This whole thing could be like a game of chess imo, i personally hope they wouldnt have gone so far and been so padantic (spelling sorry) if they really had nothing to go on, its a matter of pride and an international case of interest. I have said before, if they really had nothing, nothing whatsoever wouldnt it have been easier to have gone with the abduction theory and slunk into the wings so to speak.

I am trying to think what to make of the news.
I wonder why the PJ are talking of lifting the arguidos status, and even of closing the case without resolving it unless new contradictions arise from the interrogations.
Does it mean they really are preparing the public, and they really intend to shelve the case. But then, why bother to go on with the interrogations?
Or, they could say that now in order to give a false sense of security to the arguidos and witnesses before the interrogations. Maybe they don’t want them to think they have evidence? Maybe they are underplaying their trumps on purpose.
Who knows?
