“Mari Luz Cortes vanished on January 13, as she went to buy sweets from a local kiosk in the Spanish town of Huelva, near the border with Portugal. A massive search for the five-year-old is ongoing.
“The disappearance has been linked to that of Madeleine McCann from the Algarve resort of Praia da Luz, although police said they did not think the two cases were connected.
Ms Fitzpatrick yesterday said that her only daughter is “still just a kid”.
“She is only 15 and she has disappeared without trace.”
Amy Fitpatrick was 15 when she vanished after leaving her friend’s house near Feungirola, in Spain, at 10pm on New Year’s Day. She set out on the 20-minute walk to her own house, but has not been seen since.

It is interesting that not a single journalist seems to be curious what has become of the letters letters the Portugal authorities have sent.
And the German and Austrian newspapers only repeat what they get from the press agencies. And even that in many cases incorrect.

Yes! I remember that.
But when was it?
Been watching the Youtube videos on that mccann files site, but tis difficult cos haven’t got sound on my work computer.
She may repeat it on there, but I can’t lip read.
More I think about it then tis a good possibility. Particularly in view of the speculation about embalming fluids, towels etc. But if they flew home they wouldn’t have dared take her that way.
So - did anyone drive home? or one of the relatives leave at the same time - but who’d driven not flown?
Anyone?
Bugger it - now I’m off on another tangent like my tennis racquet / ball theory.
I think maybe I should concentrate on my work, but this is far more interesting

It may be that on your visits to MF recently you looked at different threads to the ones I viewed; I did post here a few days back saying that I thought there were deliberate attempts to get the MF shut down since the level of libellous comments had got much higher.
So I’m not exactly surprised it’s happened…

I don’t know. I wonder if maybe they did. I can remember Kate saying something along the lines of not wanting to go home without Madeleine,before they were made arguido’s and did their vanishing trick.
The main reason I guess I was suspicious is cos I thought that only Gerry went home in all those months and that Kate and the twins were left with the various friends / relatives who visited them out there. Dunno why I thought that, there must have been a reason.
But if something had happened to Madeleine, other than the alleged abduction, I really don’t believe that she would have been hardhearted enough to have left her daughter in Portugal, if they were involved.
So I guess what I’m saying is that how many people knew they were back? did they bring her with them? and where is she now? Rothley?
after all - they’ve made sure that all the attention is focused on Portugal, or anywhere but Britain, is where Madeleine is. Why couldn’t she be in Britain.
and is this why they totally ignore all bodies found - other than the recent Mari case. They know exactly where she is. and its here. somewhere.
