The Correio da Manha newspaper “claimed Kate and Gerry, of Rothley, Leics, could be charged with perjury and wasting police time”
But don’t the police waste enough of that themselves?
“They have been warned by their legal team they may have to go to the European Court of Human Rights to get their arguido status lifted”
Human rights? What of Madeleine’s rights?

If the child died accidentally (what I believe) and if the parents are covering it up, how long will they - theoretically speaking - be able to endure the pressure, the media spotlight etc.? Isn’t there something in the human mind like an URGE to confess? Don’t people (who are not “professional criminals”) simply break down after a certain period of time and confess?

I stand corrected. Still, he must take teeny weeny little steps to take that many to cover the 40 yards.
Don’t think he was being Gerry’s friend on that report though - remember when he said it would have been impossible to see if anyone was going in or out of the apartment. Slightly different from what Gerry told us. But then Martin must just have been confused, or Warners have since planted a row of trees in the way since 3rd May!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Or, my preference would be for a sighting of the missing tennis bag.
How is Tom? Our two had a great time - attacking everything. Now all the decorations and presents are gone they are back to simply trying to work out how to open the fridge.

My memory is being jogged … the rumor also said that the MW employees had to go fetch the McCanns because M was crying for about 1.5 hours May 2nd. Parents were brought home around 10:30. Death is thought to have occurred at midnight. That is the working theory.
M was concealed in a 2nd apartment belong to one of the other Tapas.
There is no record of where Gerry went at 4 pm on May 3.
Also there was absolutely no sign of Madeleine on CCTV cameras at the creche or any where else on May 3.

596 - hi batman -i hate to dissagree with you but even team mcc have enough brains between them to realise that they’ve been overdoing it with the recent (recycled) sightings
It will be Maddies Grandparents being interveiwed - or one of them will have a ’suspected’ heart attack (really a panic attack) and Dr G McC will be the rescuing hero, Kate of course will be interveiwed by hello magazine the next day talking about her feelings, how difficult it was for her to sleep and how she believes her prayers were answered when mother/father/mother in law (delete as appropriate) made a miraculous recovery.
