Because it was broadcat on TV, and there has been no retraction, I think it should be taken
seriously…….see what the Press reaction is tomorrow.
As I said earlier, the Ribiero comments were meant to prepare us for the development and I
really believe the McCann Lawyers have had their input so the PJ probably now accept they have insufficient evidence. It”s probably why CM has remained quiet for the last few days,
because he knew already.
I don”t like what”s happening, but if the case is shelved and left open, the McCanns will
not be regarded as squeaky clean will they.? Joe Public is fed up with it all and, unlike us,
is not bothered about finding out the truth.

Yes, that is the least she deserves. Clarence is the voice of the McCanns but M has no voice, who’s speaking for her? Clarence seems only to be concerned with clearing the McCann’s names when the focus should still be on looking/searching for Maddie. Who’s doing this??

Yes, Ian, but most of us surely feel the case goes far beyond the McCann’s neglect.
The fear is that much more is involved.
So it the McCann’s are pursued for leaving their children…well, what purpose will it serve in getting at the truth of what happened?
They might get a slap on the wrist…not even that, as so many believe the newspapers and think they’re tragic victims of a predator.
What about the photo anomalies…the timeline farce…the sniffer dogs…the lack of support from the T7…Gerry’s weirdness about Murat…the boil-washed Cuddlecat…the changing photofits…the 8-month-late witnesses…the undisturbed lichen on the windowsill…the lies about doors locked/unlocked…
and so much more…

Saw on RTP1 this am 9am, a lot of fuss in newspaper review, from what i could make out Ribeiro and another official have to appear in their Parliament, the two opposition parties want them questioned, that is Rebeiro and co, for stupid statements. Saw something about PJ returning to Uk to quiz them. I did not get the impression that the PJ are just rolling over and ready to undo their arguido status.

I’m sorry but I simply can’t see why the Criminal Investigation Officers’ Union (ASFIC) of the PJ, Carlos Anjos , Carlos Anjos, say anything like that. It’s a copy paste article from that came from 24 horas, was translated to English papers, where he indeed stated that the PJ have more to do, but Carlos is NOT, I repeat is NOT the investigator office and him, above all, who has harshly criticized Alipio’s “slip”, he wouldn’t make a statement like that. No way.
Please boycott spin. Boycott the English media. They are interested in just one thing to sell.

Did we get the the bottom of how an ‘abductor’ supposedly gained access to 5A.? Someone on SKY said that the front door was locked because the locking mech was faulty and so the Mcs tended to come and go through the patio doors. Anyone else heard that?
I can’t understand why a simple explanation of what was locked and what wasn’t is not readily available. Why can’t this be established - presumably Clarence knows.

Look, lets get this into perspective.
1. This is all unsubstantiated rumours (there have been a few, remember!).
2. Even if case shelved, finger of suspicion definately not lifted
3. If they have status lifted - doesnt mean they are innocent and opens the way for neglect charges.
4. Clarence would be crowing - he isnt is he.
So please, lets not get excited!

This has nothing to do with Clarence.
He’s just been on a holding operation for all these months.
This is our government leaning on the Portuguese government - for reasons we don’t know but which have been discussed here, I’m sure.
Either a top-level paedophile ring…or something to do with nuclear fuels, or any of the 100 theories which have been posted.
We can only hope that one day the truth about this little girl will come out.

Unsubstantiated yet again, wheres the portuguese source? Would they seriously announce plans to let the McCanns off like that?
Probably they are said to be coming to question the McCanns and this might lead to them no longer being suspects (official ones) but it could go the other way could it not?
As I said, unsubstantiated and to be added to the long list of previous claims which proved to be so much noise.

Thanks for confirming the news I posted this morning. It was on the 11.45am ITV 1 News, but scrolling through it seems there were some doubting Thomas”es who didn”t believe it.
Clouseau will be pleased as well, he /she reported the PJ were coming over to interview the Tapas 9 but some found it unbelievable because they had not seen the evidence with their own eyes.
Strange isn”t it that all the posting here is based on speculation and imagination, yet
something true is questioned.

Any of our portuguese posters here - as this is purprted to be sourced to a Portuguese paper.
Its seem highly unlikely that after all the fuss in portugal about the comments being made they’d suddenly rush over, question them with the message, we are only doing this to clear you . More like Clarence spin.
