Carlos Anjos, head of the Portuguese Police Federation, says: “There are bigger problems in the police”, than the case of Madeleine McCann
Says Clarence Mitchell, the McCanns’ spokesman: “Mr Anjos is entitled to his opinion but it is entirely unhelpful”
This the same Carlos Anjos who once noted:
“There is no criminal investigation which can feed a news frenzy for six months, so what we have seen are both English and Portuguese journalists behaving in a scandalous and unprofessional way. Writing terrible stories in the papers, some of which have clearly affected the McCanns… now we have to say that the McCanns are partly to blame for this. Because it was something they created”
And then one of the oddest lines yet seen in a newspaper:
“Meanwhile cops have ruled out a theory the four-year-old could have been snatched by Swiss pervert Urs Hans Von Aesch. He blew his chance in august after killing a girl of five”
Anyone care to explain that comment?

Says Mr Anjos: “There are bigger problems than the Maddie case”
Why the Star should appear shocked at this seem unclear, given the tabloid stories of paedophilia being rife in Portugal
Says Mr Anjos: “I am certain that all of my colleagues involved in the investigation are doing everything they can to discover what happened”
DAILY MIRROR: “Maddy’s ‘not our priority’”
Mr Anjos made his views known in Portuguese newspaper 24 Horas

Why didn’t any of the people passing the front every 4 mins notice the person? window? shutters? door?
How did they get out without leaving a trace or disturb the growth on the window ledge? why are they carrying a pink blanket around?why didn’t they take the young blonde one.
Very kind of them to lock the front door whilst holding a heavy kid! that didn’t wake up!
Ohhhh! they could have jumped straight over the wall and onto the street a 20ft drop that would have broken both of their necks!

I don’t know! But let’s speculate.
Window/shutters : who passed? Tanner, Oldfield and O’Brien if I remember correctly.
Did they know the window/shutters had to be closed in stead of opened? Are they observant people? Did they have any reason at all to have a look at the apartment? Weren’t they rushing up and down to check their children and have dinner?
No trace on window ledge? How do we know? The papers or a formal statement by the PJ? And what if the abductor [IF there was any] leave through the front door or the patio doors?
No traces on window ledge then.
Pink blanket? Could that be Madeleine’s comfort blanket?
Young blonde: for illegal adoption more likely, for evil minds the eldest more preferred I guess.
Lock front door? Just close it and its locked, don’t you ever carry a child or groceries and shut the door with your feet?
Jumping over a wall? Why?

Somebody reviewed their ground floor apartment in April. they left after two days because they didn’t feel safe and booked into another hotel, even though they had prepaid!!
This was Adults so it’s a pretty safe bet that they wouldn’t have left kids in there. OOOOoooh!

Anorak host an awful lot of VERY bright and learnt people,including lawyers,doctors,to cite only a few professionals beside the fact that we are all looking to have justice made to Madeleine because SHE is the victim not her progenitors.

I don’t know how the lock on the front door works. Do you need a card [even when you're inside] to open it? If you don’t need a card I think the front door was most probably his/her [to please Matt.] exit way, Gerry was still talking to Wilkins. IF there was an abductor and IF Jane indeed saw him and isn’t mixing up things/evenings. Window/shutters opened to have a look if it was safe to leave.
A pity we really don’t know anything. It’s all guessing. Fingerprints on patio doors? Fingerprints on rope to open the shutters? Fingerprints on window? Fingerprints on inside of front door? OR erased fingerprints [is also a clue].
