Analysing statements, eh. Technical stuff…
In his internet blog yesterday, Gerry McCann vowed not to give up looking for his young daughter, adding: “We hope the police are similarly determined”

A “source” says: “It sounded like they were concerned about timeline inconsistencies. But if you have nine people not wearing watches, it would be suspicious if their times matched exactly”

Recently I told Kitty, our youngest child, that the police car had pulled us over because she was screaming in the back of the car (in fact I was, stupidly, speeding, but partly as a result of her noise). She is now mousey-quiet on journeys. My caprice over the tooth fairy has reached such an extent that the correspondence between “Molly” and my daughter Agnes fills two whole shoe boxes.
Then there are the areas that I don’t really want them to know the whole truth about. Will they get scared if I tell them that Madeleine McCann, whose picture they have seen everywhere, was taken from her bed? What about the news stories of dogs biting children to death? Will they ever go near next door’s puppy again? To me, vagueness with the truth is part of being a human being and certainly part of being a parent. But apparently, I am deeply wrong.
Maybe Katie’s children can read the truth in her article?

I would want each person to make up their own mind about watching that movie, as it can have a profound change on your life, and not all for the good. Perhaps some will watch it now and some never will want to, and others may come back to it after some time, when things start clicking in their head from watching current events and they wonder…
I have to admit that I did wonder if your fervent post yesterday when you first mentioned your reaction to the movie, if it was the result of regular pot smoking. After I saw the movie, though, I knew you had your head screwed on right (unless I AM mental, in which case you’re as crazy as me, lol).
I do think there dangers inherent in pot smoking and both short-term and long-term problems that can develop from it. I also think smoking cigarettes and drinking have both positive and negative effects to them, but they are legal poisons. Why isn’t pot then? But I have read and heard that the pot on the streets today is many times stronger than when I tried it way back when. I wouldn’t want my kids messing with it, ever, particularly since we have biochemical problems that run in the family already.

I too thought it would be interesting to have a Zeitgeist forum as there is so much to discuss. My next thought was to wonder how much this would deflect from the discussion on the fate of Madeleine?
Perhaps the powers that be would enjoy the lessening of the Madeleine debate, if that was the outcome. We would have to ensure equal attention to both forums.
But it is essential to permanently highlight the ways in which we are already being controlled in so many areas by behind the scenes activities we seem to have so little power to resist.

Please believe that nothing was further from my thoughts. I have no quarrel with the way any behind the scenes activities influence what happens on this forum.
My remarks were meant to indicate that the McCs, Clarrie, the Trols et al would be delighted if the interest in their activities were to lessen because of interest in a forum for Zeitgeist, thus leaving them free to promote their propoganda. Other control over our thoughts is indicated in the Zeitgeist movie itself.

I’m a firm believer it is an adult’s right to smoke if they want as they usually have maturity and common sense and know the laws and consequences. But I think teens don’t have anywhere near the maturity nor common sense when it comes to drugs. That is why they are easy prey for drug dealers!
