The Correio da Manha newspaper “claimed Kate and Gerry, of Rothley, Leics, could be charged with perjury and wasting police time”
But don’t the police waste enough of that themselves?
“They have been warned by their legal team they may have to go to the European Court of Human Rights to get their arguido status lifted”
Human rights? What of Madeleine’s rights?

The whole child neglect thing is just a subterfuge…something to bolster the bogus theory of the evil abductor.
This is why we ignore it a lot.
Possible child neglect issues DO arise re: drugging/sedating your remaining surviving infant children while you busily go around trying to mess with the shutters and dispose of the body and bleach the floors, drink wine at the Tapas Bar, walk aimlessly around, etc.
Child neglect issues do NOT arise if, after killing your child (accidentally or otherwise) you leave her body alone in a freezer or otherwise move it around. The act so described IS wrongful, but it is NOT child neglect.

I was not wasting time! I wanted to know if I could leave my 3yr old and two 18 mths kids alone whilst I went out on the piss to swinging parties in Portugal. I wanted reassurance that I would not be imprisoned for my actions! The McCs can do it, so why not me?
I asked for a list of their guide-lines - as a concerned member of the public - and they would not send me any.

I’ve said this before and, thinking about it, I’m going to say it again (at risk of boring those with long memories!): The UK is such a ‘disturbed’ country now that the thing which will ultimately crucify the McCanns and their cohorts will not be the killing of their child (should this be proven) but the setting up of a scam Fund. Money is what counts here now. The hysteria over children is just that - hysteria, described in the dictionary as “a psychiatric condition variously characterised by emotional excitability….or the unconscious stimulation of organic disorders such as blindness or deafness”. The word hysteria actually derives from the Greek hystero, meaning the uterus so its development into an adjective clearly indicates that the state, at one time, must have been confined to members of the ‘weaker sex’. Men weren’t hysterical. Mass hysteria was unknown. How things have changed.
The ‘blindness’ and ‘deafness’ of hysteria have been amply displayed by most parties to the McCann saga including the McCanns themselves, their rich defenders, the government, the newspapers. Plenty of empty words have been said and written about the little girl at the centre of the maelstrom. The cause of her being exposed to whatever actually happened to her has not been addressed. Who really cares? She is a disposable means to an end.
The money involved, however, is a different matter. If and when the proverbial hits the fan then the McCanns will be crucified because of this - for setting up a Fund, defrauding the public, making fools of their rich benefactors, for the sting.
All the above allegedly, and imo.

REPLY: I have seen no one who could be classified in that Pro-McCanns’ category, Ian, who are saying they have done nothing wrong in leaving their children alone. I can’t think of a person alive who doesn’t feel by their neglect this child went missing under yet unknown circumtances. That is a given, Ian, by their actions - not even up for a debate.
