As a guess, I would say Islam. Why? When there were big arguments about the veil being allowed or not in schools run by the state, which by law must be lay and not allow religious symbols, the R. C church was on the side of Islamic religion, which inflamed the feminists, who saw mandatory veil for girls as a sign of submission apart from the religious meaning.
