“Mari Luz Cortes vanished on January 13, as she went to buy sweets from a local kiosk in the Spanish town of Huelva, near the border with Portugal. A massive search for the five-year-old is ongoing.
“The disappearance has been linked to that of Madeleine McCann from the Algarve resort of Praia da Luz, although police said they did not think the two cases were connected.
Ms Fitzpatrick yesterday said that her only daughter is “still just a kid”.
“She is only 15 and she has disappeared without trace.”
Amy Fitpatrick was 15 when she vanished after leaving her friend’s house near Feungirola, in Spain, at 10pm on New Year’s Day. She set out on the 20-minute walk to her own house, but has not been seen since.

What on earth do they think that this will prove? Maybe he will join them and help them!!!!!

What I tried to say in my post on the last thread is that if the PJ is right and these men are just drifters begging for money by making up an orphanage story, then would not they go door to door? There would not be only a few people who saw them, but many, many.
At the resort there is only Charlotte Pennington, Amanda Mills, Gail Cooper, and Paul Gordon saying they saw such a man or men.
Only Pennington and Gordon provide an exact location, while the other two do not. In fact with Cooper, the location was given as a villa 600 yards from the McCanns’ apartment. Then later Clarence said Cooper spotted the man “at the resort”. Robert Murat’s villa (for contrast) is 100 yards from the McCanns. So the 600 yard distant villa most certainly seems outside the resort.
None of this adds up, and it all gives me a headache.
If these witnesses are willing to come forward and publicly state what they saw, why cannot they make the statement exact and detailed as to time and location? Which apartment was Cooper staying at (with husband and two kids) and whose villa is it 600 yards distant that was said to be Tanner/Cooper’s family? In the original news, Gail Cooper states clearly that she saw the man at this villa, after he came to the front door and rang the bell. Her 8 year old grandchild was near “the pool”, but this pool was not a Mark Warner pool.
None of this adds up, and gives me a headache. Have I got it wrong? How big is the resort? Is something 600 yards away from the McCanns’ apartment still in the resort? Or has Clarence Mitchell been altering some of the stories as he sees fit?
Now, if the PJ are wrong, and Clarence is right, meaning the creepy men are from a paedophile ring, looking over apartments… well, this made sense for Paul Gordon’s account since he spots someone outside the patio doors. But Gail Cooper says the guy came to the front door and rang the bell. And Amanda Mills claimed a guy was going to steal a pushchair after looking in the windows. Oh, oh my headache won’t go away.
I keep thinking that if it is paedophiles, maybe they were not trying to find a way to take children, but were making sales calls to people they think might want them to bring children. Prospecting for customers.
That might explain how Clarence Mitchell knows they are connected to a paedophile ring. If so, the PJ must know too, and are pretending they are drifters, because if they admit the men are from a paedophile ring, that would be exactly what Clarence wants them to admit. This is a roundabout way to say that Team McCann wants to frame these men.
Whoever these men are, I would not want to be them. They might turn up floating in a river somewhere, with a dead child in tow, as “proof” that they were abducting.
Thank God I have no friends like these people. It is like reading about people from another planet. A planet I do not want to visit.

Why did Gerry change the time Tanner saw the abductor to 9:10?
Evidence - Panorama - Tanner estimated 9:15, so its on the record.
Gerry now gives that estimate at 9:10. This is such a vital moment - last sight of Madeleine by Gerry was estimated (by him) as 9:10, last sight of abductor was estmated at 9:15 (by Tanner).
Why make this change? Surely not an error - its absolutely a key estimate.
