OH Gosh! I not only read about Real Dolls, but I actually saw a special on BBC America about people who actually replaced relationships with a real person in lieu of a real doll. Each person in the special had names for their doll (some of them had multiple dolls!) and gave insight as to why they would rather have a living relationship with an inanimate object rather than someone who is real and alive. I have to say, I wouldn't mind experimenting with some of the male pieces on display @ the Real Doll booth, but I would never replace a real man who is not only there for me physically, but mentally and emotionally as well. Thank you!
