MINDFUL that grave space is running short, we read the Mirror’s story that a funeral car has become stuck on a speed bump.
The car carrying the family of one Tom Alty (RIP) is wedged on a traffic calming measure in Preston.
“It is unbelievable,” says Mr Alton’s son, David. “A family on the way to a funeral should not have to do this. Putting speed bumps in that road is outrageous.”
How will the funeral cortege get to the cemetery on time?
Unless, of course, it is already arrived at the “Life Long Learning Chapel Of Rest”.
