Does he have to speak with the McCanns detectives?

Marie, in an earlier thread someone said that children don’t need last rites or sacraments as they will go to “heaven” anyway. I could imagine that certain people, who turned VERY religious after an abduction… might not have known this and urgently needed comfort for whatever happened. Aie, with all of libel-things going on, notice that I try and phrase more and more like a bad lawyer
As for morality, I absolutely agree with you and the major part of posters on here: better care for your loved ones while they’re still alive.
And also: if she died, yes, may it have been quick, hopefully even subconscious. If she didn’t die, may she be indeed be treated like a princess, and not be at the hands of the paedophiles her parents refer to, without losing too much sleep about that idea IMHO.

I am not sure about the legal knowledge of Increasingly Ridiculous as Jo named him.
I trust Salomon much more ; I have read his posts many times and found them wise and accurate. He also has a broad view of things, and puts them into perpective. He didn’t seem to think a lot of Increasingly Ridiculous who is not concise and didn’t convey any idea at all really but was good at only one thing : challenging. After a little while it got boring.

The only times I’ve ever alluded to Murat even existing in this tragedy is when people talk about the two suspects and I merely remind them there are three suspects. I rather like to even up the playing field - make sure all players are on the field and none left on the bench.
Am I defending the Mccanns in your eyes? No, I can’t be that intelligent to defend someone or be cognizant that there are two sides to every story and attempt to present the other side just in case …- NO Way - I’m just a simple American, remember? No brains like those briliant, complex, thinking Europeans!

Anyway, moralité : It is best to take proper care of the ones you love when they are still alive, don’t you think? When they are dead, too late. What a waste. And the poor little girl, what an ordeal for her, whatever happened. On the other thread this morning a American poster said an accident and a sudden death were the least horrible thing the little one could have gone through. I agree.

Anyway..
One of the main reasons for thinking there is something DEEPLY fishy about the whole thing is, as Brit Abroad said, the weird behaviour of the British press.
When, for instance, Louise Woodward was accused in America of shaking a child to death, the press was very critical. In no way did she get the 100 per cent support the McCanns are getting.
Which definitely leads one to think the press is being leaned on.
And by whom? And why?
Today that Incredulous person banged on and on, obviously with a lot of legal knowledge.
Who was pulling his/her strings?
