The Correio da Manha newspaper “claimed Kate and Gerry, of Rothley, Leics, could be charged with perjury and wasting police time”
But don’t the police waste enough of that themselves?
“They have been warned by their legal team they may have to go to the European Court of Human Rights to get their arguido status lifted”
Human rights? What of Madeleine’s rights?

I think it adds up pretty much. I also think the T9 have kept stchum because the kid stumbled on a stash of recreationals - IMHO of course. Medical profs taking drugs whilst having kids in their care would not bode well. Other than that I cannot see any other reason for their secrecy.
Wonder if they were stashed in Cuddle Cat and this was the reason for the washing?

Cheryl has terrible problems with grammar and an inability to make herself interesting! Learn to use the English language in an amusing and articulate way if you are saying f*ck all!. I think she’s trying to sound like an educated person - but comes across like somebody who struggles to get a degree.

Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit. I was not referring to one of Hideki’s particular posts and I would have thought that was obvious. I was referring to the general theme of all of Hideki’s posts which I assume led to the ban. How do you know that there wasn’t a nugget of truth in them? If I didn’t catch the exact post which caused the uproar, so what? I don’t sit reading this forum all day and night. I just happened to see that he/she was banned and was musing why, do you have a problem with that?

2 Neither man ever told who was the ‘first’. I believe I am right in saying that to their last days they insisted it was a joint affair - and rightly so.
3 In any event the discovery of Mallory’s (or Irvine’s) body on the ice fall some years ago lead to a fascinating forensic argument, the conclusion of which is that they (M&I) had ‘probably’ been first on the summit.
But in the absence of direct first hand evidence the case would have to be left for people to argue about for generations … Oh, bugger. Rather like this one in fact.
