Madeleine McCann: Kelsey Lynn Kudia For Hire, Paris Hilton And Propaganda
MADDYWATCH - Anorak’s at-a-glance guide to press coverage of Madeleine McCann
THE SUN front page: “’MADDIE’ FOR HIRE”
Tonight Kelsey Lynn Kudia is Madeleine McCann. Kelsey looks likes Madeleine McCann. She’s not in Morocco. She;s nopt Bouchra Benaissa. She not in Malta. But for the right fee she might be. Kelsey is a working Madeleine McCann double
Pages 4 and 5: “The boss of a lookalike agency who hopes to make a fortune out of a little Madeleine McCann double said last night: ‘It’s not sinister – it’s entertainment’. Shona Adams reckons three-year-old Kelsey Lynn Kudla’s similarity to missing Maddie could earn her £9MILLION for starring in a proposed feature film about the vanished tot”
Well, someone would have to play the missing child, unless she is found alive and well…
Says Shona, owner of London’s Juliet Adams Model Agency: “If the film about Madeleine is ever made, then the world is Kelsey’s oyster. If someone like Steven Spielberg made it, she could make £9million easily – of which I’d take 20 per cent. She will become a name in her own right and make it as a child model or actress because she’s got her foot in the door”
Just when you thought it was safe to holiday in Portugal…Dum-dum…
Of course, great acting careers have begun with less. Didn’t Tom Hanks play the baby in a Cry In The Dark?
She continues: “And from there, her earning potential is limitless. It’s not sinister. And if the McCanns are upset, there’s nothing they can do because it’s a democracy. I wouldn’t back away from it because, if a film is being made, then it’s entertainment”
Kate and Gerry McCann are “doctors”.
Says Shona: “I wouldn’t put Kelsey in a position of doing anything bad taste”
SLAP IN FACE FOR McCANNS: Sun columnist Lorraine Kelly says: “It makes you recoil to think a lookalike agency would have a Madeleine on their books alongside someone who looks like Jack Nicholson or Paris Hilton”
Whatever could she mean? Neither Nicolson nor Hilton were available to defend themselves…
DAILY EXPRESS: “The Madeleine lookalike on hire for £600 an hour”
Do you want to get your resort or country in the papers? Hire Kelsey to be a “Madeleine” and attract the world’s media to your locale as she is spotted time and time again
Kelsey is American
“PARENTS trying to ‘distract’ police
A source “close to the official police” investigation says: “Who do the McCanns think they are? The discovery of new witnesses in the last few weeks lead the authorities to believe they are at war with a gigantic propaganda machine. The McCanns have some very powerful people on their side - millionaires, celebrities, even politicians”
Says Robert Murat’s lawyer: “Robert Murat does not have millionaires supporting him, nor campaign funds. “He just wants to see his name cleared in this case as he has nothing to do with Madeleine’s disappearance, despite every day people emerging trying to forcibly incriminate him”
DAILY STAR front page: “MADDIE – The £600 an hour lookalike”
Page 7: “MADDIE DOUBLE FOR HIRE”
“A sick mother is touting her daughter as a £600-an-hour Madeleine McCann lookalike,” says the paper, amid adverts for “adult fantasies”, “nasty sex” and FILTH”
She is an “unnamed American girl” - see the Sun above
Says Clarence Mitchell: “This is an offensive way to make money out of Madeleine’s disappearance. This is deeply offensive to parents Kate and Gerry”
MADDIE: THE MOVIE: “Yesterday, Channel 4’s head of documentaries Angus Macqueen said he had attended a meeting with the McCanns’ representatives to discuss a movie. He tells us: “Of course we are interested in making a film about this compelling story. We have a history of making quality films about crime matters”
That’s entertainment: “Meanwhile, producers of US psychic TV show Haunting Evidence have been in Praia da Luz planning their own show about Madeleine’s disappearance”
DAILY MAIL: “McCanns are ready to sack detective agency”
Says a source: “We will carry on the search for Madeleine, but not necessarily with Metodo 3. We are stuck with them to the end of the contracted period. The question of whether it is renewed or not has still to be decided. They have faced not having their contract renewed every since Francisco shot his mouth off… It was made clear what they were doing was foolish and unhelpful”
DAILY TELEGRAPH: “US TV psychics join hunt for Madeleine McCann”
“Three clairvoyants from the hit show will travel to Praia da Luz in a bid to find the missing four-year-old”
Come in Madeleine…
Kate and Gerry McCanns have received “1,500” offers from psychics hoping to find Madeleine. Like the Psychic Barber…
Says Clarence Mitchell: “We did receive an offer and chose on this occasion not to respond. We are grateful for any assistance they bring to bear in the hunt for finding Madeleine. We thank them for their concern and any demonstrably checkable fact is passed on to the police or the private detective agency”
Tune and pick up into Madeleine on the telly…

Miss Match, was she a single parent? I’m assuming not with the pregnancy, although she could find love during a time of grief… But, I’m wondering what happened to the father? If they suspected he knew, etc.

Little wonder that they take such pains to quote in the VF article about Corner
talking about Dr K’s “worries” about the phantom.
They know their Timeline sucks.

Ooooohhhh, it’s good to be back everyone! I read Anorak most days but just didn’t have anything really worth contributing (and for a while, it seemed to be a nutter magnet).

Thank for the clarification - bottom line is, not guilty doesnt mean innocent - in law.
So using it to argue we shouldnt debate or assume the McCanns arent guilty is inappropriate.

652 - Matt, I’ve just been reading about the case on the internet again. The Italian mother became a celebrity here in Italy, went on talk shows, pleading for the killer to turn himself in and such like. Oh, whilst waiting for the trial she got pregnant again, had another child and she revealed the pregnancy on a talk show. All this sounds familiar doesn’t it! She got 30 years in the end. Wonder if K and G are following the same script.

Yep exactly. But you know what? He’s the only bloke I know who can talk so much yet say nothing. It’s drivel to be honest.

Indeed I did! Its the same principle - come on, what are the chances? Even if they were carefully watched and monitored, why go in just before Gerries appointed time and he couldnt get in after Gerry had entered he’d have had to break in somehow.
Certainly couldnt have been a chance opportunity!
It really is’nt credible.

644 Miss Match says (January 11th, 2008 at 5:29 pm):
“…my dentist asked me about this case [Madeleine], possibly because I am British. He said that it is similar to a recent case in Italy. A mother battered her toddler to death, said she went out, leaving him sleeping in the house, whilst she took the other child to the bus stop and them claimed that someone had entered the house, which was open by the way, she claimed, and killed her child. She just got convicted for killing the child. The Italian mother was on TV always perfectly presented and groomed and never looked distressed”.
REPLY: Thank you, Miss Match, it is the last sentence in your report that is so telling. And the McCanns’ excuse was: “The police advised us not to show too much emotion, in case it gratified the abductor”. Yeah, right!
As in: “Kate, when we go on telly in half-an-hour, hold Cuddle Cat up to your face, scrunch up your face a bit, but don’t break down in tears in case the abductor is watching”

Quite simply I meant that there si nothing to connect them with the DNA is there?
But its the 5 minute window which has finished them off. If it were longer, abductors would have time to kill and clean, for example.
Get it?

‘Using the conditional and subjunctive tenses – very handy to avoid libel suits –’
Perhaps Anorak should enrol us all in a course on these handy grammatical devices…

“”"eight minutes”"”" timeframe
Ian will love that one.

Some info about the child killed in Italy which has similarities to the Madeleine McCann case:
Since three-year-old Samuele Lorenzi was found battered to death in his parents’ bed in a tranquil Alpine village in January, they have known for sure who was responsible. Within days of the crime the media had given them the pointers they needed, drip-feeding details provided by the investigators in Cogne, near the French-Italian Alpine border. Using the conditional and subjunctive tenses – very handy to avoid libel suits – they made it clear that Samuele’s mother, 31-year-old Anna Maria Franzoni, was the killer.
She had left the child alone for eight minutes as she accompanied his elder brother down the hill to the school bus. The possibility of a psychopath, an outsider or a local being the killer were dismissed because of the brief time frame. Much was made of blood spots on the mother’s pyjamas and slippers….. Edit

Dr. Watson Says:

There is no such concept as “innocent” in law. There is “not guilty”, which means
“could not be proven guilty beyond doubt”.

No.
Dr Watson is misrepresenting what Lord Justice Judge said.
What he did say, in the context of the Trupti Patel case was:
‘…Lest anyone seek to read anything deeper into that observation, and imply that we are commenting one way or another on the verdict, we emphasise that that is all that is ever decided by a “not guilty” verdict. Nowadays, we read and hear much about a new concept, “found innocent”: that is not a verdict known to the law.’

Just before Christmas, PeterMac suggested in a posting that those who were concerned should write to the solicitors and auditors of the Madeleine Fund about the admission by Metodo3 that they had been lying, that they did not know where MM was, and that they had no real hope of getting her back by Christmas.
The point of writing was to ask the solicitors and auditors of the “Madeleine Fund - Leaving No Stone Unturned” to confirm that they will be taking immediatge steps on behalf of the Directors to cancel the contract and recover all the money which has been paid the private detective agency.
This evening I have received and e-mail reply from:
BATES WELLS & BRAITHWAITE, SOLICITORS for said Fund:
9 January 2008
Dear Madam
Madeleine’s Fund – Leaving no Stone Unturned Limited
We acknowledge receipt of your letter dated 23 December 2007 which was also sent to the auditors of Madeleine’s Fund, Haysmacintyre. We are also replying on behalf of Haysmacintyre.
We are advised by our client that reports in the media purporting to be from the investigators, which made claims as to when Madeleine would be found are inaccurate and misrepresentations of their views.
Our client has every confidence in the investigators who continue the search for Madeleine.
Yours faithfully
Bates Wells & Braithwaite London LLP
From this reply, are we to assume that all those donations to be popped into envelopes and addressed to Rothley will go towards funding the same Metodo3, or will another useless outfit be employed?

It is obvious that Dr G P never watched any “Columbo” TV progs.
The culprit…always a Sociopath…always arrogant and so sure that
the dumb cop would never ever doubt him/her nor solve the riddles,
backfitting and covering up of involvement in the crime.
The amount of lies neede to be told….leading to contradictions…then
to more lies and cover-ups….until finally the dumb cop gives the final
coup de grace and slaps the handcuffs on.

I went to the dentist in Italy for a check up yesterday and my dentist asked me about this case, possibly because I am British. He said that it is similar to a recent case in Italy. A mother battered her toddler to death, said she went out, leaving him sleeping in the house, whilst she took the other child to the bus stop and them claimed that someone had entered the house, which was open by the way, she claimed, and killed her child. The Italian mother was on TV always perfectly presented and groomed and never looked distressed.
She just got convicted for killing the child. Can’t remember the mother’s name but will have a look to see if I can find anything. There are quite a few similarities in the case….. Her husband, family and friends swear she is innocent too!
Oh, my teeth were fine by the way!

January 11th, 2008 at 5:23 pm
To use something SteveO said in his 584 post (I hope he doesn’t mind) ”people go along with something because of belief rather than fact”.
I think a lot of us here can get caught in that trap but moreover I think that is where the Mc’s may be at. I think most understand that one thing (a lie?) can lead to another. They have all got themselves in so deep now that they can’t just say ”oops sorry it wasn’t quite like that”. Also they may even have conditioned themselves to actually believe certain things. It’s possible, even though the outline of the truth is & always will be in the back of their minds ready to be pulled out if….?
The long & short of it is that they probably assumed, at the time, that they were so clever & now it has all snowballed. It needs someone to break ranks/the pact.
