Maybe if the Arab League hadn’t tried to wipe them out they’d be more reasonable. Maybe if Europe hadn’t tried to wipe them out they wouldn’t be so mistrustful.
And people who hate Israel conflate them with the Jews all the time esp. the American ones. They also compare them to the Nazis all the time which is sick considering Germany had many different options - Jews had tried everything but Zionism, so why not die and be hated in your traditional homeland when it’s going to happen anyway no matter what you do?

Conflating Isreal and Jews. Something that people that criticise Israel never do, but something that the usually also rabidly right-wing defenders of Israel always do, as in this “joke”.
I have never had this conflation problem, hence continuing to boycott Israel as a travesty to the principles on which it was founded and as an illegal state in international law with over 60 UN Resolutions against it, breaches of UN conventions on human rights as well as the Geneva Convention, let alone the setting up of Ghettoes and stealing of land, 73% of the former Palestine and counting.
Haha. What next, Islamaphobia dressed up as exposing Anti-Semitisim? Oh dear, that Cohen’s already covered that one…
