Madeleine McCann: Kelsey Lynn Kudia For Hire, Paris Hilton And Propaganda
MADDYWATCH - Anorak’s at-a-glance guide to press coverage of Madeleine McCann
THE SUN front page: “’MADDIE’ FOR HIRE”
Tonight Kelsey Lynn Kudia is Madeleine McCann. Kelsey looks likes Madeleine McCann. She’s not in Morocco. She;s nopt Bouchra Benaissa. She not in Malta. But for the right fee she might be. Kelsey is a working Madeleine McCann double
Pages 4 and 5: “The boss of a lookalike agency who hopes to make a fortune out of a little Madeleine McCann double said last night: ‘It’s not sinister – it’s entertainment’. Shona Adams reckons three-year-old Kelsey Lynn Kudla’s similarity to missing Maddie could earn her £9MILLION for starring in a proposed feature film about the vanished tot”
Well, someone would have to play the missing child, unless she is found alive and well…
Says Shona, owner of London’s Juliet Adams Model Agency: “If the film about Madeleine is ever made, then the world is Kelsey’s oyster. If someone like Steven Spielberg made it, she could make £9million easily – of which I’d take 20 per cent. She will become a name in her own right and make it as a child model or actress because she’s got her foot in the door”
Just when you thought it was safe to holiday in Portugal…Dum-dum…
Of course, great acting careers have begun with less. Didn’t Tom Hanks play the baby in a Cry In The Dark?
She continues: “And from there, her earning potential is limitless. It’s not sinister. And if the McCanns are upset, there’s nothing they can do because it’s a democracy. I wouldn’t back away from it because, if a film is being made, then it’s entertainment”
Kate and Gerry McCann are “doctors”.
Says Shona: “I wouldn’t put Kelsey in a position of doing anything bad taste”
SLAP IN FACE FOR McCANNS: Sun columnist Lorraine Kelly says: “It makes you recoil to think a lookalike agency would have a Madeleine on their books alongside someone who looks like Jack Nicholson or Paris Hilton”
Whatever could she mean? Neither Nicolson nor Hilton were available to defend themselves…
DAILY EXPRESS: “The Madeleine lookalike on hire for £600 an hour”
Do you want to get your resort or country in the papers? Hire Kelsey to be a “Madeleine” and attract the world’s media to your locale as she is spotted time and time again
Kelsey is American
“PARENTS trying to ‘distract’ police
A source “close to the official police” investigation says: “Who do the McCanns think they are? The discovery of new witnesses in the last few weeks lead the authorities to believe they are at war with a gigantic propaganda machine. The McCanns have some very powerful people on their side - millionaires, celebrities, even politicians”
Says Robert Murat’s lawyer: “Robert Murat does not have millionaires supporting him, nor campaign funds. “He just wants to see his name cleared in this case as he has nothing to do with Madeleine’s disappearance, despite every day people emerging trying to forcibly incriminate him”
DAILY STAR front page: “MADDIE – The £600 an hour lookalike”
Page 7: “MADDIE DOUBLE FOR HIRE”
“A sick mother is touting her daughter as a £600-an-hour Madeleine McCann lookalike,” says the paper, amid adverts for “adult fantasies”, “nasty sex” and FILTH”
She is an “unnamed American girl” - see the Sun above
Says Clarence Mitchell: “This is an offensive way to make money out of Madeleine’s disappearance. This is deeply offensive to parents Kate and Gerry”
MADDIE: THE MOVIE: “Yesterday, Channel 4’s head of documentaries Angus Macqueen said he had attended a meeting with the McCanns’ representatives to discuss a movie. He tells us: “Of course we are interested in making a film about this compelling story. We have a history of making quality films about crime matters”
That’s entertainment: “Meanwhile, producers of US psychic TV show Haunting Evidence have been in Praia da Luz planning their own show about Madeleine’s disappearance”
DAILY MAIL: “McCanns are ready to sack detective agency”
Says a source: “We will carry on the search for Madeleine, but not necessarily with Metodo 3. We are stuck with them to the end of the contracted period. The question of whether it is renewed or not has still to be decided. They have faced not having their contract renewed every since Francisco shot his mouth off… It was made clear what they were doing was foolish and unhelpful”
DAILY TELEGRAPH: “US TV psychics join hunt for Madeleine McCann”
“Three clairvoyants from the hit show will travel to Praia da Luz in a bid to find the missing four-year-old”
Come in Madeleine…
Kate and Gerry McCanns have received “1,500” offers from psychics hoping to find Madeleine. Like the Psychic Barber…
Says Clarence Mitchell: “We did receive an offer and chose on this occasion not to respond. We are grateful for any assistance they bring to bear in the hunt for finding Madeleine. We thank them for their concern and any demonstrably checkable fact is passed on to the police or the private detective agency”
Tune and pick up into Madeleine on the telly…

Julie - even more shocking is that the twins knew their big sister had gone because she’d been “taken”. Wouldn’t you think the twins would be shit scared after that? Not only from being left alone - something that happened repeatedly but then to see their parents leaving them for no good reason.
**********************************
I can only conclude from the twins reactions that this was a normal way of life for them, it was no different to what they were used to at any other time! IMHO of course.

There was a user in here - Carmen. Said he was a man living in Spain. First name began with G. Can you explain this to Johnny-Come-Sledgehammer please? Thanks.

Tony Bennett [..]Hence the law was changed, about a decade ago, to provide that where a court was satisfied that one parent had killed a child, but the court could not be sure which, both could be convicted of murder.
I really hope this isn’t serious?
So if the procecutor can’t proof my hubby did it, and I can’t proof I didn’t do it or proof I wasn’t even at the scene of the crime, I could go to jail whilst being innocent???????
I’m sure it’s not as simple as that.

I think this is the result of the children being with nannies, in creches etc for almost all of their lives.
I believe People who use words like ‘adore’ and ‘beloved’ and ‘love’ (and misuse incredibly to emphasise!) all the time are usually trying to emphasise too much for it to be genuine.
Why would any dad worth his salt be glad not to have the kids with him at dinner on holiday?
Not to emphasise too much, but I find that incredible.

Well, the Police had taken them in for questioning…then released them.
I think the bodies were moved that night to the ditch and burned.

Extremely odd for the twins to not even have made a peep, they didn’t even seem particularly interested in saying goodbye!

Thanks Sledgehammer, but remember that a legal judgement is based on the complex technicalities of the law, especially influenced by the rules of evidence.
Items of evidence, as you know, are the legal version of facts. There may be an item of evidence which could prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt which is inadmissable because it is in some way ‘flawed’ - possibly by a simple technicality.
Although in the eyes of the law a person might be found ‘not guilty’ and walk free, the judge may even comment on such a miscarriage - indeed may suggest a change should be considered in the law.
There is a constant debate as to the position of the judiciary in making or interpreting the law.
In short, ‘not guilty’ does’nt mean ‘innocent’. It is just not proven to be guilty ‘beyond a reasonable doubt’.
What did you mean about Stevo?

I knew they found the bodies burned etc. I didn’t know if the police had done forensics on the Fiesta beforehand. It’s sort of similar to the McCann case in this respect.

Fair,
Of course we can agree to disagree. No probs ever about that!
I don’t think it is very important, because that blog isn’t written by a very inspiring writer and has a lot of bla-bla stories [imo]. So I seldom had a look at it.
However I seem to recall 19:00 hrs was the normal time to put the kids to bed?
Or am I mistaken?

That’s right Sledgenutter. Rhys Jones’ killer is totally innocent according to your interpretation of the law in a country where you don’t live.
Carmen is the last name of the poster…it is you that got the sex wrong. First name beginning with “G” if I remember correctly.
Try again….

On the video where K&G are leaving for their visit to the Pope, there are shots of them saying goodbye to the twins. Now this is one unique set of twins, THEY DIDN’T EVEN CRY when saying goodbye to mummy and daddy.
I find this very, very odd for two year olds! If I think back to when all three of my boys were that age, they would practically raise the roof if I said “goodbye” to them, and it didn’t matter who I was leaving them with … their granny, their uncles, my best friend … they simply did not want mommy to go. I used to do the “sneaking away” trick, just so they didn’t go into raptures when I left!
Extremely odd for the twins to not even have made a peep, they didn’t even seem particularly interested in saying goodbye!

Yes, I tried to say that earlier too but without much success. I feel that, if there had been an abduction and they were genuinely worried about it, they would have had to swallow their pride and tell the truth about the checks.

Complex investigation
Maddie: The extension of the secrecy of justice was requested
The Public Prosecutor asked today for an extension to the secrecy of justice concerning the case of the disappearance of Madeleine McCann due to the fact that is an investigation of exceptional complexity.
According to a source in the General Attorney’s Office, the request to the extension of the secrecy of justice was made this Friday to the criminal judge, few days before the deadline of the 8 months of the investigation ended.
According to the Code of Criminal Procedure, exceeded the maximum deadline of 8 months without accusation or filling, the process will have to become public. Nonetheless the same code states that an investigation can be declared of exceptional complexity and so the an extension can be given.
In this case the process will continue in secrecy of justice for more three months.

Interestingly, some people in Grimsby saw Maxine Carr looking horrified when she was looking in the boot of Huntley’s Ford Fiesta. Some people think he had the two bodies in that boot before taking them away and Carr knew about it. Can you remember if they did forensics on the car boot or was that not necessary as they had found the bodies? I can’t remember.

715 Totje says (January 11th, 2008 at 6:28 pm):
“Generalizing and thinking about statistics, in 80% of the cases regarding missing children [of that age] a family member or someone with access to the family is involved. That leaves 20% who aren’t involved”.
REPLY: But if you confine that to cases where a child has gone missing from *inside a house*, the 80% figure rises to more like 99%

I dislike Gerry more than I dislike Kate because he loves the Media and that annoys me - but I don’t know if one is more or less guilty (or not guilty) than another.
January 11th, 2008 at 6:37 pm
Good evening to the barmy brigade, a dearth of barmy theories today surely you have not exhausted them all. Stevo’s gaffs in assuming things should be a timely warning to you all, Carmen was most polite in her ladylike reply. One other thing if in the UK you are found not guilty in a court of law, you are well not guilty, unless the barmy brigade are going to challenge the English language and the law. Scotland has three verdicts the usual guilty or not guilty and the rather puzzling” Not Proven”, this verdict has seen many public out crys as hung jurys, have allowed accused that the public opinion deemed guilty to walk free.

Another one that always struck me was that he (Gerry) came out very quickly and said that he was the genetic parent of Madeleine - but he didnt take the oportunity to say Kate and I are the genetic parents of Madeleine - which left a new doubt hanging in the air.
I dont know of anyone who picked up the point in the media.
OK, Gerry, but what about Kate? Just my evil mind working overtime!
January 11th, 2008 at 6:36 pm
I think Ian and others have made this point already but can I make it again?
IF the only thing they- G & K and tapas - have lied about is try to cover their neglect with fictitional accounts of checking then they don’t give a fig about the abduction.
If they really thought Madeleine had been taken, their innacurate accounts of checking means that finding the perpretator of the abduction is nigh on impossible. Because if you have to narrow down witness statements to a five minute window of opportunity, then you’re - by default - making it very difficult for the police to locate your abducted daughter.

I am sorry Oh Great One. I apologise for saying “link to your article” (or words to that effect) instead of “full judgement in the Court of Appeal.” Next time I will type the words, get my “Chenier Approved Microscope” out and check the words, letter by letter in case I type something wrong and get caught in your English professor-like reply processing system.
“But clearly you don’t understand it, do you? If you are incapable of grasping the difference between what Lord Justice Judge said, and what Dr Watson said he said, then you clearly don’t understand it.” REPLY: NO OH GREAT ONE. Chenier is the Master of the Universe. All knowing, all seeing. I apologise oh great sage for not expanding on “I understand” to a level sufficient of oh great one’s mastery of comprehension of the English language.
“I appreciate that you like to hold yourself out as an expert on everything but it’s unlikely that anyone is going to be consulting you on this…”
Not true oh master. Sorry…should have said “Oh Master. ” I know my limitations but the Great Sage knows more than I. And I should have known that the RAF Regiment were up there with the SAS. I apologise again Oh Great One for I was once a Rock Ape and did not know this.
You really do talk a load of shite.

708 Miss Match says (January 11th, 2008 at 6:24 pm): “He [husband of Italian mother who killed her child] claims his wife is innocent. Now whether he genuinely believes that or not, and just doesn’t want to be publicly associated with a child killer, hence protesting her innocence, who knows…Interesting question though!”
REPLY: I might have guessed. JonBenet Ramsey would be a comparable case, Ian Huntley and his partner Maxine Carr, who gave him an alibi, would be another (though that was not an intra-family murder). People capable of killing a child seem to shack up with people prepared to cover for them. In many child murder cases in this country, both parents will mutually deny it was them that attacked and killed their child. Hence the law was changed, about a decade ago, to provide that where a court was satisfied that one parent had killed a child, but the court could not be sure which, both could be convicted of murder.
I wonder if the law in Portugal is similar???
