Madeleine McCann: Her Blood, Official Tabloid News And Michaela Walczuch Denies
MADDYWATCH - Anorak’s at-a-glance guide to press coverage of Madeleine McCann
DAILY EXPRESS front page: “MADELEINE: IT WAS HER BLOOD IN PARENTS’ HIRE CAR”
“New results sent to Portugal in the last few days show the blood samples could only belong to Madeleine, it was claimed” – claimed…
Portuguese newspaper Correio da Manha reports: “The definitive result of the tests leave no doubts for the Policia Judiciaria. The blood found in the McCanns’ car is that of Madeleine as well as those samples detected in the flat”
No doubt? So says a newspaper report that provides the basis to THE WORLD’S GREATEST NEWSPAPER’S lead story
Says McCanns’ spokesman Clarence Mitchell: “These reports are very distressing for Kate and Gerry, they are depressed that again wild rumour and speculation is being presented as fact. We wish Portuguese police would just get on with their investigation, come over to England and carry out the interviews with Kate and Gerry and their friends. All those interviews will prove, yet again, that Kate and Gerry have nothing to hide.
“As for the supposed DNA testing, we cannot comment on yet more unsubstantiated rampant speculation in the Portuguese press. It is ridiculous to suggest that Madeleine’s blood was in the hire car because she was never in it. It was hired more than 20 days after she went missing, which means it was impossible for her to have ever been in it”
A friend of the McCanns says: “They were in no way involved in her disappearance, reports like this just add to their anguish. We would also point out that low copy DNA is under review by police forces in this country following the outcome of the Omagh bombing trial”
But it is a sign of police progress, right?
THE SUN front page: “Maddie blood ‘in hire car’”
“The tormented parents of Madeleine McCann reacted in fury last night to new claims that DNA evidence backs the theory they killed her”
KATE AGONY OVER ‘WILD’ DNA CLAIM – Blood specks behind sofa and in car ‘are Maddie’s”. The scent of death?
A ‘wild’ claim repeated in the Sun…
“Now it is being claimed new and ‘definitive’ results from Britain support the police theory that Maddie was killed in the apartment and her body moved in a car hired 25 days AFTER she vanished” – Claimed by Portuguese newspaper Correio Da Manha, from where the Sun gets its news
The Forensic Laboratory in Birmingham says: “Tests are still being carried out. No final report has been submitted to the Portuguese authorities”
DAILY STAR front page: “MADDIE – Blood in car is hers OFFICIAL”
“BLOOD IN CAR IS MADDIE’S OFFICIAL – ‘No doubts’ after test on Renault”
“The findings appear to support the police theory that Madeleine was accidentally killed in the apartment and her parents disposed of her body to mask their negligence”
Only…
“But they come from low-copy DNA analysis – a controversial technique based on just a few human cells which was recently branded unreliable by UK police. Last month, Omagh bomb suspect Sean Hoey walked free after a judge decided this type of testing was not at a sufficiently scientific level to be considered evidence. The Association of Chief Police Officers then announced it was suspending use of the technique in criminal inquiries. And the Crown Prosecution Service in England and Wales is reviewing a number of cases in which it was involved. That means the results in Madeleine’s case could probably never be used in court”
DAILY MAIL: “Did Maddie witnesses mistake this friend of the McCanns for Murat”
As Anorak reprotered yesterday, David Payne, one of the so-called Tapas 7,9 etc., looks not a lot unlike Robert Murat
Mr Murat’s lawyer Francisco Pagarete says: “Robert has always said the witnesses were mistaken. He was not there that night”
“MR MURAT’S girlfriend Michaela Walczuch was yesterday forced to deny claims she had been named as a police suspect in the case. The Portuguese newspaper 24 Horas claimed the mother-of-one, 34, had been made an ‘arguido’, or formal suspect, alongside Mr Murat and the McCanns. Lawyer Mr Pagarete insisted he had been misquoted by the tabloid when discussing her. Police refused to confirm or deny the report”
DAILY TELEGRAPH: “Murat’s girlfriend ‘is Madeleine McCann suspect’”
“The Portuguese newspaper 24 Horas reported that Michaela Walczuch, 32, was made an arguida after a witness claimed to have seen her with a small girl two days after four-year-old Madeleine went missing last May”
He is an arguido. She is an aguida
“A spokesman for the Portuguese police said yesterday that she had ‘no information’ about Miss Walczuch being made an official suspect”
Or not…
“ARE spin doctors taking over the world? - The rise and rise of the profession is not confined to politics: even the McCann family, campaigning to find their daughter Madeleine, sought the help of a former BBC journalist, Clarence Mitchell, to manage their publicity”
DAILY MIRROR: “ NEW LEAD ON MADDY”
British tourist Gail Cooper says she saw a “mystery man hanging around Madeleine McCann’s holiday flat just days before she vanished”. Like Paul Gordon did
Ms Cooper say: “He was horrible looking man , really creepy, unkempt and dirty. He definitely wasn’t Portuguese. He scared me”
Is there more than one creepy man in Praia da Luz? Another oddball?
Says Cooper: “I’m sure this man had something to do with Madeleine’s disappearance”
THE SCOTSMAN: “New claims on blood in McCann’s hire car
“Blood traces found in the hire car used by Kate and Gerry McCann were from their missing daughter Madeleine, according to a Portuguese newspaper”
IRISH INDEPENDENT: “Please don’t make this into another Maddy’”
Amy Fitzpatrick is missing. She is Irish. Her mother lives in Spain. Amy is 15. she went missing as she walked home on New Year’s Day from a friend’s house where she was babysitting in Calahonda near Mijas in southern Spain
“Outside Amy’s home, a gated development called Riviera Del Sol, just outside Fuengirola, children played in the shrubland, oblivious to the fact a teenager had vanished nearby without a trace. Some poked through shrubbery, others rode their bikes. It was a very different scene to that when Madeleine McCann disappeared last summer in Portugal, when locals and ex-pats joined the search to try and find the missing girl. But the family does not want a repeat of the publicity which has surrounded her case. ‘Please don’t turn this into a circus,’ a family spokesman said last night. ‘Don’t make it another Maddy. Let the police do their job’”
There is only one Madeleine McCann – Her story so far

One tactic is to discredit the forum by fueling articles with titles like: “Was Madeleine sacrificed in a satanic ritual?”

That subject has been broached here too, but just innuendoes and no real knowledge, just the Pagan Beltane bandied about.
Admin did post a very satirical view on the topic as he lives near the area suggested for the ritual, and regards the whole thing as total bollox
we get it all here!!!

Jo,
Yes, there are thousands of kids who get mistreated by their parents or guardians/foster parents, etc., but this is the first time (to my knowledge) that the parents have used the demise of the child for their own gains. I have personally never heard of this before, have you? It’s not only the cover-up (many have tried to cover up their involvement), but the financial gain they have apparently had at the expense of their daughter’s apparent death.
Being a mum, I feel for every little child who suffers. Not long ago, a 9 year old little girl was starved to death by her own parents. They are now in jail awaiting trial. Last week, an 18 months old was found dead, killed by the de-facto father. Last weekend, a 10 year old little girl was raped, bound and stabbed to death by her own father. All these are recent cases here in Australia. Don’t you think that I hurt when I hear those news? Of course I do.

It’s been debated before why somebody as smart and well positioned as CM would align himself so closely, when so many obvious doubts exist. It’s been said that he’s just in it for the money/books etc. Might it be that he is still working for Government – by conducting this whole MC campaign as a trial run for future manipulation of media/public opinion. Pretty much like new weapons testing in an actual battle situation!

Coz her parents are in the press all the time. Kate was photogenic, Gerry was good copy and they had an aspirational lifestyle coupled with pitiful endless torment and a mystery.

As far as I know, they were not in the press all the time prior to that extremely sad happening….have I missed something before they went to Portugal????

I find it interesting that the media hopefully peddling the Michaela’s an arguida line are so studiously overlooking Michaela’s lawyer’s comments in the Mail.
”The Portuguese newspaper 24 Horas claimed the mother-of-one was an ‘arguida’, or formal suspect, and said Mr Murat’s lawyer had named her as the fourth person to be accused by police in the case.
But lawyer Francisco Pagarete angrily denied the report and insisted he was misquoted by the tabloid.
He said he told the newspaper he believed that Miss Walczuch, 34, was unfairly perceived to be a suspect, but denied he ever said she had been formally named as an arguida.’
So the only source for this is a statement made by Michaela’s lawyer which he denies he ever made.
Oh well, it serves the useful purpose of diverting attention from the ructions at the Fund…

“I feel a Madeleine should be pulled on the whole lot.
Afterwards, there shouldn’t be a problem squeezing Kate in someone’s tyre well considering her slim physique we’re all so jealous of.”
great script
film starts with public opinion turned completely against them and death threats at deluge levels.
then goes through each one’s story of how they get their “medicine”

If ever Madeleine’s body is found and laid to rest somewhere (UK), I believe the outporing of grief will be as big as it was for Princess Diana when she died.
I think this little girl is in everybodies mind and she will not be forgotten. I hope that if the parents are found guilty, someone does something with regards to changing the UK Law to protect other children from neglect and abuse.

What about the OTHER children who meet a sick fate in our sick world?
Why more poor little Madeleine than any other child ?
….coz her parents are Gps????

I think Daisy realizes that if the McCann’s are guilty then she will in part have been to blame for the attempted cover up. Ignorance, wishful thinking, even pity can be wrong in certain circumstances.( I’m thinking 3rd reich) I admire daisy for her remark and believe she has serious doubts about the McCann’s. I would do the same, only I won’t have to, will I.
I also do not class pro-McCanns as good entertainment unless you look at them as straight men for our gags.

I think some emotional views may have been misdirected as people may just be thinking how they would feel if their own child was ‘disappeared’ and projecting their own standard of parenting towards the McCanns.
Its becoming much clearer that this sympathy/empathy call it what you will is undeserved. But is it part of a cover up? I don’t think so. People who are not involved with the McCanns directly cannot ‘cover up’
Going off on a tangent for the moment: empathising, it was put to me how people empathised with the parents, what I could never understand, as these people said they were true empaths, is how they never picked up on Madeleine’s fear and distress.
Didn’t necessarily mean the Mccann, just meant the days and weeks some people spend on here, but these threads are phenomenally busy

The McCanns are set to turn the story of their daughter into a film.
Kate and Gerry are in negotiations with the world’s largest talent and entertainment agency, IMG, in a deal which could be worth millions.
The money would help fund the search for Madeleine amid fears that the £1.2million raised from public donations will soon run out.
A source close to the McCanns said: “We would only get involved with something done sensitively and considerately.”
If a deal is done with IMG, it would involve using the same team that made Touching The Void, an award-winning drama-documentary about the fight for survival of two British climbers lost on a mountain.
WHAT THE FUCK???????????

The McCanns did the best they could as parents. They made up star charts to prevent the wayward navigation of their children at night. They gave them medicine, even when they were not sick, to prevent them from catching the flu while wandering around. They “reasonably chastisted” them every chance they got. And it is clear they did everything in their power to make them behave as adults. If anything, the McCanns might be guilty of showering too much love on their children. Perhaps they were too impatient and wanted them to grow up too fast. It wouldn’t surprise me if Gerry had been administering steroids, in addition to sedatives. He probably wanted them to become famous celebrity tennis players. But if you really want to know all about the mysterious McCanns, you will have to wait for the release of my documentary movie.

Yes, you are correct in the sense that everybody is so self-absorbed, so busy with their own life and problems, that perhaps if this case would have involved just adults, people would not care in the end and would forget pretty quickly. But because there is a child involved, who’s death (accidental or not) was used to allegedly line the parents’ pocket in a big way, I believe the reaction will be different.
Here in Australia we have the same issues. Rising petrol and food prices (on a weekly basis), and income staying basically the same. But after the recent election of new Prime Minister, the people made a decision: changed government. I have always wondered why in some countries it is not compulsory to vote. At least that way you know the whole population had a say in it and not just the ones that made the effort to get to the polling booths.

I don’t think it would be a good idea to make a movie of it.
What Madeleine will need once she is back home will be some kind of “back to normality”, which will be a difficult task anyway. 9 months are a significant long part of lifetime for a 4 year old child.
When this movie came out if ever produced she will probably attend primary school. She would then be back in the spotlight. This does not seem desirable for her.
