Madeleine McCann: Scare Stories, Kate McCann’s Job And No Mari Luz
MADDYWATCH - Anorak’s at-a-glance guide to press coverage of Madeleine McCann
DAILY EXPRESS: “FIVE ATTEMPTED KIDNAPS LINK TO MADELEINE CASE”
“Detectives searching for Madeleine McCann are now investigating a spate of attempted child abductions across Portugal.
“At least five kidnap attempts have been reported in the past month, leading officers from the Madeleine team to examine the details for possible connections.”
What of the headline “link” to Madeleine McCann – well, the alleged attempted kidnappings all occurred in Portugal
But “Last week Justice Minister Alberto Costa revealed that the head detective, Paulo Rebelo, was coming to the end of his case”, says the WORLD’S GREATEST NEWSPAPER
Says Clarence Mitchell, the McCanns’ spokesman: “It’s alarming to hear that this sort of thing can happen, particularly in a country that is so aware of the potential for abduction”
DAILY MIRROR: “Maddy: 5 scares in Portugal”
Police searching for Madeleine McCann are also investigating five attempted child abductions in northern Portugal. They began when a nine-year-old girl was bundled into a car as she got off her school bus. Two more children were attacked last month and last Thursday two men tried to lure a girl of nine into a car. Last Saturday, another child escaped abduction. One police source said: “It is causing a lot of alarm.”
DAILY MAIL: “Madeleine McCann’s disappearance is ‘linked to a string of child abductions’”
Police investigating Madeleine McCann’s disappearance have been alerted over a spate of attempted child abductions in northern Portugal, it has been revealed. At least four children have been targeted in the last month in the region of Coimbra, where a nine-year-old girl escaped from an abductor in December.
It’s five children. The Express and Mirror both say its five
KATE McCANN: “Meanwhile, it is understood Kate McCann is quitting her job as a locum GP to devote her life to children’s charities. Mrs McCann has not returned to work since Madeleine’s disappearance in May and has reportedly told friends she feels she has a lot to offer charity organisations.
THE SCOTSMAN: “Torment of Madeleine’s family ‘is like being crucified’”
Kate McCann’s mother Susan Healey says: “It is almost like being crucified day to day. I read the most stupid things about Kate not crying enough or whatever”
Adding: “Kate and Gerry know they made a mistake and shouldn’t have left the children, they know that, but they certainly don’t deserve what has happened to them. If the Portuguese can’t find out what happened to Madeleine, we have to find out. There is no way Madeleine will fade into insignificance”
Gerry McCann is a “surgeon”
IRISH INDEPENDENT: “Missing Amy’s parents offer cash reward”
The parents of missing Irish expat Amy Fitzpatrick have offered a cash reward for information on her whereabouts. Franco Rey, spokesman for Amy’s Stepfather David Mahon and Amy’s mum Audrey, said: “A substantial reward is on offer to anyone who can provide reliable information on Amy’s whereabouts. Any information received will be treated within the strictest confidence.”
And:
Dubliner Mr Mahon (36) has also travelled to Tangiers in northern Morocco to investigate the possibility the teenager was snatched and taken to Africa.
Rewards have also been offered for missing Briton Madeleine McCann and missing Spanish girl Mari Luz Cortes. The family of five-year-old Mari Luz, snatched from her home in Huelva in south-west Spain on January 13, is offering €300,000 for information on her whereabouts. Rewards totalling £2.6m were offered within 10 days of Madeleine McCann’s disappearance on May 3 last year from the Algarve holiday resort of Praia da Luz.
TYPICALLY SPANISH: “parents of missing Mari Luz are against her image being used in a Madeleine McCann poster campaign”
Mari Luz’s father, Juan José Cortés, said after a meeting with Manuel Chaves, President of the Junta de Andalucía, this weekend, that, while he is not against collaborating in the search for Madeleine and ‘even helping to draw up a poster of all the missing youngsters,’ the lines of investigation into the disappearance of the two young girls are distinct, and are being carried out in two separate countries. EFE [Spanish news agency] said he is considering taking legal action for using his daughter’s image for the campaign.

Man On A Hill
When things happen any government will exploit it to their own advantage - they’d be daft to look weak or unprepared, they wouldn’t last long.
But 9/11 was not an inside job. Neither was 7/7. AIDS has not been beneficial to anyone.
I’m related to 2 politicians and several more are family friends - I hear a lot of shocking gossip, but it’s only the kind of corruption/incompetence you get in any institution.

Man on the Hill,
If anyone mentions saving me or helping me, I run up that dam mountain just as fast as I can.
The guy who says he will give me nothing - I will spend much time with him.
Why - because he is honest.
For fun you should type in 666 and then the female american prez candidate. You will get thousands of pages. Some very funny. But just shows you how many people are aware of her pure lust for power and the very depths she will plunge to to achieve that.
But speak to a lot of middle class American women and they are voting for her.
Why - because of her sex. We as a species are pathetic. Just think the critical mass could be attained in the next moment. Keep up hope.
Off to yoga, will catch up later.

I always enjoy reading your posts. Fair, insightful, and informative.
I agree with your position on this matter. For the most part, we only know what the media has printed. Until the official facts are presented, we cannot be certain of what is true as to the level of guilt or innocence of the McCanns. You are right to insist on not passing judgment before all the facts are in.

My husband escaped from an eastern European country under the thumb of communism 25 years ago. He is no friend of Communists. He was very impressed with the information presented in Zeitgeist and thinks it is genuine and truthful. He spends a lot of time watching history programs and listening to information on the radio as well, so much of what we saw, confirms what we’ve learned elsewhere.
No one wants to believe that people are capable of these terrible crimes against humans, particularly against citizens of their own country, but doesn’t that happen all the time in other countries, on an even greater scale than what we’ve seen on 9/11 and 7/7? There are some people who have no conscience and because of their great ambitions, usually they end up running things, to our great misfortune.

Being pro or anti has nothing to do with health. There are some honest people both sides, and some biassed people both sides.
As, like you, I tend to believe that there is something far from clear in the “innocent version” of the case, in a way you and I are on the same side. But I hate to treat the pros as if they were liars, stupid, or whatever, and all the bad faith was on their side, as opposed to the the antis who would be the defenders of morale. Treating them in a peremptory (I am not sure this is a good English word) way, trying to make them feel guilty, is certainly no proof that you and I are on the “healthy” side.
I refuse to be brought into that view of things. I am not afraid to hear views which are different from mine. I don’t hate the people who hold them. I don’t think they are unhealthy. Nobody is going to make me feel ashamed about that.
I don’t believe I hold the truth. I want the truth to be known about the case, no more, no less. I will make my own judgement according to the facts, and not for fear of incuring reproaches, from whatever side they come.

Forgive my ignorance folks.
THere’s a fellow in the 3A site that seems to have a very robust account of what happened on the 3rd of May and how Madeleine left the room.
He refers to a fellow called Geraghty who was allegedly in possession of the car used to take Madeleine from the room.
Who is this Geraghty I’ve never heard of him. Any help appreciated.

Actually I think we might be beaing too fair, after all the Pro-McCanners are absolute in their belief, maybe we should be absolute in ours?

Can you explain the collapse of WTC no7 without presenting a case for a fascist government in control? They seem to be pretty f**kin organised to me. Do you understand the danger you are in from your own government. 7/7 was an inside job. The M case has spread fear and panic throughout europe. Ask yourself who benefits from this most. I never said that the people in charge were anything other than mad and that they would most likely fight with themselves (but they hate poor people more). That’s why they gave us Aids (disagree - then tell me where Aids came from).

re. Zeitgeist the movie
The one thing the movie maker encourages people who watch the movie to do is to use the information provided as a starting pleace and to continue to search and confirm information through other sources.
I can tell you that from my own observation and study, that the political facts presented ring very true. Pearl Harbor was a set up to get America into WWII. The government knew the attack was coming, wanted to it to come, and did nothing to prevent it, thereby allowing thousands of sailors and other personnel to be attacked, injuried, and killed. These people were expendable for the wider objective of getting the military/industrial complex wealthy and making investors wealthier. The Gulf of Tonkin attack on US vessels was another false flag operation perpetrated by the US government to get the US into a war with Vietnam, costing 58,000 US lives and untold damage to others, as well as the loss of 3,000,000 Vietnamese lives.
What makes you think that a few thousand New Yorkers matter to these unprincipled, unscrupulous people who think of themselves and their own agendas before anyone else. They are mentally ill (imo) and play very dangerous games.
Zeitgeist also talks about the manipulation of the public and economy to create the disaster of stock market crash in 1929 and the depression that follows. How many people know that the Federal Reserve Bank in the US is actually a private bank, not government-related, and that every dollar that is issued from it is loaned at interest. That every dollar in the US economy comes from the Federal Reserve Bank. I did not know this. As Zeitgeist the movie states, the Federal Reserve Bank is as federal as Federal Express is.
Did you know that Americans were ordered to surrender their gold in 1933 and then currency switched from being based on the gold standard (able to be traded for gold) to just becoming legal tender (meaning worthless paper, depending on the amount of money in circulation)? http://jimbovard.com/blog/2006/12/06/the-great-gold-robbery/
Don’t dismiss this film without watching the last half of it, particularly, and without doing some research on it, following your viewing. Just pick one item from the film that is new to you and research it in-depth to find the truth. You will find that this information can be confirmed by reliable sources, if you look. Once you uncover the truth for yourselfd about one item, you’ll be motivated to continue following the leads that Zeitgeist has put in an easy-to-understand (and be horrified by) format.
If someone does start a thread on this subject in the forums, I’m there!!

Prison Planet is just another wind up money making site.
Unfortunately this statement is not true. Why is it so hard to believe that a group of powerful people are controlling all the resources of the planet.
As there is no difference between the markets and the currencies, even the nationalities, the players, the leaders are playing a game that is quite transparent if you are just willing to look at it and tie in the edges.

I’m Anti to the extent that I don’t like the McCanns.
I was watching a documentary the other day about Robert Black (the child killer) - parents were interviewed whose children were missing. They cried. Some frantically and some quietly but they all looked heartbroken - and the McCanns don’t.
However I’m open-minded about whither the did it or not.
