Does he have to speak with the McCanns detectives?

Not sure if you’d agree to answer this, but this poster seems very similar to another. How closely are you able (do you choose to!) ensure that people dont change their ID’s without informing the other posters?
Are there any rules regarding claiming qualifications? This poster claims to have achieved a qualification which doesnt seem to be reflected in the quality and content of their posts.
He or she also wastes a heck of a lot of space and time (but I dont expect you to do anything about it, as we all could be charged with that!).

How can we have facts when the PJ FAILED to carryout their duties one would expect from a profesional police force. We are left with what we read,see and hear. You make your mind up.

If the PJ are not looking for more evidence, why do the McCanns keep providing more, with Mrs Cooper’s bizarre sighting which she sort of admitted in NOTW that she fabricated, and Gerry’s changing of the timeline to make abduction impossible.
While neither of these in isolation prove McCann guilt, both add to the catalogue of strangeness and conflicting stories being provided by the McCann camp.

I fear it is not the water retention capabilities of the DNA evidence that the McCanns should fear!
It is the indicative nature of this evidence, not the intrinsic admissability of that evidence, much like the cadaver dogs.
Anyway, were the McCanns as efficient in their child care as they claim, thats the key question. Maybe if they came clean on that, abduction might actually have been possible.
Could that be their secret trump card? They DIDNT check the kiddies?

and here in the real world, having already tried desperately to get the FSS to produce significant DNA evidence from just 17 damaged cells, what useful evidence are they about to gather?
They’ve had the car forensics, and they’ve not led anywhere - that’s part of the 17 cells…..and the flat’s been searched how many times (without showing anything like blood spatter pattern - because that’d be enough on its own to bring charges, which notably haven’t been brought)
As we know also, the original claimsto be “waiting phone records” from the UK were drivel - not least because the relevant records come from the NMS for the base stations/cells used, which is of course resident in Portugal….
So, where’s this new evidence likely to come from? Any thoughts?
Or is it more likely that everyone’s just hoping that the whole issue will go away….

Yes I believe thats right Brandon.
There’s no rush, if the McCanns and others thought Maddie was alive I’m sure they would have done anything to eliminate themselves from the enquiry as soon as possible.
As parents they’d never have left Portugal, no issue of self preservation would have put her ife at risk by wasting time on ’self’.
We’d certainly not see them wasting time avoiding answering a few questions which - I believe Clarence has claimed - will only go to prove their innocence.
