“Riddled with guilt, the distraught” Gerry will tell all to the Mirror. Well, not to the Mirror, rather to Vanity Fair magazine. Journalist Judy Bachrach spoke with Gerry in October near the family home in Rothley, Leicestershire
And the interview is not with Gerry and Kate. Only Gerry McCann was interviewed, says the Mail. Kate McCann’s words come via friends and family
Pages 4 and 5: “I WISH”.
It reads very much like a prayer, or a camping speech by Barack Obama. Says Gerry McCann:
“I wish I hadn’t gone to the tapas bar.
“I wish I’d have stayed in the apartment that night
“I wish I’d stayed in the room when I checked on her five minutes longer”
A wish…
Says Gerry McCann: “”At the time we did it, it was not irresponsible. Of course we feel guilty about not having been there and that is just something we have to deal with for the rest of our lives. You are not asking anything we don’t think about on a daily basis. We live this 24 hours a day”
Gerry says his world went “all black, with maybe tiny points of light” in the days after Madeleine vanished. “We can’t cry our eyes out every day because that’s not helping. So after three days I picked myself up…quicker than Kate could. Grief washes over you. It’s like a big wave, mostly I was able to beat it back”
And the Madeleine ‘Look into my eyes’ campaign? Says Gerry: “We thought it was possible this could hurt her. Her abductor might do something to her eye. But in marketing terms it was a good ploy”
THE SUN: “Life’s bleak but I cling to hope”
Says Gerry McCann: “People can support you in your darkest hours and in our case the darkest hour was of course when Madeleine went missing. Now it is just bleak”
In next month’s Vanity Fair: “The interview with Gerry came as it emerged GORDON BROWN has snubbed the McCanns’ request for a meeting; furious Kate EXPLODED when cops first told her she was a suspect; and family spokesman Clarence Mitchell has given a university SPEECH on the topic Missing Maddie McCann — the perfect PR campaign
“A pal of the McCanns said Kate, 39, believes the family were STALKED by Maddie’s kidnapper in the days before she went missing”. WOW

Will he tell all? Mr McCann tells Vanity Fair’s Judy Bachrach: “I can’t talk to you about the details of what happened. I live under threat from the Portuguese - if I do talk - of two years’ imprisonment”

About the dogs and the tile! And about the blood …
Dogs can smell human remains buried ten feet down in soil! They certainly can find it under a tile or a carpet. They do not respond to the smell of garbage–they are trained to only find human remains, or they don’t get a reward.
The floor tile in 5A was wood parquet — fitted together in a sort of tongue and groove way, it pops right up with a little prying.
Must have been a lot of blood though … indicates a it was done by a person with no conscience, empathy. Or could be someone with a drug or alcohol problem which lessens the ability to keep calm under stress.
If this was Dr. Kate McCann, I would say based on her behavior since that date that she feels no remorse. In her own words she is innocent, at peace with God, and sleeps very well.

Next, they did dine at Chaplins (another restaurant/bar) that is a long, long way from the appartment on the 2nd may. It was here that the Ocean complex people eventually found them on the night of the 2nd may (maddy disappeared on the 3rd)when Mrs Fell a resident had heared Maddy crying for almost two hours and reported it.
It is this night that the police are focusing on as my source tells me the police believe it’s this night Maddy died.
if that bit’s true it looks like a murder while pissed and angry to me.

I can see why you decided not to go public with that!
The UK authorities are riddled with people who do not look after their children. The UK has always been a hot bed for child neglect and fights against UN charters for children and any legislative powers from Europe.
There but for the grace of god go I - say the well off media types. This is why they do not condemn the McCanns. Also of course because Gerry is a consultant and they are gods in the NHS - and of course Gerry has political connections.
Madeleine wasnt abducted, at least not whilst she was alive and not by stranger.

If the blood specks found in the apartment (under that famous tile) really belonged to Madeleine McCann and if they’d been washed off with water and cleaning products, yet the apartment had not been cleaned since Madeleine was reported missing… only the McCanns could have washed off the blood.
Is this a viable route of investigation?

There is a BIG difference between body fluids and bodily fluids..Maddys was supposidly found with some mix of ‘quote’ northern European male.
Also i’m forgetting…the source has also said Murat did know them as he had dined with them at Chaplins restaurant days previous and Kate had been with him at his house when she and Gerry fell out….big argument and she left and went to Murats.
This info is all circulating at the moment, can’t confirm if it’s true or not but it’s certainly something to chew over..”

I was busy writing my post (My English is a bit painful as it is not my mother tongue) when you wrote your message. “Secret theory” is a big word. You might be disappointed. I’ll give you my thinking now because I don’t want to give it too much importance by waiting.
It is just a guess about our involvment :
We all have in common, most of us to be indignant at the thought that a child is a victim of her parents, with nobody to understand and defend her against her parents, who might well get away with that (they are even rewarded for it with money, attention, ), and some fiercely fighting the idea that some parents might not be good parents, and be responsible at all of any bad treatment towards the child.
Is it the child in us who feels the loneliness and the torment of the little girl? Our revolt against what some children have to endure might be what makes us react mainly, and might have something to do with our experiences as a child. One who hasn’t been submitted early to double talk isn’t really able to spot it clearly.
