OK… So why the current non-news story about Oprah and Walters?
What “news” are they trying to hide this weekend? Are they just using it to end discussions about the George Harrison Pig Farmer debacle?
Would they be allowed to go to America to do one of these interviews anyway?
If they were allowed to go to America… What would happen if they tried to stay there? Could they be invited to leave? What would happen if the Portuguese decided to “invite” them back whilst they were in America? Could they, the McCann’s, fight such an “invite” via the American courts?

couldnt have put it better myself, my oldest is 22 and my daughter is 9 nearly 10, i miss them being small, sandcastles and all that. precious memories. it goes so quick. I think that is why they anger me so much (the mccs) real loving parents know they are not normal in the way they are dealing with this.

I’ve read the chilenian online news site “noticias 123″ and had the article translated by babelfish, and the sentence (which I copy now from the babelfish translation) was:
“A technician in refrigeration, 40 years of age, assured to have seen a girl of physical similars characteristic near the museum of Gabriela Mistral, in Vicuña. The minor was accompanied [...] ”
I could give the link to “noticias”, but I’m not sure if it’s allowed.
Anyway, “near” or “in” is not that important, it’s probably only a different translation.
God, it took my almost half an hour to write this comment. English is not that easy.
Did you also have to smile a bit, when you read the “technician in refrigeration”-thing?

Almost every Hotel/Motel in the USA has the Gidean Bible in each guest room, it used to be standard, but now things are changing and one can not expect a Bible in every room, but I don’t know if Portugal has a Bible in every room or even if one is available if requested.

OK Saturn, maybe I am too hard on them thinking they have their share of responsibility for the initiating of the media circus. And to be fair, they probably never realised it would take those proportions. (Someone here described the snowball process). Let us say they only wanted to find their daughter and it started without their willingless. It is time for them to say now they have had enough of it. (Maybe K is already showing that she has).

very good post, i have been wondering today about the mccs twins, how are they going to be treated when they have to go to school, will they start to question their parents, they must be seeing and hearing things at the moment that isnt suitable for their age, as their parents seem to spend all of their time keeping themselves in the headlines!
