So, did the Express get that bit wrong this morning or did posters to this site jump to the wrong conclusions?

It does seem strange to me, if the Express is right, that CM feels the need to maintain that the “Tapas 9″ are as one and nobody is changing their story.

The mods and admin here are completely biased towards a clique of posters who rule this site by spin and bullying. Freedom of speech is dead on this site which has become a platform for someone not dissimilar to Gerry McCann. Certain posters use abusive and personal attacks, give out personal details with impunity. Other posters are censored for just holding different views. Satire is dead here and the mob rules. Debate, you say? Only if you repeat the party line. Hardly debate. Contributors are leaving to escape the stranglehold of the thugs here on anorak and their knuckledragger bodyguards. Threats are allowed by mods and admin who not only allow it but actively encourage it. A site once feared by the McCanns is now one megalomaniacs second home. The free thinkers leave on a daily basis.

Robert Murat, seems a little suspicious but why is it that there’s no concrete evidence to convict him? His Girlfriend Micheala is now a suspect all because someone thought he saw her handing Madeleine over? That’s just witnesses, and as far as we all know, most sitings were incorrect! SO why should this one suddenly be correct? It’s called “Desperation” Because the police never did do a good job finding correct evidence, now in order to not seem STUPID they are PRETENDING to know who did this crime.

If You ask me, I somehow think the McCann’s are being set up. I have a funny feeling that someone from the police or the police could’ve been involved……..

And if the blood found in the car is indeed Madeleine’s, and investigators are saying that it’s impossible, the doesn’t that only make sense that some1 put it in the car when the Mccann’s hired it?Since it was so EASY to find and FRESH? Why would the Mccann’s still be driving the car they used to transport their possibly dead daughter?

I also though think Madeleine is alive, because what good would a dead child be to a person? Maybe the ransom wasn’t demanded becaus the child was put into use? Weres the evidence that Madeleine IS ACTUALLY dead?

Oh and someone please help me to understand why all the witnesses that say they saw madeleine, not run after and ask something to her? WHO cares about bloody politness when a childs life could be at danger here?!

REPLY: Agreed; additionally, his comment about Madeleine being dead was another huge pointer in that direction. They can no longer hold the line about ‘wanting to re-focus on Madeleine’. They have indeed ‘lost the plot’ in this tragi-drama being played out on a public stage

The amount of posts to Anorak on a daily basis is very much higher than that on some other Forums. Part of that higher level of traffic may be attributable to the nature of the posting experience on Anorak. Many Forums are heavily Moderated. ALL comments submitted are held for review before being ‘released’ and printed on the site. This approach prevents repetitive posts, those which are not relevant to the discussion, ‘infantile’/abusive comments, as well as potentially libellous posts being published. The downside is traffic on these sites appears ‘sluggish’ since there is a delay between a post being submitted and it’s appearance on the site.

I suspect one of the attractions of Anorak is the ‘instant messaging’ style of the Forums. Admin/Mods interfere as little as possible and comments submitted are immediately visible to all on the site and can be responded to in ‘real time’ This allows ‘conversations’ to take place. The downside to the Anorak approach is that some contributors use that freedom to be overly-vehement in dismissing opposing viewpoints. Anorak is neither ‘pro’ or ‘anti’ McCann. We offer an opportunity for all viewpoints to be discussed and debated. The key word here is ‘debate’. If contributors to Anorak decide to leave and join other Forums because they feel they are not given the courtesy of having their views taken seriously and the strength/weaknesses of their position examined and tested by logical argument, but are instead treated in – what seems to them – an hostile fashion merely for expressing their opinions then that is a loss to Anorak. The Forums work best when there are a variety of opinions/viewpoints up for discussion. A Forum where only one view is expressed is a sterile environment.
