Remembering Abdul Latif Of Curry Hell

curry-hell.jpgABDUL Latif, owner of the Ruplai Restaurant in Newcastle upon Tyne (now the Curry Capital), has died. He was 52. He famously offered free meals for five years to British soldiers who served in Iraq.

He also produced the “world’s hottest curry,” called Curry Hell:
