i really wouldnt be surprised if their status is lifted….what i cant understand is why they have not been charged with neglect as i dont see how anyone can argue for their innocence of neglect…it is a fact the children were neglected and on more than one occassion. Administrator: Fine. I will give an explanation here. The moderators are aware there may be a concerted effort to form and shape opinion here. Nothing wrong with that if posters are open and honest about what they are about. Where languages (any languages) other than English are used it is a distraction to other posters and the Moderators.
The Moderators will not translate blocks of text. They do not have the time they are very busy. They will remove it and if the poster continues there will be a parting of the ways. This is not meant to be a heavy action…it’s just common sense.
The McCann story is complex enough without Mods and posters falling out about just what a phrase or word means. If you wish to use material from other languages translate it and credit the original publication and author. If you wish to converse in another language this is not the site to do it and if you use a phrase it should be translated in the interest of openness and understanding. -agw

I think all the recent comments re “hasty”" decision to make the McCanns Aguidos etc was to
pave the way for it being lifted. None of us know for sure what the status of the letters is and
I suspect the McCanns Lawyers have had a hand in this and maybe the PJ know they havn”t got enough evidence to charge them .Unless a body is found there is no other alternative,
I can”t see the PJ being willing to spend any more money on investigation. It”s all very sad,
that maybe justice for Madeleine will never be done.
The thought crossed my mind last November as to why the Pj did not question the Tapas 9 when they were in the U.K. the letters could have been sent well before then, but as I have
said before, none of them would have remembered what they said months ago, so what would
have been achieved?

In spain,people and very few,actually, are just off the whole case.
They cant be bothered anymore.
What is left is very much pain for Madeleine and the making of cash out of her tragedy.

Don”t know how to go back to previous postings. re your last night one.
The news I posted about the Arguido status being lifted hasn”t caused any reaction here, did you already know? this will pave the way for the film, more interviews etc, all to try and raise money to keep searching fo Madeleine no doubt IMO
