Madeleine McCann: Her Blood, Official Tabloid News And Michaela Walczuch Denies
MADDYWATCH - Anorak’s at-a-glance guide to press coverage of Madeleine McCann
DAILY EXPRESS front page: “MADELEINE: IT WAS HER BLOOD IN PARENTS’ HIRE CAR”
“New results sent to Portugal in the last few days show the blood samples could only belong to Madeleine, it was claimed” – claimed…
Portuguese newspaper Correio da Manha reports: “The definitive result of the tests leave no doubts for the Policia Judiciaria. The blood found in the McCanns’ car is that of Madeleine as well as those samples detected in the flat”
No doubt? So says a newspaper report that provides the basis to THE WORLD’S GREATEST NEWSPAPER’S lead story
Says McCanns’ spokesman Clarence Mitchell: “These reports are very distressing for Kate and Gerry, they are depressed that again wild rumour and speculation is being presented as fact. We wish Portuguese police would just get on with their investigation, come over to England and carry out the interviews with Kate and Gerry and their friends. All those interviews will prove, yet again, that Kate and Gerry have nothing to hide.
“As for the supposed DNA testing, we cannot comment on yet more unsubstantiated rampant speculation in the Portuguese press. It is ridiculous to suggest that Madeleine’s blood was in the hire car because she was never in it. It was hired more than 20 days after she went missing, which means it was impossible for her to have ever been in it”
A friend of the McCanns says: “They were in no way involved in her disappearance, reports like this just add to their anguish. We would also point out that low copy DNA is under review by police forces in this country following the outcome of the Omagh bombing trial”
But it is a sign of police progress, right?
THE SUN front page: “Maddie blood ‘in hire car’”
“The tormented parents of Madeleine McCann reacted in fury last night to new claims that DNA evidence backs the theory they killed her”
KATE AGONY OVER ‘WILD’ DNA CLAIM – Blood specks behind sofa and in car ‘are Maddie’s”. The scent of death?
A ‘wild’ claim repeated in the Sun…
“Now it is being claimed new and ‘definitive’ results from Britain support the police theory that Maddie was killed in the apartment and her body moved in a car hired 25 days AFTER she vanished” – Claimed by Portuguese newspaper Correio Da Manha, from where the Sun gets its news
The Forensic Laboratory in Birmingham says: “Tests are still being carried out. No final report has been submitted to the Portuguese authorities”
DAILY STAR front page: “MADDIE – Blood in car is hers OFFICIAL”
“BLOOD IN CAR IS MADDIE’S OFFICIAL – ‘No doubts’ after test on Renault”
“The findings appear to support the police theory that Madeleine was accidentally killed in the apartment and her parents disposed of her body to mask their negligence”
Only…
“But they come from low-copy DNA analysis – a controversial technique based on just a few human cells which was recently branded unreliable by UK police. Last month, Omagh bomb suspect Sean Hoey walked free after a judge decided this type of testing was not at a sufficiently scientific level to be considered evidence. The Association of Chief Police Officers then announced it was suspending use of the technique in criminal inquiries. And the Crown Prosecution Service in England and Wales is reviewing a number of cases in which it was involved. That means the results in Madeleine’s case could probably never be used in court”
DAILY MAIL: “Did Maddie witnesses mistake this friend of the McCanns for Murat”
As Anorak reprotered yesterday, David Payne, one of the so-called Tapas 7,9 etc., looks not a lot unlike Robert Murat
Mr Murat’s lawyer Francisco Pagarete says: “Robert has always said the witnesses were mistaken. He was not there that night”
“MR MURAT’S girlfriend Michaela Walczuch was yesterday forced to deny claims she had been named as a police suspect in the case. The Portuguese newspaper 24 Horas claimed the mother-of-one, 34, had been made an ‘arguido’, or formal suspect, alongside Mr Murat and the McCanns. Lawyer Mr Pagarete insisted he had been misquoted by the tabloid when discussing her. Police refused to confirm or deny the report”
DAILY TELEGRAPH: “Murat’s girlfriend ‘is Madeleine McCann suspect’”
“The Portuguese newspaper 24 Horas reported that Michaela Walczuch, 32, was made an arguida after a witness claimed to have seen her with a small girl two days after four-year-old Madeleine went missing last May”
He is an arguido. She is an aguida
“A spokesman for the Portuguese police said yesterday that she had ‘no information’ about Miss Walczuch being made an official suspect”
Or not…
“ARE spin doctors taking over the world? - The rise and rise of the profession is not confined to politics: even the McCann family, campaigning to find their daughter Madeleine, sought the help of a former BBC journalist, Clarence Mitchell, to manage their publicity”
DAILY MIRROR: “ NEW LEAD ON MADDY”
British tourist Gail Cooper says she saw a “mystery man hanging around Madeleine McCann’s holiday flat just days before she vanished”. Like Paul Gordon did
Ms Cooper say: “He was horrible looking man , really creepy, unkempt and dirty. He definitely wasn’t Portuguese. He scared me”
Is there more than one creepy man in Praia da Luz? Another oddball?
Says Cooper: “I’m sure this man had something to do with Madeleine’s disappearance”
THE SCOTSMAN: “New claims on blood in McCann’s hire car
“Blood traces found in the hire car used by Kate and Gerry McCann were from their missing daughter Madeleine, according to a Portuguese newspaper”
IRISH INDEPENDENT: “Please don’t make this into another Maddy’”
Amy Fitzpatrick is missing. She is Irish. Her mother lives in Spain. Amy is 15. she went missing as she walked home on New Year’s Day from a friend’s house where she was babysitting in Calahonda near Mijas in southern Spain
“Outside Amy’s home, a gated development called Riviera Del Sol, just outside Fuengirola, children played in the shrubland, oblivious to the fact a teenager had vanished nearby without a trace. Some poked through shrubbery, others rode their bikes. It was a very different scene to that when Madeleine McCann disappeared last summer in Portugal, when locals and ex-pats joined the search to try and find the missing girl. But the family does not want a repeat of the publicity which has surrounded her case. ‘Please don’t turn this into a circus,’ a family spokesman said last night. ‘Don’t make it another Maddy. Let the police do their job’”
There is only one Madeleine McCann – Her story so far

Most professional footballers in the premiership are no longer sole traders but are in fact off shore limited liability companies. Was a time that when they stopped playing they managed pubs lol.

You know, the paranoia sometimes runs rampant, and several times, posters have accused me and other Anorakers of “knowing” things about them, like their identities, education, professions, etc. when of course we don’t really care about that atall, except maybe to just stand in awe of Tony Bennett….
Questioning this line of “reasoning” often causes them to react by cursing, impugning your sanity, etc.–best to pay it no mind, or the minimum attention….

Yes it is Cheryl. I use this blog and you do - we all do. I’m entitled to ask you a question as much as you asked M&A a question.
Your question to M&A was so littered with posters it wasn’t possible to know what the F**K you were on about.

I thought they just didnt have enough evidence for a safe conviction and thats how it turned out!
I couldnt decide one way or the other, but was persuaded by my wife, who is prett good at picking out the guilty!
She said, right at the beginning of the Madeleinesaga, before I’d ‘noticed’ it, that ‘Theyve taken her’ was an odd thing to say - and she said she thought Kate and Gerry were involved - right back then.

The other downside is you yourself may be investigated or banged up by the authorities !
However the point remains that post 9/11 money laundering is taken very seriously indeed. The last charity I worked with refused to accept unverified cash donations over £250.

And your point is? There’s so many posters in that post by you - who or what is it that you’re having a go at now?

First of all Steveo it is not of your fucking business. Yes that’s possible now. I have some scans here of my old company stuff and had 2 shareholders. Unless that regulation has changed recently I don’t know. I knew you couldn’t be have a limited company on your own though or it defeats the object of why we have ltd co’s.

Clarence wrong on both counts.
A Trial with the Dr’s and Co. in the Dock…would raise awareness of the case.
And…Madeleine’s life ended at 3.99 years.

Jenkins always came across to me as a possible bully and have never been able to understand how his wife (a ? social worker) had stayed in the same house with all her own children and a foster child, if she believed him to be capable of such a thing. He found another woman, didn’the, whilst he was in jail??? Of interest, I think I remember that the main evidence for his initial conviction was microscopic spatters of blood on his sweater which his defence claimed were from attempts at resuscitation.
I have necer been able to understand how Billy Jo found her way into their care. Strange.

Correct.
Or instigate a money laundering investigation by annonymously transferring a large sum of cash (say £10,000) into a companies bank account preferably from a country like Mexico. Then phone the authorities with a tip off.
I am not advising anyone to do this in fact I would advise NOT doing it, however it is an example of something that would trigger an ivestigation.

It is believed that IMG, the firm behind the award-winning drama-documentary Touching The Void, made the initial approach.
believed by who i wonder?
this isn’t clarence saying IMG made the approach, which i think he would have done if they had.
sounds like a lie to me.
i can see it turning out team mccan made the first approach.
i doubt IMG would have dared, because of the bad publicity if they were told to get fucked.

The ‘Daily Mail’ says today that Esther McVey and other director(s) (plural) of the Trust Fund have resigned.
Not according to the ‘Find Madeleine Fund’ Trust website, which still says:
“The Fund is following best practice governance procedures as set out in the Good Governance Code for the Voluntary and Community Sector. The directors of the company are Peter Hubner, Brian Kennedy, John McCann, Michael Linnett, Esther McVey, Doug Skehan and Philip Tomlinson”.
I wonder who’ll be child-minding the children whilst the Rothley meeting is held tomorrow?
Of course, the private Trust being independent of the McCannns, the meeting is being held…at their home!
No doubt the Fund’s website will be changed on Thursday morning.
The phrase ‘rats leaving a sinking ship’ has sprung to mind

I like how Ms. Cooper in the Daily Mirror described the creepy skulker: “He definitely wasn’t Portuguese.”
but Murat is HALF Portuguese, right?
and Dr. Payne, who is not Portuguese at all, i don’t believe, looks WAY creepier than Murat!
Fun, fun, fun, as you say.

Fun? FUN? This man is the spokesman for parents suspected of at the minimum disposing of their childs body - the child is missing, presumed by many to be dead at the hands of evil paedos after suffering god alone knows what and he talks of FUN!!
Jesus Christ there must be some pro-mccanns beginning to wonder what it is they have been supporting!

I closed my last LTD in 2005 shortly before I emigrated. At that time you had to have more than one shareholder and had to have at least 1 director and a company secretary.
As for a full scale audit are you thinking Inland Revenue or HM Customs & Excise?

CLARENCE ADMITS:
McScums snickering at prospect of movie
Movie deal was set BEFORE Christmas: was Madeleine not expected on their doorstep?
ADMITS moneygrabbing by whining: the papers are making money and we wanna make money too…after all, those pariahs are living from it.
Using Ben Affleck who clearly has more soul and compassion in his pinky toe then Kate has in her entire psycho anorexia ridden, corpse smelling body.
The parents of Madeleine McCann are considering giving the go-ahead to a film about their missing daughter following an approach by a major entertainment firm.
The couple’s spokesman, Clarence Mitchell, confirmed that a meeting with the agency IMG took place last month but he added that Gerry and Kate McCann did not attend and nothing has yet been agreed.
It is believed that IMG, the firm behind the award-winning drama-documentary Touching The Void, made the initial approach.
A resulting meeting in mid-December discussed the possibility of making the story of Madeleine - who vanished from her family’s Praia da Luz holiday apartment in May - into either a film or a TV drama.

We still have hope, say the McCanns
Mr Mitchell said a film would be considered only if the McCanns believed it would help raise awareness of the case or if it could help fund the search for the missing four-year-old.
The spokesman would not speculate on whether Gerry and Kate would play themselves in any movie or whether their roles would be played by celebrity actors.
Mr Mitchell said: “While it may be hugely entertaining and a bit of fun to think of cast lists, we are a million miles away from that sort of thing.”
The possibility of a film or television project is expected to be discussed further when directors of the Madeleine Fund meet later this week.
Mr and Mrs McCann were aware of the meeting but did not attend in person. Instead, Mr Mitchell and another representative of the McCanns met IMG at the firm’s London offices.
Mr Mitchell said it was just one of many approaches that have been made by media companies.
He said: “We have only had one very tentative discussion with IMG. It may or may not happen.
“If we feel any particular proposal in the media has validity in helping us find Madeleine, we are happy to discuss it.”
He added: “The media are making money out of the situation themselves and we feel it is only fair and right that some aspect of that should come to the fund to help find Madeleine.
“In this case we have had one meeting before Christmas. It was between myself, one other person and representatives from IMG.”
Mr Mitchell said Mr and Mrs McCann are routinely made aware of all proposals that could help raise the profile of the search for their missing daughter or raise funds to assist in finding her.
But he stressed that nothing had been agreed with IMG. There are no plans for any further meetings at this stage. The ball is in our court to see if we want to go forward.”
Last year, Ben Affleck postponed indefinitely the release of Gone Baby Gone, his first movie as a director, due to similarities between the McCann case and his fictional tale of Amanda McCready, a four-year-old who is kidnapped from her bed after her parents leave her by herself.
The actress who plays the missing girl in the film bears a close resemblance to Madeleine McCann, and also shares her first name.

I agree it’s laughable, but with human rights now all the rage (and remember that live murderers enjoy them, but dead victims do not), CM is paving the way for this argument to be made every time he wails publicly about the McCanns “great distress.”
Gilbert & Sullivan, if still alive, could compose such a great operetta:
“I know they’re bloody guilty,
but isn’t it a pity
to put two lovely doctors in the brig?
They want to make a movie
About their daughter’s drama
But then some Anorakers soaked them
With the blood of pigs!
Now, isn’t that a pity?
Isn’t that bad luck?
But that’s what you get
When you roll in media muck!

Yes. It was about tiny particles of blood on his jacket which could have been expelled from her lugs as he held her after he returned and found her battered.
A drup crazed itinerent had been known to be in the area at the time but they never caught him and it was ’sledgehammer’ evidence (i.e ignored!).
I saw a ‘rough justice’ programme and it sure looked like he’d been the easy target.

yes, you can go to the police with proof of fraud.
if the proof is real, i think they’ll have to order an external audit.
