Gordon Brown Owns You And Your Organs
GORDON Brown has “thrown his weight behind” (Telegraph) a move to permit hospitals to remove organs from dead patients without explicit consent.
Good for the ill in need of an organ. But does it mean that your body is owned by the State, unless you opt out?
And does that mean that the State takes precedence over religious beliefs?
Will the wake be enjoined by wonks playing games of Operation with the dearly departed?
Looks like another Labour Party donation problem…

I won’t be handing over my cholesterol-clogged organs on principle - is that Big Bad Brown’s health plan- taking from the, er, dead?
This is really not doing his rep. much good, apparently now he pilfers us in death as well as in life.
One question, will a tattoo in letters 4ft long across my body saying “dont’ touch what you can’t afford” be suffice in deterring the organ pickpockets?

I signed up with the Organ donation er body, but have stipulated that no policitcian is to get anything, even any dandruff that accumulates post mortem, and that my wine cellar and assets I have left to myself for next time around.

The picture is in the Telegraph?

No, the picture’s inspired.
That doesn’t happen in the Telegraph.
I do, however, worry about the apparent trend towards objects which may require batteries…
