Madeleine McCann: Her Blood, Official Tabloid News And Michaela Walczuch Denies
MADDYWATCH - Anorak’s at-a-glance guide to press coverage of Madeleine McCann
DAILY EXPRESS front page: “MADELEINE: IT WAS HER BLOOD IN PARENTS’ HIRE CAR”
“New results sent to Portugal in the last few days show the blood samples could only belong to Madeleine, it was claimed” – claimed…
Portuguese newspaper Correio da Manha reports: “The definitive result of the tests leave no doubts for the Policia Judiciaria. The blood found in the McCanns’ car is that of Madeleine as well as those samples detected in the flat”
No doubt? So says a newspaper report that provides the basis to THE WORLD’S GREATEST NEWSPAPER’S lead story
Says McCanns’ spokesman Clarence Mitchell: “These reports are very distressing for Kate and Gerry, they are depressed that again wild rumour and speculation is being presented as fact. We wish Portuguese police would just get on with their investigation, come over to England and carry out the interviews with Kate and Gerry and their friends. All those interviews will prove, yet again, that Kate and Gerry have nothing to hide.
“As for the supposed DNA testing, we cannot comment on yet more unsubstantiated rampant speculation in the Portuguese press. It is ridiculous to suggest that Madeleine’s blood was in the hire car because she was never in it. It was hired more than 20 days after she went missing, which means it was impossible for her to have ever been in it”
A friend of the McCanns says: “They were in no way involved in her disappearance, reports like this just add to their anguish. We would also point out that low copy DNA is under review by police forces in this country following the outcome of the Omagh bombing trial”
But it is a sign of police progress, right?
THE SUN front page: “Maddie blood ‘in hire car’”
“The tormented parents of Madeleine McCann reacted in fury last night to new claims that DNA evidence backs the theory they killed her”
KATE AGONY OVER ‘WILD’ DNA CLAIM – Blood specks behind sofa and in car ‘are Maddie’s”. The scent of death?
A ‘wild’ claim repeated in the Sun…
“Now it is being claimed new and ‘definitive’ results from Britain support the police theory that Maddie was killed in the apartment and her body moved in a car hired 25 days AFTER she vanished” – Claimed by Portuguese newspaper Correio Da Manha, from where the Sun gets its news
The Forensic Laboratory in Birmingham says: “Tests are still being carried out. No final report has been submitted to the Portuguese authorities”
DAILY STAR front page: “MADDIE – Blood in car is hers OFFICIAL”
“BLOOD IN CAR IS MADDIE’S OFFICIAL – ‘No doubts’ after test on Renault”
“The findings appear to support the police theory that Madeleine was accidentally killed in the apartment and her parents disposed of her body to mask their negligence”
Only…
“But they come from low-copy DNA analysis – a controversial technique based on just a few human cells which was recently branded unreliable by UK police. Last month, Omagh bomb suspect Sean Hoey walked free after a judge decided this type of testing was not at a sufficiently scientific level to be considered evidence. The Association of Chief Police Officers then announced it was suspending use of the technique in criminal inquiries. And the Crown Prosecution Service in England and Wales is reviewing a number of cases in which it was involved. That means the results in Madeleine’s case could probably never be used in court”
DAILY MAIL: “Did Maddie witnesses mistake this friend of the McCanns for Murat”
As Anorak reprotered yesterday, David Payne, one of the so-called Tapas 7,9 etc., looks not a lot unlike Robert Murat
Mr Murat’s lawyer Francisco Pagarete says: “Robert has always said the witnesses were mistaken. He was not there that night”
“MR MURAT’S girlfriend Michaela Walczuch was yesterday forced to deny claims she had been named as a police suspect in the case. The Portuguese newspaper 24 Horas claimed the mother-of-one, 34, had been made an ‘arguido’, or formal suspect, alongside Mr Murat and the McCanns. Lawyer Mr Pagarete insisted he had been misquoted by the tabloid when discussing her. Police refused to confirm or deny the report”
DAILY TELEGRAPH: “Murat’s girlfriend ‘is Madeleine McCann suspect’”
“The Portuguese newspaper 24 Horas reported that Michaela Walczuch, 32, was made an arguida after a witness claimed to have seen her with a small girl two days after four-year-old Madeleine went missing last May”
He is an arguido. She is an aguida
“A spokesman for the Portuguese police said yesterday that she had ‘no information’ about Miss Walczuch being made an official suspect”
Or not…
“ARE spin doctors taking over the world? - The rise and rise of the profession is not confined to politics: even the McCann family, campaigning to find their daughter Madeleine, sought the help of a former BBC journalist, Clarence Mitchell, to manage their publicity”
DAILY MIRROR: “ NEW LEAD ON MADDY”
British tourist Gail Cooper says she saw a “mystery man hanging around Madeleine McCann’s holiday flat just days before she vanished”. Like Paul Gordon did
Ms Cooper say: “He was horrible looking man , really creepy, unkempt and dirty. He definitely wasn’t Portuguese. He scared me”
Is there more than one creepy man in Praia da Luz? Another oddball?
Says Cooper: “I’m sure this man had something to do with Madeleine’s disappearance”
THE SCOTSMAN: “New claims on blood in McCann’s hire car
“Blood traces found in the hire car used by Kate and Gerry McCann were from their missing daughter Madeleine, according to a Portuguese newspaper”
IRISH INDEPENDENT: “Please don’t make this into another Maddy’”
Amy Fitzpatrick is missing. She is Irish. Her mother lives in Spain. Amy is 15. she went missing as she walked home on New Year’s Day from a friend’s house where she was babysitting in Calahonda near Mijas in southern Spain
“Outside Amy’s home, a gated development called Riviera Del Sol, just outside Fuengirola, children played in the shrubland, oblivious to the fact a teenager had vanished nearby without a trace. Some poked through shrubbery, others rode their bikes. It was a very different scene to that when Madeleine McCann disappeared last summer in Portugal, when locals and ex-pats joined the search to try and find the missing girl. But the family does not want a repeat of the publicity which has surrounded her case. ‘Please don’t turn this into a circus,’ a family spokesman said last night. ‘Don’t make it another Maddy. Let the police do their job’”
There is only one Madeleine McCann – Her story so far

For later comers like me:
The Daily Express is saying that O’Brian wants to change his story to say he saw the bundleman.
IMO Jane’s story is falling through because her testimony conflicts with other witnesses in the tapas bar who say she never left the area. O’Brian could not have made his kiddie-check without seeing the bundleman, so therefore he has to update his story.
I THINK THEY SHOULD PROSECUTE BASED ON LOW COPY DNA, and hold the trial in Portugal.

Cuts from today’s Daily Mail article :
“”"”The film project will be discussed at a meeting of
the fund’s directors, including Gerry, tomorrow night at
the McCanns’ home in Rothley, Leicestershire.”"”
and
“”"”The meeting tomorrow follows the resignation of key
board members, including the fund’s spokeswoman Esther
McVey”"”"”
Is this really a “crisis” meeting given another name ?
And why is Dr G P attending a Director’s Meeting ?
He is not a Director as far as I am aware.

I think you’re right. The fleeing of some board members is huge, to them. It has obviously been discussed for a while within ( & to ‘friends’, as has been mentioned here)
Yes a definite diversionary tactic.

FBI statistics indicate that the father is generally more likely to kill a child than the mother. But if the mother failed to protect her child, failed to report the father’s action to the police, and perhaps even colluded in the act, helped alter the crime scene, remove/destroy the body, then she becomes an accessory to the homicide, and is chargeable equally in whatever offence the father can be charged with.
It’s interesting that the sniffer dogs reportedly picked up “the scent of death” on Kate. Imagine (because we are just speaking hypothetically) that Gerry “disciplines” Madeleine by striking her and then fatally injuring her. Kate is the one who handles the body initially–Gerrykins even says, audibly on a video, that Madeleine is “HER (Kate’s) daughter.” Kate is the one who reportedly tells her mum on the phone “it was an accident.”
You say two disturbed personalities cannot stay together long, but have Kate and Gerry really been together very long? It seems as though they’ve done a lot of moving around, vis-a-vis foreign hospitals (New Zealand, Holland, etc.), and each pregnancy in vitro has been “a project.” So they haven’t really been together normally, for a long time, have they?

Your vivid description of Maria saying farewell and moving on to pastures new and better has cheered me up again, thanks!
P.S.: When she recently informed you (after you asked why she always gives detailed notice of her activities when leaving) that not only one, but in fact TWO friends had visited her, I could almost feel how much you were giggling at that moment (and so did I).

Resignation of McVey and the Film…
When I look at the express article I really wonder if the talk about the Film is not Clarence’s way of burying bad news. In a day when there’s nothing else to talk about other than McVey’s and other Fund Board Members’ resignation, Clarence Mitchell comes out and starts announcing the possible film deals and book deals.
Result = the fact that fund board members - including McVey - have resigned from the fund becomes secondary to the media, because headline news is the film deals. Very common technique particularly used by political PR advisors…
If the idea about the film doesn’t really play well with public opinion, then tomorrow he’ll come out and say that nothing has been agreed, that they have been contacted, they need the money etc.
The final result is always the same ie move public attention away from the real issue ie FUND.

stevo;i believe mccann home in my opinion is probably a violent one i believe g is more likely one to have carried out attack.maybe k screams of they have taken her were totally correct maybe that was in reference to g and friend.sounds more like a mother now maybe shes quite to protect other children.the possibility of 2 physcos coming together and lasting is slim.but just because i believe he did it dosent mean i think she is any less guily

for stevo’s info.
the military standard to clean a hard drive (NOT FOR SECRET INFORMATION, FOR CONFIDENTIAL INFO ONLY)
The cryptographic way
Follow the following procedure:
Overwrite all your data with 0xFF.
Overwrite all your data again with 0×00.
Overwrite all your data with a good random or pseudorandom stream of data.
Repeat this process at least seven times–more if you like.
The smart way
Follow the cryptographic method outlined above. Then get out a sledgehammer and physically destroy the drive.
Drop the platter in a metal wastebasket, douse it in lighter fluid and set the thing on fire. Don’t stop until the platter is totally destroyed.
… All this may sound overly paranoid, but if your data really is that important it’s the only way to go. A new hard drive is $250 nowadays; the cost of important secrets getting out is easily a few orders of magnitude higher. Physical destruction of media is the only way to be fairly certain that the data is destroyed.
There is at least one military organization that decomissions drives by overwriting them a bunch of times. Then, they cut the drive in half with a saw and take each half to a different facility for disposal (which usually involves melting the drive).
seems like the military prefer my way of doing things.
They tend to not like people sticking platters under electron microscopes, after they’ve written all the little 0’s all over the drive.
like i always say,
beware of armchair experts.
they know not of what they speak.

thank you! Im sorry for the French, but lot of people in Europe dislike them… Prejudices are not good, in any sense. I’ve lived in Paris, and travelled to London quite often. Stevo - finally had a chance to have a look at your site and the intriguing bit about the mccann family always wearing the same clothes in the airport video + subsequent prictures that suggest that Madeleine was alive on May 3. Very intriguing. Some of us had previously suggested that Madeleine was always wearing the same set of clothing in the pictures of her in PDL (and this therefore suggested that she was only there for a small amount of time 1-2 days), but the fact that you spotted the clothes Gerry and the twin were also the same in the pictures and in the Faro airport video is most relevant IMO.
The reason why I find this detail to be so important is also because IMO this suggests that the event that led to Madeleine’s disappearance from PDL supposedly just a few days after she arrived was not premeditated. In a premeditated abduction scam (or planned homicide for example) the McCanns and the children would make sure that they’d be photographed with different sets of clothing (even if taken during the same day). This clearly didn’t happen, and when questions started being asked about photographs it was already too late to get Madeleine to change her clothes.
Therefore I am increasingly convinced that Madeleine died by accident sometime before the 3rd of May when she was reported missing. The Fenn statement should help clarify when was it that she heard Madeleine shouting… and if she was sure that it was indeed Madeleine.
