Of course she was abducted. Look at all the evidence. Why do people persist in suggesting an accident? We have eye-witness accounts of the abductor. And then - if that wasn’t enough - we had the bed imprint evidence. in view of the fund need ing loads of cash to allow us to carry on ‘finding’ madeleine, we have now decided to auction off the nightclothes that she was wearing the day before the abduction.
we understand how people may say we’re just ‘in it for the money’, but we must point out that they are not ‘pyjamas’ as such, merely night attire, which is of course totally different and in no way heartless, callous or mercenary.

At last a poster who understands and is prepared to stand up for justice. But I would suggest that they are guilty of just one thing. Guilty of being naive. Naive in wearing their hearts on their sleeves and allowing us all to know all their thoughts and feelings. But they did it with the best reason in the world. To keep awareness raised so that they could continue to help remind everyone that M was still missing. And that money was needed to find her.

I think a basic, “it was like our back garden” or “everyone has to eat” would suffice.
( I suppose this is only fair is someone makes fun of the “fence sitters” as well? It is interesting to try to use the basic arguments of others…It would be more interesting if we were being serious, but I think everyone does care about Madeleine (obviously, people disagree about her parents), and this place is at each other’s necks so often…I think a hint of fun is okay).
