Madeleine McCann: Kelsey Lynn Kudia For Hire, Paris Hilton And Propaganda
MADDYWATCH - Anorak’s at-a-glance guide to press coverage of Madeleine McCann
THE SUN front page: “’MADDIE’ FOR HIRE”
Tonight Kelsey Lynn Kudia is Madeleine McCann. Kelsey looks likes Madeleine McCann. She’s not in Morocco. She;s nopt Bouchra Benaissa. She not in Malta. But for the right fee she might be. Kelsey is a working Madeleine McCann double
Pages 4 and 5: “The boss of a lookalike agency who hopes to make a fortune out of a little Madeleine McCann double said last night: ‘It’s not sinister – it’s entertainment’. Shona Adams reckons three-year-old Kelsey Lynn Kudla’s similarity to missing Maddie could earn her £9MILLION for starring in a proposed feature film about the vanished tot”
Well, someone would have to play the missing child, unless she is found alive and well…
Says Shona, owner of London’s Juliet Adams Model Agency: “If the film about Madeleine is ever made, then the world is Kelsey’s oyster. If someone like Steven Spielberg made it, she could make £9million easily – of which I’d take 20 per cent. She will become a name in her own right and make it as a child model or actress because she’s got her foot in the door”
Just when you thought it was safe to holiday in Portugal…Dum-dum…
Of course, great acting careers have begun with less. Didn’t Tom Hanks play the baby in a Cry In The Dark?
She continues: “And from there, her earning potential is limitless. It’s not sinister. And if the McCanns are upset, there’s nothing they can do because it’s a democracy. I wouldn’t back away from it because, if a film is being made, then it’s entertainment”
Kate and Gerry McCann are “doctors”.
Says Shona: “I wouldn’t put Kelsey in a position of doing anything bad taste”
SLAP IN FACE FOR McCANNS: Sun columnist Lorraine Kelly says: “It makes you recoil to think a lookalike agency would have a Madeleine on their books alongside someone who looks like Jack Nicholson or Paris Hilton”
Whatever could she mean? Neither Nicolson nor Hilton were available to defend themselves…
DAILY EXPRESS: “The Madeleine lookalike on hire for £600 an hour”
Do you want to get your resort or country in the papers? Hire Kelsey to be a “Madeleine” and attract the world’s media to your locale as she is spotted time and time again
Kelsey is American
“PARENTS trying to ‘distract’ police
A source “close to the official police” investigation says: “Who do the McCanns think they are? The discovery of new witnesses in the last few weeks lead the authorities to believe they are at war with a gigantic propaganda machine. The McCanns have some very powerful people on their side - millionaires, celebrities, even politicians”
Says Robert Murat’s lawyer: “Robert Murat does not have millionaires supporting him, nor campaign funds. “He just wants to see his name cleared in this case as he has nothing to do with Madeleine’s disappearance, despite every day people emerging trying to forcibly incriminate him”
DAILY STAR front page: “MADDIE – The £600 an hour lookalike”
Page 7: “MADDIE DOUBLE FOR HIRE”
“A sick mother is touting her daughter as a £600-an-hour Madeleine McCann lookalike,” says the paper, amid adverts for “adult fantasies”, “nasty sex” and FILTH”
She is an “unnamed American girl” - see the Sun above
Says Clarence Mitchell: “This is an offensive way to make money out of Madeleine’s disappearance. This is deeply offensive to parents Kate and Gerry”
MADDIE: THE MOVIE: “Yesterday, Channel 4’s head of documentaries Angus Macqueen said he had attended a meeting with the McCanns’ representatives to discuss a movie. He tells us: “Of course we are interested in making a film about this compelling story. We have a history of making quality films about crime matters”
That’s entertainment: “Meanwhile, producers of US psychic TV show Haunting Evidence have been in Praia da Luz planning their own show about Madeleine’s disappearance”
DAILY MAIL: “McCanns are ready to sack detective agency”
Says a source: “We will carry on the search for Madeleine, but not necessarily with Metodo 3. We are stuck with them to the end of the contracted period. The question of whether it is renewed or not has still to be decided. They have faced not having their contract renewed every since Francisco shot his mouth off… It was made clear what they were doing was foolish and unhelpful”
DAILY TELEGRAPH: “US TV psychics join hunt for Madeleine McCann”
“Three clairvoyants from the hit show will travel to Praia da Luz in a bid to find the missing four-year-old”
Come in Madeleine…
Kate and Gerry McCanns have received “1,500” offers from psychics hoping to find Madeleine. Like the Psychic Barber…
Says Clarence Mitchell: “We did receive an offer and chose on this occasion not to respond. We are grateful for any assistance they bring to bear in the hunt for finding Madeleine. We thank them for their concern and any demonstrably checkable fact is passed on to the police or the private detective agency”
Tune and pick up into Madeleine on the telly…

Daisy - if I abused you in my posts it was not intentional.
Please accept my unconditional apologies - I do not agree with you on all points, but I understand your statements and respect your right to make them.

Also, the reality of the innocent until proven guilty concept is that it doesn’t always apply and isn’t always seen to apply.
For instance, in civil cases, the burden of proof is on the plaintiff. “proof” can mean guilty or innocent - depending on the situation of the lawsuit.
Not everything is black and white in law and this is why Daisy get’s leaped all over for banging on about it like it’s something set in stone. It isn’t.

Very correct! and this is why we are all enraged, outraged: its because they WONT say anything, arguidos or not….
——————————————
Actually, I’m more outraged because they do say things, at very great length, notwithstanding the fact that they are arguidos.
The Vanity Fair article is an excellent example.
They just shut up whenever someone asks them a harder question than, say, what’s 2 and 2…

Also, contamination of the scene.
_______________________
Daisy, I don’t care whether you agree with me or not. My quote is “agreement is not a prerequisite of debate”.
But you frequently litter your intelligent posts with nonsensical comments like that one. You tell us all we have no idea what happened etc. etc. but then you don’t either - therefore, you can’t make such a definitive comment as that without knowing. Can you?
Assuming a parquet floor tile had blood seep through the cracks and it was under the sofa, a herd of elephants could have gone through that apartment but it wouldn’t contaminate anything. For some bizarre reason, pro McCanners keep banging on about contamination with no basis for it at all.
——
Stevo,
Sorry, but I’m basing that remark about contamination from a published interview I read of an ex Scotland Yard Inspector, not from what the McCanns might be saying. I think it has been established that the scene was not secured by the PJ until much later and several people came and went from that apartment that night. Was there any blood? I don’t know that for sure. Was it Maddie’s? Could she have hurt herself accidentally whilst staying in PDL and like any normal housewife, the mother would have cleaned the bits of blood off the floor? You answer me.

Interesting point and you made me think why the Sun newspaper has been pro-McCann. Now I think I know why.
Remember the Hillsborough disaster?
The Sun newspaper basically claimed that it was all the fault of the scousers. The end result was the Sun newspaper became the subject of a boycott in Liverpool. I wonder if this is their way of trying to repair that problem which never really went away?

Of course its not really possible to generalise. But he was generalising so I thought I was justified to do so, but with an opposite generalisation!
Actually I had a girlfriend once (well, a one nighter actually!) and she was more than warm!

If you are genuine about wanting to know what may have happened
to your missing daughter, and wanted to help all you can in finding
her…..you help Police as much as is humanly possible. Sod the Lawyers
advice……daughter’s needs and situation are more important.
———————————————————————————————-
Oh is that right? You would know better than anyone I guess? So enlighten us all as to what the McCanns have done that has hindered the Polices search?
——————————————————
If innocent why not do the lie detector thing? It would allow the PJ to concentrate their efforts, it wouldn’t put the investigation back to square one, the blood/cadaver avenue could still be valid but the PJ would be able to ( largely) eliminate K&G. and think about who else might have been responsible.
The constant claim that they were prepared to return at any time to answer questions which now seems to have alledgedly changed to refusing to go back unless arquido status is removed.
I don’t think either of the above are helpful.

The “innocent until proven guilty” concept is dividing people in this case because it makes us think about what it actually means. Clearly as I keep saying, Rhys Jones’ killer is still at large so that person is “innocent” until he/she has been caught and tried. It’s stupid to bang on about innocent until proven guilty as a legal concept and on the other hand realise that of course someone is guilty. Someone - whoever it may be is GUILTY of making Madeleine disappear. Nobody is innocent of that. Understanding a legal concept versus reality of the situation is very important and the arguments are because people don’t understand it properly.

Sorry to interfere, but there is the distance from the apartment to ‘The Tapas’, Gerry greatly underestimated the distance. I accept that it could be defended as an ‘underestimate’ but it might be argued that it was intended to reduce the negative impact of stating the actual distance?
Also the references to ’sedation’ by Gerry, I’m sure he would have had the children tested immediately if he had really thought that they had been sedated by a stranger.
That’s just two, I dont want to interfere too much.

Ian,
The police can go about their business on the assumption that you’re guilty until proven innocent. That is their job.
But by convention one’s personal standing, both in a court of law and in society at large, is surely that you are innocent until proven guilty.
Daisy is right to offer this and shouldn’t be abused for it. For that matte, she shouldn’t be abused even if she is a complete nincompook and is wrong.

Here’s a link to another apartment at Ocean Club. It’s definitely a wood floor in the living room as you can see on these photos. Also, the fridge freezers are huge in some of them - easily capable of holding a toddler of under 3ft long.

So presumably Kate is either incapable of reining her parents in, or has come to the same conclusion as her parents.
The ructions at the Fund suggest that not all is well, financially.
At the risk of putting everyone to sleep, I noted yesterday that the company is making ‘annual payments’ to the McCanns and thus has potentially a large liability in respect of tax which should have been deducted.
Kate has no independent income at present, which is not a good position to be in if your spouse’s family appear to be fitting you up for the manslaughter of a small child, committed in an incandescent rage.
No wonder the Healeys are worried…

I suspect accidental too, but an accident is the result of the neglect - and if it was an accident, they’d be responsbile for the fraud of the century!
I know its very hard to believe, but there is so much that happens in the world which is hard to believe - who’d have believed the Shipman story, or the Soham murders? I find it utterly incredible that anyone could live with such crimes, yet they do!

I know it’s tough for everyone to be on the same page with this case and catch up with all the info but I think if you look on the RTP video, you can see it is a typical parquet style wood floor.
I also have photos of other apartments in the Ocean Club complex and the rooms have the wood flooring.
I know what you mean though - the bedroom looks to be a ceramic style floor. I think perhaps the living rooms are more plush.
