Any reason why they were quizzed once more?
A judicial source tells Portuguese newspaper 24 Horas: “Several police interviews have been repeated. The statements are being analysed to try to find any lead that could result in a new line of investigation”
Analysing statements, eh. Technical stuff…
In his internet blog yesterday, Gerry McCann vowed not to give up looking for his young daughter, adding: “We hope the police are similarly determined”

Three of the McCanns’ freins witll be spoken to by police.
A “source” says: “It sounded like they were concerned about timeline inconsistencies. But if you have nine people not wearing watches, it would be suspicious if their times matched exactly”

Recently I told Kitty, our youngest child, that the police car had pulled us over because she was screaming in the back of the car (in fact I was, stupidly, speeding, but partly as a result of her noise). She is now mousey-quiet on journeys. My caprice over the tooth fairy has reached such an extent that the correspondence between “Molly” and my daughter Agnes fills two whole shoe boxes.
Then there are the areas that I don’t really want them to know the whole truth about. Will they get scared if I tell them that Madeleine McCann, whose picture they have seen everywhere, was taken from her bed? What about the news stories of dogs biting children to death? Will they ever go near next door’s puppy again? To me, vagueness with the truth is part of being a human being and certainly part of being a parent. But apparently, I am deeply wrong.
Maybe Katie’s children can read the truth in her article?

Yes. And although I don’t believe in a conspiracy of the politicians involved to cover up for the McC’s [because I think they are not that important] this does make me a bit suspicious.
Even if they left the OCR and went back to their country [eg the UK] they must have talked to friends. And the friends to friends…. Why-oh-why haven’t we heard of any other people then the McC’s, their friends, Cooper, Smith, Gordon, the two sisters, Wilson&wife and that’s it?!? Hell, I am also a nosey cow

Congratulations on your newly acquired skills! Thanks for posting those reports. We can only hope they are based on true facts because it sounds very promising to me that the case is moving forward and the PJ have substantial knowledge of the case. If Madeleine is indeed dead, and if her body has not been destroyed, the sooner the body is found, the sooner this case can be successfully resolved.

Hello All,
Just a thought: when in nature mothers destroy their young (which happens sometimes), they always make sure that there is no trace of the body. They either eat a cub(pup) whole, or otherwise remove any traces of their actions. The mother would also stay strangely playful, as if nothing happened. (when the young are taken by a predator or other kind of an evil abductor, mothers fight and then grieve hard). In Zoos keepers often find that a young baby animal disappeared, and the mum carries on as if oblivious to it.
Couple of days ago a young female dwarf hamster gave birth to a baby, did not bother much to feed him. Her own mother had to come and warm him up. Yesterday the baby disappeared without a trace.
The mum spends her time running on the wheel and grooming herself.
A sourse close to the hamsters asked the grandma hamster about the Portugal abduction story. She looked cheeekily at my sourse and asked: “what have they been eating all together at the bar on the night, and why did they need so much drink with it?”

Common sense can’t be replaced by a law. But you can teach people about which consequenses their actions might have.
Example: it is forbidden to cross the street when the traffic light is red.
Nevertheless many pedestrians do it. Even many pedestrians do it when they’ve got their children with them. Mummy does it, Daddy does it, so it’s okay. That’s the lesson these kids learn. So they are going to cross the street, whether the light is red or not. And who’s to blame when they get hit by a car? Yes, the car’s driver should have been more careful [maybe] but it all started with the perfect example by their parents.

Yes exactly. Normally there would be statements from people (other than the Tapas ? ) who were around the complex at the time. I don’t recall seeing or hearing any. There must have been others there apart from the McCanns & co and yes most guests would probably have left the complex on the 5th but surely their presence in the area of the alleged abduction would be vital. We only ever hear from the McC’s companions or their friend Jess W. There must have been others around surely??
