Police searching for Madeleine McCann are also investigating five attempted child abductions in northern Portugal. They began when a nine-year-old girl was bundled into a car as she got off her school bus. Two more children were attacked last month and last Thursday two men tried to lure a girl of nine into a car. Last Saturday, another child escaped abduction. One police source said: “It is causing a lot of alarm.”

The parents of missing Irish expat Amy Fitzpatrick have offered a cash reward for information on her whereabouts. Franco Rey, spokesman for Amy’s Stepfather David Mahon and Amy’s mum Audrey, said: “A substantial reward is on offer to anyone who can provide reliable information on Amy’s whereabouts. Any information received will be treated within the strictest confidence.”

The family of five-year-old Mari Luz, snatched from her home in Huelva in south-west Spain on January 13, is offering €300,000 for information on her whereabouts. Rewards totalling £2.6m were offered within 10 days of Madeleine McCann’s disappearance on May 3 last year from the Algarve holiday resort of Praia da Luz.

Mari Luz’s father, Juan José Cortés, said after a meeting with Manuel Chaves, President of the Junta de Andalucía, this weekend, that, while he is not against collaborating in the search for Madeleine and ‘even helping to draw up a poster of all the missing youngsters,’ the lines of investigation into the disappearance of the two young girls are distinct, and are being carried out in two separate countries. EFE [Spanish news agency] said he is considering taking legal action for using his daughter’s image for the campaign.

The kidnapps again: do you think that these attempts have been true (some stangers were trying to kidnap girls in differnt cities) semi-true, the attempts were true lies, a staged by mnetodo 3 people, or 100 per cent lies? I have read the statements of one of the girls’ father

Well, against my better judgement I looked at the Alex Jones site, I’m afraid I think it is just another money making scheme based on paranoia.
MOAH, whilst I am sure you believe passionately in this, and I applaud you for it, it still doesn’t provide any concrete evidence.
Once again it is just a different interpretation of available information presented to put forward a particular point of view.
It doesn’t make it neither truth or fact.

Just 2 days ago i was listening to the undertaker who dealt with the body of Lee Harvey Oswald. He described in detail how the secret servicemen brought the rifle into the morgue, inked the deceased hand and faked the prints. He’s about 85 years of age and seems a very articulate and sensible old man. Alex Jones is currently making a new documentary all about the JFK assassination.

FIVE attempts to kidnapping in a month… and all in Portugal! Precisely in Portugal. Not in Italy, Spain, France or the U.K. No, no, IN PORGUGAL!!!!
I have no words to say what I think of all of them. I sincerely think that not only the pair, but a lot more (Metodo 3 people, Mitchell, tapas, family, fund suppliers) have openly breaking the law. Hope FTBOMH, that Portuguese proud, the honour of their institutions and their turistical interests will be enough to fight until the end in this horrendous scandal. Until the end, until its last consequences, caiga quien caiga (whoever may fall and whatever high will be the involved). Pls, Portuguese, never give up! We are with you!
