do you really think that, if they had concerns (and at this stage I am carel to put it no higher) about the photos they would have kept quiet about it.
Any problems about needing new evidence in order to justify re-interviewing the Doctors McCann, and the rest of the T9 would be over come if doubts could be cast over the photos.
No, the PJ have not spotted it, or else, professionals have evaulated the photos and they are Kosher.
Ian, what is your question that enables the laity to distinguish b/w lawyers and pretenders?.

They thought that a closer, better checked scenario wouldnt be regarded as neglect……and gives them all an alibi.

If the apartment was specially chosen, and she went missing on a different night, it would have had to be pre-meditated then. If the apartment was chosen for a different purpose, not to do with a child going missing, then they would have surely called the police if she had gone missing unexpectedly.
Do you think the PDL have been asked to let the McCanns have Christmas with the family before an arrest?

Is there any proof that they went to Chaplin’s on the Tuesday - if they did, surely there would be credit card payments etc.
I thought that the waiter, and others, said they were regulars at the Tapas bar - a large braying group.
This is an important question and I am directing the board to focus on it

Quiz night, happy hour! Near the church (so thats how they knew about the church!).
Did they REALLY go there and leave the kids in the apartment! Do we know for sure they did that! Even if Maddy was abducted on the 3rd, this is appalling parenting!
