I don't think there's anything wrong with the State having a secular agenda, but they should be honest about it rather than pretending that it's minorities that are demanding secularisation. The fact remains a lot of people use Islam as an excuse in which to become politically correct. I meanJews do not eat pork, (Have a look I think you will find that Islam copied that as well as a few other tenets of the jewish faith) yet when was the last time you saw pigs getting banned for upsetting jews.
