Madeleine McCann: Kate McCann’s Message And McCann Posters For Mari Cortes Luz
MADDYWATCH - Anorak’s at-a-glance guide to press coverage of Madeleine McCann
DAILY EXPRESS: “I feel your pain – Kate’s note to kidnap parents”
Kate McCann has delivered a “heartfelt message of support” to the parents of missing girl Mari Luz Cortes
Writes Kate, a “GP”: “I feel your pain, as parents we know what you’re going through…I am praying that Mari Luz is found quickly, safe and well”
Not that it’s all about the McCanns, a Maddy 2. Although: Says Juan Jose Cortes, Mari’s father: “Only now I understand what Madeleine McCann’s parents are suffering”
Neither Mr Cortes nor his wife are named suspects in their child’s disappearance
The McCanns have offered to equip posters of Madeleine with a shot of Mari – 12,000 of them are to be put up in Spain, the Balearic and Canary Islands
Mr Cortes says thank you but “We don’t feels strong enough to make a decision”
Says Clarence Mitchell, the McCanns’ spokesman: “The posters could lead to vital clues in both cases. Mari Luz’s face would sit along Madeleine’s… We just want to help”
Help who?
DAILY STAR: “’I KNOW THE PAIN YOU ARE FEELING’”
“Madeleine McCann’s mum has told the parents of a child feared snatched by the same abductor: ‘I feel your pain.’ GP Kate, 39, sent her words of comfort to the parents of five-year-old Mari Luz Cortes when the McCanns’ private detectives met them to investigate links between the two cases”
How did the papers come to know of this message, and how can knowing help either child?
“POLICE reject claims of link” – Portuguese police do not “believe” there is a link between Mari and Madeleine
Kate McCann is a “GP”
DAILY MAIL: “McCanns comfort lost girl’s parents”
Kate McCann has sent an “emotional message” to the parents of Mari Luz Cortes
THE McCanns will have to wait until September this year to discover why they were made suspects
THE MIRROR: “KATE’S PRAYER OF HOPE”
“I FEEL YOUR PAIN – Kate’s message to parents of missing Spanish girl Mari”
Reports are that police are seeking a “local sex pest” in Huelva
“70,000..the number of kids under 16 that go missing in the UK every year. Only 10 per cent vanish for more than five days”
Any more room on those posters? How are they remembered?
DAILY TELEGRAPH: “McCanns tell lost girl’s parents: We feel for you”
Says a friend of Mari’s parents, Irene a
nd Juan Jose Cortes: “They have been touched by the fact someone who is going through her own turmoil can find the strength to think of their moment of need”

Even I - (aproximately) four times as old as Madeleine - wouldn’t feel “safe” sleeping in an unlocked groundfloor holiday-apartment alone.

So why the sudden lurch to your Madeleine Murdered Theory.
Nothing to do with the “”Madeleine was Murdered and Dumped in a
Reservoir”" Headlines in the Rags…which were accompannied by a
statement by a lawyer representing the McCann which said that they
were preparing a Defence to a Charge of Murder. ???
Seems to much of a coincidence that.
Sure you didn’t get a text from Headquarters to alter completely
the to the “new line” to follow.
Doesn’t sound much like “going against the flow” that.

Garth, I don’t automatically ASSUME the worst in people either. However, a person’s behaviour speaks volumes!

I think you’ll find is exactly what you do. (keyboards pissing me off - Im gone! )

I have looked at your link. That, I agree, is a surprisingly high number, but it does add that aspiration of vomit is usually associated with background medical conditions or with sudden infant death syndrome, which would usually (though not always) occur in young babies.
I noticed that hanging was mentioned in this article, and this is something that would worry me greatly, because I know of a child (a twin) aged 3 who died when he wrapped the curtain cord around his neck, when the nanny was just out of the room.

And another thing Julie, I dont go assuming the worst in people because they have done something I dont accept, which

The difference between you and me on this case is that I dont just go with the flow. I look at all possibilities. And sometimes even (if they are not my actually my way of doing things which I guess you’ve assumed) I can understand other peoples thinking, whether its right or its wrong.

“I agree, the search for Madeleine should be halted.”
You are not expected to join the search. You are not expected to donate either. So just let those who want to continue the search do so as long as there is at least a possibility that the girl is alive.

Are you finally admitting that you actually DON’T know everything?

Do you really think that if a child or children of that age were awake and alone for 20 minutes or so (between checks) that they would be safe from the possibility of harm and self-injury/accident? How could a parent thinks so?
January 18th, 2008 at 7:32 pm
643that kind of service would give some better chance of survival .rte announced tonight if irish people want a good health system we would have to move to uk denmark ..etc seem to list every other eu country

I do agree with the point about swinging children by their arms. Surprisingly often, the joint dislocates and, as you probably know, you will soon know about it because the child will cry non-stop. Many people do go to the park on a Sunday morning and lovingly swing their child - the child screetches with glee until a joint dislocates and the glee turns to agony. Many people just don’t understand this risk - but it is surprising that the MCs would do this, especially Kate who, as a GP, has surely seen many children with such injuries in her surgery. I also noticed them doing this to the twins some time ago.

And ….. there was this BEAUTIFUL picture of the “amazing parents” (along with another adult), SWINGING the twins in the air by their arms …. (mommy - twin - other adult - twin - daddy). Any idea how dangerous this is? They obviously don’t! They need a serious course in human behaviour and parenting.

God this is awfully tediously incredibly - ludicrously - dull. Another week, still no re-interviews. Nothing. Baudelaire fans will know how he felt: “Rien n’a change, rien n’embellit les murs de ce cloitre odieux”. Spot on. Mon ame est felee. At least he had Jeanne Duval to brighten up his evenings.
Zut alors.

I meant to add that when it comes to being able to see a doctor over here for the normal ailments, this aspect is second to none.
I had to go to the doctor as an emergency one Saturday. It was the middle of the afternoon and I hadn’t signed up with a GP. There were several “urgent care” practices around here and the one I went to was open 7 days a week from 9am to 9pm…yep…even on weekends. I walked in off the street and was treated within an hour….no appointment or nothing. It cost me about $250 but $100 of that was registration fees at that place.
The NHS has nothing to compare with that kinds of service from my experience.

Of course thats very true. However, like Ive said, Im sure the McCanns were well aware of their sleep patterns but thats not to say they would never wake up, but then thats why they had the frequent checks.

It does occur :
And any Dr would be aware of the possibility.
