What "confidentiality" are you bound by - you are not entitled to practise as a solicitor without a practicisng certificate.

PS I would not be crowing about your witch hunt of Michael Barrymore. All you've done is wind up Stuart Lubbocks grieving father.

I woud suggest that lionheart gets a proper lawyer. If s/he is actually qualified to practice in England, so much the better.

If he is charged then the British People better wake up very quickly afterwards because there will be only one way to get our country back.

And if it comes to that, who will be the 21st Century version of Oliver Cromwell, about 400 years after the first one? And assuming the forces of freedom prevail, from comment #24, I would say the Deobandis would be at the front of the line for the Black Jack Pershing treatment.

20 Remigius

The only e-mail I have is that of Det. Constable Ian Holden, who works under Detective Sergeant Steve Facer at Bedfordshire Police.

His e-mail is: Ian.Holden@Bedfordshire.pnn.Police.uk

D/C Holden is on holiday at present but you will be re-directed if you e-mail him.

I daresay one of these three might work:

Here's an article that should also put Bedfordshire Police to shame - and shows who the 'real' criminals on this issue are.

Carry on speaking up against the murderous militants in our midst, LionHeart:

Bishop warns of no-go zones for non-Muslims

Islamic extremists have created "no-go" areas across Britain where it is too dangerous for non-Muslims to enter, one of the Church of England's most senior bishops warns today.

The Rt Rev Michael Nazir-Ali, the Bishop of Rochester and the Church's only Asian bishop, says that people of a different race or faith face physical attack if they live or work in communities dominated by a strict Muslim ideology.

[Picture: Bishop Nazir-Ali warns that attempts are being made to give Britain an increasingly Islamic character]

Writing in The Sunday Telegraph, he compares the threat to the use of intimidation by the far-Right, and says that it is becoming increasingly difficult for Christianity to be the nation's public religion in a multifaith, multicultural society. His comments come as a poll of the General Synod - the Church's parliament - shows that its senior leaders, including bishops, also believe that Britain is being damaged by large-scale immigration.

Bishop Nazir-Ali, who was born in Pakistan, gives warning that attempts are being made to give Britain an increasingly Islamic character by introducing the call to prayer and wider use of sharia law, a legal system based on the Koran.

In an attack on the Government's response to immigration and the influx of "people of other faiths to these shores", he blames its "novel philosophy of multiculturalism" for allowing society to become deeply divided, and accuses ministers of lacking a "moral and spiritual vision".advertisementEchoing Trevor Phillips, the chairman of the Commission for Equalities and Human Rights, who has said that the country is "sleepwalking into segregation", the bishop argues that multiculturalism has led to deep divisions.

David Davis, the shadow home secretary, has accused Muslims of promoting a kind of "voluntary apartheid" by shutting themselves in closed societies and demanding immunity from criticism...

This is what 'Lionheart' has been instrumental in highlighting for long time, onlyb from a local perspective (his home town of Luton, Bedfordshire, England).

Dangerously hostile and aggressively fundamentalist Deobando Islamic sects are gradually assuming control of some of the mosques in Britain, influecing generations of Muslim young to hate the Britsih, whites, Christiand and the West, preparing the more susceptible of the young Muslims to kill themslves in terror attacks against Western targets.

This extract from last year's Times highlights the increasingly influential role that the hard-line Deobandi sect is taking amongst Britain's mosques.

In Pakistan and Afganistan this Islamic sect is influential and engaged in both terrorist attacks but also proseltysing amongst the young in their seminaries, as well as catering for British-born Pakistanis who travel; to these madressas for educationDeobandi-style, ready to return to the 'fronter regions' of Britain to undermine the British way of life and its identity in the hope of creating a British Caliphate.

"The Deobandi organisations most active in Afghanistan today are the Harkatul Mujahideen, Jaish-e-Mohammed, and Harkatul Jihad. According to sources, a group of jihadis killed during an US air strike on Kandahar recently included about 25 Harkatul Mujahideen activists. Among them was Farooq Commander, who had left for Afghanistan just three days earlier and whose was the first Pakistani corpse to be brought home, to Karachi, since the US air strikes began. Another recent Pakistani casualty in Afghanistan was that of another Harkatul Mujahideen member, Abdul Wahab, who had been elected councillor from Golimar in the local elections a few months ago. A couple of Barelvi organisations, the Harkat-e-Inquilab and the Lashkar-i-Islami, are also said to have a presence in Afghanistan, albeit a negligible one. Courtesy Darra Adam Khel’s booming weapons industry in the Frontier, not to mention conduits through China where TT pistols and Kalashnikovs are manufactured, these militant organisations are armed to the teeth... According to those with links to the Deobandi madrassahs, their students are basically taught the Quran, and its interpretation until they become “baaligh ” (the age of puberty, judged by the appearance of facial hair), and it is after this that they are motivated for jihad. By this yardstick, say sources, there are at present some 300,000 young men being motivated for jihad in the madrassahs... However, the recent promotional video circulated by the Al-Qaeda organisation includes footage of what are undoubtedly teenage boys undergoing military training in Afghanistan. Moreover, in the Frontier and Northern Areas of Pakistan in particular, children are familiar with the use of weapons by the time they reach adolescence. "

This is the article from the Times...

Hardline takeover of British mosques

Andrew Norfolk
Almost half of Britain’s mosques are under the control of a hardline Islamic sect whose leading preacher loathes Western values and has called on Muslims to “shed blood” for Allah, an investigation by The Times has found.

Riyadh ul Haq, who supports armed jihad and preaches contempt for Jews, Christians and Hindus, is in line to become the spiritual leader of the Deobandi sect in Britain. The ultra-conservative movement, which gave birth to the Taleban in Afghanistan, now runs more than 600 of Britain’s 1,350 mosques, according to a police report seen by The Times.

The Times investigation casts serious doubts on government statements that foreign preachers are to blame for spreading the creed of radical Islam in Britain’s mosques and its policy of enouraging the recruitment of more “home-grown” preachers.

Mr ul Haq, 36, was educated and trained at an Islamic seminary in Britain and is part of a new generation of British imams who share a similar radical agenda. He heaps scorn on any Muslims who say they are “proud to be British” and argues that friendship with a Jew or a Christian makes “a mockery of Allah’s religion”.

Seventeen of Britain’s 26 Islamic seminaries are run by Deobandis and they produce 80 per cent of home-trained Muslim clerics. Many had their studies funded by local education authority grants. The sect, which has significant representation on the Muslim Council of Britain, is at its strongest in the towns and cities of the Midlands and northern England.

Figures supplied to The Times by the Lancashire Council of Mosques reveal that 59 of the 75 mosques in five towns – Blackburn, Bolton, Preston, Oldham and Burnley – are Deobandi-run.

It is not suggested that all British Muslims who worship at Deobandi mosques subscribe to the isolationist message preached by Mr ul Haq, and he himself suggests Muslims should only “shed blood” overseas.

But while some Deobandi preachers have a more cohesive approach to interfaith relations, Islamic theologians say that such bridge-building efforts do not represent mainstream Deobandi thinking in Britain.

The Times has gained access to numerous talks and sermons delivered in recent years by Mr ul Haq and other graduates of Britain’s most influential Deobandi seminary near Bury, Greater Manchester.

Intended for a Muslim-only audience, they reveal a deep-rooted hatred of Western society, admiration for the Taleban and a passionate zeal for martyrdom “in the way of Allah”.

The seminary outlaws art, television, music and chess, demands “entire concealment” for women and views football as “a cancer that has infected our youth”.

Mahmood Chandia, a Bury graduate who is now a university lecturer, claims in one sermon that music is a way in which Jews spread “the Satanic web” to corrupt young Muslims.

“Nearly every university in England has a department which is called the music department, and in others, where the Satanic influence is more, they call it the Royal College of Music,” he says.

Another former Bury student, Bradford-based Sheikh Ahmed Ali, hails the 9/11 attacks on America because they acted as a wake-up call to young Muslims. This, he says, taught them that they will “never be accepted” in Britain and has led them to “return to Islam: sisters are wearing hijab . . . the lion is waking up”.

Mr ul Haq, the most high-profile of the new generation of Deobandis, runs an Islamic academy in Leicester and is the former imam at the Birmingham Central Mosque. Revered by many young Muslims, he draws on his extensive knowledge of the Koran and the life and sayings of the prophet Muhammed to justify his hostility to the kuffar, or non-Muslims.

One sermon warns believers to protect their faith by distancing themselves from the “evil influence” of their non-Muslim British neighbours.

“We are in a very dangerous position here. We live amongst the kuffar, we work with them, we associate with them, we mix with them and we begin to pick up their habits.”

In another talk, delivered a few weeks before 9/11, he praises Muslims who have gained martyrdom in battle and laments that today “no one dare utter the J word”. “The J word has become taboo . .. The J word is jihad in the way of Allah.”

The Times has made repeated attempts to get Mr ul Haq to comment on the content of his sermons. However, he declined to respond.

A commentator on religious radicalism in Pakistan, where Deobandis wield significant political influence, told The Times that “blind ignorance” on the part of the Government in Britain had allowed the Deobandis to become the dominant voice of Islam in Britain’s mosques.

Khaled Ahmed said: “The UK has been ruined by the puritanism of the Deobandis. You’ve allowed the takeover of the mosques. You can’t run multiculturalism like that, because that’s a way of destroying yourself. In Britain, the Deobandi message has become even more extreme than it is in Pakistan. It’s mind-boggling.”

In some mosques the sect has wrested control from followers of the more moderate majority, the Barelwi movement.

A spokesman for the Department for Communities said: “We have a detailed strategy to ensure imams properly represent and connect with mainstream moderate opinion and promote shared values like tolerance and respect for the rule of law. We have never said the challenge from extremism is simply restricted to those coming from overseas.”

The Bishop of Rochester, Michael Nazir-Ali, of Pakisatni ethnicity has recently ( and courageosly) highlighted the problems that some British towns and cities are facing from the problem of ethnic and religious tensions caused primarily by the creation of Asian Muslim neighbourhoods. Such pluralism, for long an orthodox belief held by the state-sanctioned cult of mulitculturialism, has allowed such coomunities to foster their own traditions and loyalties at the expens eof the indigenous host communities.

'Lionheart', amongst many other commentators and bloggers, have been pinpointing this out for years, often at great cost to themsleves.

Now we have the Pakistani Bishop of Rochester who has very bravely spoken out about these very things. He has done all Britons a good job in standing up and speaking about these fundmental issues that affect us living within these islands.

The only problem is that the Bishop of Rochester of Pakistani extraction can say these things in public.

An Englishman who highlights the Islamist terror and drugs in his home town of Luton gets the local Plod on his back, threatening him with arrest for allegations of incitement and public order offences.

You can't make it up.

Here is the extract...

"The Pakistani-born Bishop of Rochester in the Church of England, Michael Nazir-Ali, who holds dual Pakistani and British citizenship, has said Islamic extremism has turned some communities into no-go areas for people of a different faith or race.

Writing in the Sunday Telegraph, Nazir-Ali, said those of a different faith or race may find it difficult to live or work in some areas due to “hostility. People of a different race or faith face physical attack in some Muslim areas.”

Will he now be accused of racial hatred and charged under the Race Relations Act, we wonder? Or will he be allowed to say that because he is a Pakistani?

Nazir-Ali went on to say that there had been a worldwide resurgence of Islamic extremism, leading to young people growing up alienated from the country they live in. It had also turned “already separate communities into ‘no-go’ areas”.

He said there had been attempts to “impose an ‘Islamic’ character on certain areas”, for example, by amplifying the call to prayer from mosques.

Apart from issues about noise levels, Dr Nazir-Ali said it also raised questions about “whether non-Muslims wish to be told the creed of a particular faith five times a day on the loudspeaker”.

He said the role of chaplains in such places as hospitals, prisons and educational establishments was in jeopardy “either because of financial cuts or because the authorities want ‘multifaith’ provision, without regard to the distinctively Christian character of the nation’s laws, values, customs and culture”."

Sorry, I have to agree with Anorak.

The whole "hate speech" issue is a way for the state to obtain totalitarian powers in the guise of "protecting" others. If you write "Mao is dead," as one hapless PRC did a few decades ago, should you be prosecuted for attempting to assassinate the Chairman even though you merely had a thought of doing that, and wrote it down?

I do agree that imagination is the mother of invention.

But if we start criminalizing imagination and its mere expression, the slammers will be very full indeed.

If whatever-her-name-is Muslim rapper terrorist writes about beheading infidels, well, as long as she takes NO OVERT ACT towards the physical accomplishment of that goal, she is just blabbering.

A while back, I lived in Morocco, and the hit single on Muslim radio (yes, they have it) was a song called "I Hate Israel." I thought, well, this is a kind of very political, interesting tune, let me get a copy of it for research purposes. And my Moroccan friends were terrified that I would be arrested when customs found the CD in my bags. And I gave them a big, long lecture about the many wonderful freedoms we enjoy here in the West, among them freedom of expression, and a real appreciation of political difference.

Obviously, we have a lot more in common with what Lawrence called the petty despots than we imagine.

Get ready for the fledgeling Police State that Britain has become.

Remember that THEY have come first for the nationalists and patriots who defend the ancient liberties and rights of our country. Then they will come for YOU...

'Lionheart' has NEVER caled for violence or glorified terrorism. He is an honest Christian who lives his beliefs through his actions. He is a man of peace and a man of honour. His crime? To publicise on a blog what has been happening to his hometown of Luton, an English city on the frontline of the Islamic Jihadist War on Britain, part of its ideological strategy in conquering the West - and eventually the world - in its long-term goal in achieving an Islamist World on behalf of its god Allah.

'Lionheart' has committed no 'Public Order Acts' as far as anyone with commonsense and rational logic can see. He is in fact the victim, a man who has been hounded out of his hometown, a English patriot who has suffered - and is suffering - from his "error" in choosing right from wrong. You see, he did not turn away or act in denial like many of his compatriots and neighbours did when they saw wrong-doing in his community. He stood up for what he saw was the right way against crime and terror. And for that choice he was persecuted by the local Bedfordshire Police who have a small but insidiously corrupt few bad officers in their ranks. He was literally thrown to the lions and ignored after doing his best for the community and the forces that are supposed to represent law and order.

Bedfordshire Police - you should be ashamed of yourselves. You, who have ignored a lone man who has tried to stand up against the forces of Islamist chaos and disorder in his hometown, have now decided to persecute him because he speaks the truth.

If you useless jobsworths who are not fit to wear the police uniform wish to start a war over your mean-spirited persecution of 'Lionheart' then believe me you will regret it. We shall launch a campaign to utterly discredit you and your political masters and expose you as the do -nothings who have failed the British people from protecting them from Islamist terror and drugs. 'Lionheart' will become a martyr in the war for free speech and you shall become reviled as another example of the forces which have tried to stifle the British people's right to free speech.

Your attempts to bully and to intimidate 'Lionheart' will come back to you and those of you who have organised this exercise in police bullying and fascism will end up exiled from your police careers and signing on at your local Employment Exchange. You are surely a disgrace to this country and to your police force. Stop this puerile exercise in state bullying and oppression now or resign from your jobs - if you have any moral code or a shred of decency.

Great post on this. We will fight for Lionheart! The 'Bushies' would never advocate these legal shenanigans but some of the PIAPS people and Dhimmicrats do and would.

This 'Racial & Religious Hatred Act' is a load of crap. Hopefully it will be scrapped someday when the lawyers start being pressured to use it against Islam's obvious and much more virulent hate speech.

This planned arrest is terrible news for Lionheart, Britain and the world.
Probably the Luton Pakistani Muslim Heroin and crack gang (which is also involved with forcing non-Muslim teen girls into sex-slavery) who he has helped expose pressured the dhimmi pigs to arrest him.

Too many in the dhimmidiot government in Britain are pathetic and corrupt.
The EU is showing itself to be very evil in practice as well as most misguided and extremely stupid and ignorant of reality.

This suppression of free speech will actually cause more violence and hatred of course.
This case will also serve to educate the masses even more about the evils of Sharia and the importance of standing up to Islam.

This must be made very public, we should all tell all our friends about this. Spread the word! God bless Lionheart, I believe he will prevail.
The lawyers on the Right MUST be supported to start fighting this BS more.

Both 'The Left' and 'The Right' should be ticked off about this.

We should tell all the Radio Gods about this. Maybe they'll rant about it on their shows.

LionHeart has received this from Bedfordshire Police:

QUOTE

Here is confirmation of your appointment at Greyfriars Police station on Tuesday 19th February 2008.

If you have any problems in relation to this appointment please do no hesitate to contact my Sergeant DS Steve Facer on 01234 275356.

UNQUOTE

It's a free country (I think), so anyone who has a couple of minutes to spare can 'phone 'Sergeant Steve', who appears to be the man in charge of suppressing freedom of speech to dissent against the spread of Islamist drug-running and militancy in and around Luton.

The police are 'very sensitive to the needs of our diverse community' these days, so I'm sure 'Sergerant Steve' would welcome your views.

We're 'inclusive' now, remember, so ALL views count.

Oh, that number again: 01234 275356. Ask for Detective Sergeant Steve Facer

This is ATROCIOUS. Lionheart has never called for violence, and also he's not talking out of his ass either - he's basically just reporting whats happening in his town. He only got into this because he was an anti-drug educator who was researching the drugs trade in Luton and discovered that the muslim drug dealers were largely muslim and justifying their business as jihad since drug taking harms kaffirs, and he figured out the money was going towards organizations that support jihad. Sounds pretty reasonable to me that he is concerned. And how on earth can anyone call him violent or paranoid? He's proved that his arrest threat is very, terrifyingly real, and meanwhile he's totally non-violent -- the man is a devoted christian for God's sake!
This is terrible. The people on here who are dismissing this guy are not being realistic. He is not a racist, he is not full of hate - only justified fear - and he is not inciting racist anything - he's talking about followers of a religion, not an ethnic group!!!
If this goes down, I for one am going to put up a fight, start a petition, write to Gordon Brown, write to the White House to plea to them to give Lionheart political asylum, and definitely get Fox news and Glenn Beck on the case. Honestly I think he should go home and get arrested and get this thing out of the blogospere and onto our televisions - he won't be convicted, of that I am sure, and it will bring this issue right out in the open where it belongs!!!!!

Sounds pretty reasonable to me that he is concerned. And how on earth can anyone call him violent or paranoid? He’s proved that his arrest threat is very, terrifyingly real, and meanwhile he’s totally non-violent — the man is a devoted christian for God’s sake!
This is terrible. The people on here who are dismissing this guy are not being realistic. He is not a racist, he is not full of hate - only justified fear - and he is not inciting racist anything - he’s talking about followers of a religion, not an ethnic group!!!
If this goes down, I for one am going to put up a fight, start a petition, write to Gordon Brown, write to the White House to plea to them to give Lionheart political asylum, and definitely get Fox news and Glenn Beck on the case. Honestly I think he should go home and get arrested and get this thing out of the blogospere and onto our televisions - he won’t be convicted, of that I am sure, and it will bring this issue right out in the open where it belongs!!!!!

"Is it right that people should be arrested for writing things and thinking things that the powers that be do not approve of? Is the UK now like Saudi Arabia?"
****************

Probably not too long before the UK is an extension of Saudi Arabia. This country does its best to accommodate the sensitivities of immigrants, whilst at the same time down playing Christianity in case any references or visual representations may be offensive to other cultures.

Having read his writings, he should be Sectioned, not arrested. He is obsessed.

That's the trouble with many 'free-speech' cases. Philosphically you want the Police to butt-out. But then you read what's been written and your resolve takes a hit!

So, the UK has finally become a fully fledged police state, what next, jail for "thoughts likely to incite racial hatred"?

One of the issues here, which Bedfordshire Police may well have to account for in due course, is the way they have approached this investigation. I will not say more otherwise I would be breaching a confidence.

The way Bedfordshire Police seem to have put it, it is words on a website that they say amount to 'LionHeart' breaching the 'incitement to racial' hatred provisions of the Public Order Act 1986.

It seems that his main campaign is against Islamist (note I do not say Islamic) terrorism based in and around Luton. Let us bring to mind Bedfordshire Police's abject failure to deal with the Islamist murderers who killed 52 people and maimed scores more in their 7/7 bombings. The Muslim murderers met and planned their attacks in Luton. And set off from Luton railways station on their murderous mission.

There are, in Luton, Islamists involved in planning terrorist offences, involved in drug dealing to which Bedfordshire Polce turn a blind eye, and involved in other criminal activity.

LionHeart speaks out against all this - and Bedfordshire Police decide to go after - who?

Incidentally, LionHeart should not be compared with Samina Malik. Anorak wrote:

QUOTE

Malik said she had only called herself the Lyrical Terrorist “because it sounded cool”. In The Living Martyrs she wrote: “Let us make Jihad/ Move to the front line/ To chop chop head of kuffar swine“. A second poem was called How to Behead. “It’s not as messy or as hard as some may think/ It’s all about the flow of the wrist.”

UNQUOTE

Of course this is incitement to violence - a criminal offence. Of course it is glorifying terrorism - another criminal offence. She was rightly punished.

Let those, like Lionheart, who have the courage to speak out against Islamist militancy and terrorism, be handed medals and bravery awards, not interviews under caution by the politically correct and ineffective Bedfordshire Police.
