Imad Mughniyah Is As Dead As Bin Laden

by | 13th, February 2008

IMAD Mughniyah is dead.

Imad Mughniyah is dead, killed in Damascus by a car bomb at the age of 45. Mughniyah was believed to have been Hezbollah’s chief of military operations, and his assassination marks the first time a major figure in the movement has been killed since secretary-general Abbas Musawi in 1992—an assassination which brought the current secretary-general, Hasan Nasrallah, to power.

His achievements:

Mughniyah was indicted for the 1994 bombing of a Jewish community center in Buenos Aires, which killed 85 people, and was the subject of an arrest warrant for the 1992 bombing of the Israeli embassy there, in which 29 people died.

A mass murderer:

Our Israeli sources claim to see Mughniyeh’s signature on the wreckage in New York and Washington. How to counter this kind of terrorism? “To fight these bastards you don’t need a military attack,” said an experienced Israeli commando officer. “You only need to adopt Israel’s assassination policy.”

Are we winning the War on Terror?
