Madeleine McCann: Gail Cooper Says And Amy Fitzpatrick
MADDYWATCH - Anorak’s at-a-glance guide to press coverage of Madeleine McCann
THE SUN: “Potential Maddie witness snub”
“The British woman who may have seen Maddie McCann’s kidnapper has NOT been quizzed by Portuguese cops”
Gail Cooper says she saw a man. An artist’s impression of the man has been released
Gail, of Newark, Notts, says: “They never contacted me. He must be found, even if it is to rule him out”
IRISH INDEPENDENT: “Mum vows to continue search for missing teen Amy”
“Mari Luz Cortes vanished on January 13, as she went to buy sweets from a local kiosk in the Spanish town of Huelva, near the border with Portugal. A massive search for the five-year-old is ongoing.
“The disappearance has been linked to that of Madeleine McCann from the Algarve resort of Praia da Luz, although police said they did not think the two cases were connected.
Ms Fitzpatrick yesterday said that her only daughter is “still just a kid”.
“She is only 15 and she has disappeared without trace.”
Amy Fitpatrick was 15 when she vanished after leaving her friend’s house near Feungirola, in Spain, at 10pm on New Year’s Day. She set out on the 20-minute walk to her own house, but has not been seen since.

said…Ian, you are 103% correct, it makes no difference at all, to anything.
So why not answer my question - as its irrelevant to anything, surely you dont resent a poor old chap like me asking silly questions?
Why do you think Gerry altered the time of Tanners sighting and effectively dismissed it?
9:10 he said he left the apartment.
9:10 he said she saw abductor.
9:15 she said she saw abductor.
Why did he say that?

Already did.
Anyhow….why do you think the MF Maddy thread was pulled then ?

The News of the World Exclusive on Sunday, in co-operation with M3 and Camp Mccann, was based on all of the information in the public domain (so it said). The result was that they came up with Gail (our correspondent in Portugal) Cooper and a sketch of Mr Shifty.
I come here to look at the news and see what other people comment about. I may have opinions and ideas, but I am under no illusion that anything discussed on here has not already been considered by people much better trained and with much more experience than me to consider such matters.

Just noticed while trawling his blogs that the family paid a visit to the UK on 14 July for a family baptism. They all came here and they all went back.
Have we discussed this ?

Maybe MF just had enough of going round in circles.
————————————-
I don’t think so.
I posted here a few days ago noting that, in my view, there was a concerted attempt at getting the Mirror Forum closed down because libellous postings, and objecting to what I saw as similar attempts here on Anorak.
I think Anorak is well aware of that possibility, and that suggestions we should all agree to meet elsewhere when Anorak is closed down are simply dishonest attempts at drumming up support for other people’s blogs.
There is no reason why Anorak, which has a remarkable history, should go down, and I for one do not propose to go anywhere else….
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I take your point , and speaking personally - can’t speak for anyone else obviously - have no intention of leaving anorak. Love it here. As do most other posters IMO.
I think all we were after was a failsafe in case we lose our beloved home like the posters on the MF forum.
I wonder if Hideki was on there ? Perhaps that’s why its gone.
But you’re right Chenier - voluntary leaving is not on the cards.
Kicking and screaming we’ll have to be dragged off here.
:sob:
————————————–
Well, they were certainly posting some pretty revolting stuff, and people who claimed to be there for the debate were not doing any debating.
The claim about the Home Office replying to the Mirror Forum was so fantastic that it would have provided ample evidence that the people posting were either deluded or deliberately lying about it.
I don’t know know who benefits from the claim that the PJ had not contacted the Home Office, but it sure as hell wouldn’t be the PJ. It was just another way of claiming that the PJ are incompetent…
As for moving from Anorak, I shall be emulating Marco’s Mummy and handcuffing myself to the website.
I will probably refrain from singing, though…
He isn’t asking people to abuse him, is he? It’s great that we can all be anonymous on the Internet, but that doesn’t give us the moral right to abuse anyone.
Gerrys blog 26.05.07
Yesterday was relatively quiet although we did meet the British ambassador and the senior British Police Officer who has been working here in Portugal on the case. This was a productive meeting. There was a flurry of activity amongst the media here stating the family was openly critical of the Portuguese policed which was not true. We did our best to dampen this down but a couple of papers carried stories with our ‘frustration’ with the investigation rather than what we said it was frustrating that 3 weeks down the line we still have not got Madeleine back. This would be the case which ever country we were in. Some of you may have noticed that Sean and Amelie did manage to squeeze in a hair cut!
rest snipped….
But now they criticise the PJ.
And the haircut
Just a thought.
WE not aware that WE are banning Firestar, I think Firestar has expressed a wish to us to issue a red card…
The place Brandon Flours is talking about is here http://www.anorak.co.uk in the Forums, a place of sanctuary for many of you during the recent crashes.
Anorak will be the last site to go down, and it will be inflames and under extreme duress and letting off flares left right and centre
I may be wrong in my interpretation, but Stevo is referring to EMAILS, not posts. He isn’t silencing anyone.
all the same.
if someone is always encouraging people to mail his site, then he shouldn’t use the information on it to cause trouble for people at work using the email address they have supplied him with when he doesn’t like peoples opinions.
it may be legal, but it’s still something a slug would do.
Now that’s not a bad idea. Perhaps, if Anorak were to go down, we could set a group on a Portuguese site.
Does the Mirror Forum closing have a relation to the revelation that findmadeleine was copyrighted in 2006? That revelation was by justiceformadeleine website, which also closed down. Then it was discussed on Mirror. I think the Portuguese should host more English-language forums. Everyone would go there!
