“Mari Luz Cortes vanished on January 13, as she went to buy sweets from a local kiosk in the Spanish town of Huelva, near the border with Portugal. A massive search for the five-year-old is ongoing.
“The disappearance has been linked to that of Madeleine McCann from the Algarve resort of Praia da Luz, although police said they did not think the two cases were connected.
Ms Fitzpatrick yesterday said that her only daughter is “still just a kid”.
“She is only 15 and she has disappeared without trace.”
Amy Fitpatrick was 15 when she vanished after leaving her friend’s house near Feungirola, in Spain, at 10pm on New Year’s Day. She set out on the 20-minute walk to her own house, but has not been seen since.

3 kids under 4, and much of that time in IVF treatment, GErry working round clock, Kate lost career as anasthetist, they had just moved house too - kind of high on the stress ratings.
Don’t agree M was not loved, but K may have had a difficult time over the previous 5 years.
How many of us frenzied mums can look back and say we were not knackered all the time? And that’s without ivf.
Add a husband who can’t relax even on hols (3 tennis lessons in one day for Gods sake) and mybe our K was under a bit of pressure.
MAybe she just wanted the child to sleep, with a bit of help - ex anaesthetist remember. Maybe it’s possible that they had the perfect dosage but by mistake the both administered it that night or something… maybe not, but M was dopier than she should have been when she wandered out and got disorientated and was run over by a drink driver who then dumped her body - all possible…
Maybe as many have said the reason they screamed abduction was they believed her to be too sedated to leave on her own.. but perhaps she did?

I heard they automatically pick through all of it before it goes in the tip, in PDL.
I’m going with cemetary. That’s based on the rumor of the embalming fluid, their predilection for religious overtones, and the very slim chance it would be found. A gravesite within a graveyard would be very hard to figure out, in my opinion.

Brandon, I feel sorry about your today’s stress, sorrow and agony. Can’t say I feel the same, but imagine that I’ve been going through similar emotions.
If I understand you correctly, will agree that 2-year-olds would have a lot to say if talking to the right person and - possibly - being asked the right question[s].
It remains strange that they slept trough everything and would never ever have recollected something that happened …

Christine 1244- if you feel she was unloved then maybe the answer is in the IVF regime her parents took onboard when she was a babe in arms. The regime from what I have learnt is rigourous, hormonal imbalance,injections, chances of failure,young baby to look after, test to run etc etc. Where did Madeleine fit into this wish for an almost immediate child via IVF??????

Again not having been able to go through all posts: from what I picked up the most important seems to be that GM changing the timeline discredits Tanner, who is thus an unreliable witness and hence, the timeslot for abduction is being enlarged. Correct me if I’m wrong. I have another 10 minutes before meltdown after “heavy” and serious days about other things…

I dont know if you heard about my dying rabbit this morning, but the neighbours did.
One was 4 one was 2.
We were on way to car
6 kids and a dead rabbit later, I, husband, older girls, neighbour had to comfort the younger ones.
The 2 year old sucked dummy looked nonchalant whilst everyone else went from resuscitating, panic and crying……………..
…………….. I asked her tonight how they were, she said the 4 y old cried alot all day, ( we saw it die before our eyes) .
However the 2 year old boy said nothing till meeting his grandmother and told the lot!
Everything actions and all.
So I am quite striken to say the least.
I wonder if twins said anyhing to anyone?

I can’t understand it and don’t get it, but for some reason, Madeleine seemed to be an unloved child. How really sad is that? The answer no doubt will be with the selfish two - seems the twins loved her though. Madeleine, no doubt, has come through her ordeal now and the whole world loves her and i’m sure she’ll know that.

I’m neither a parent nor a social worker, so I don’t know the answer to this, but someone else here might? Is it possible for the police and Social Services to question children aged say three-and-a-half and actually get some useful information out of them?

In the ones without the elbow the background is blurred. Do you think the star “gave Gerry the elbow” literally just to have a better shot of Madeleine? This may bubbish the last photo theory - ? Doesn’t discount teh shadow on the grass though.
Any more views on why G+K never went back and asked Jez Wilkins if he had seen Madeleine when she was missing - ie before jumping to abduction theory? After all, if she had wandered out and was crying, he could have taken her in to their apt, she knew their daughter from creche after all, and he knew G+K didn’t want the kids at the tapas bar. That’s what I would have done, before calling sky news anyway ….????

to garth,and anybody else that wants to ,or can be bothered to read my post,talking as a parent,can anybody explain the actions of the mccanns,we know the pj continue to think they are the main suspects,not one policeman ,not two,not one judge,not one public prosecuter,but everybody so far who has seen ALL the evidence seem to think they and people around them are guilty of something,WHY O WHY if your child was really missing would you not without pr or government help say for f…k sake just find my girl i will live in this police station untill you are happy we have had nothing to do with this…….but please help me find my little girl…….that is why we have the fund to find my little girl please please help us we have money we can help you to help us ,……………………

The Kate, Queen of Hyperbole, had them talking like puppets before the holidays: “Madeleine will be coming to our lovely house and we’ll share our toys.” (paraphrase)
Elizabeth Smart’s sister was just a baby, and she was able to give the sketch/description, published by John Walsh–not the police, that ultimately solved the crime.
But the twins are being mind controlled already, in my opinion.

Abraham 1221 - are you talking about Sean and Amelia?? If you are , I think they are coming up for their 3rd birthday. From experience I would think that from the time of the unhappy day, 3rd May, the vocabulary at that time would be limited to recollect happenings. The time that has passsed and occurance inbetween ie flights, commotion of flights, press etc their memories would be confused. I sadly think that some of the memories they now have of Madeleine are imprinted memories via family etc.
