I can assure you, the PJ are playing it long. They know exactly what happened and are going to make damn sure they can prove it. Do not underestimate the intensity of the anger against the suspects, as the Portuguese face the ruination of the Algarve as a family tourist destination.

You are right on that one, nearly 10 months is a long time to play anything, and thats after asking for extra time. They aint gor zilch, zero nuthin, big eggy faces alround just in time for easter, now how about finding out about Madeleine rather than the neglectful duo.

Whoever is charging the Fund for running the Find Madeleine website is really getting money for old rope. The news and press release section has not been updated for 20 days and Gerry’s blogs have been updated once since the new site was launched. As this is the main official Madeleine site I would have thought they would have taken the time and effort to keep it up to date.

I don’t ‘do’ plants as such but this was a Chrsitmas present and I was so pleased with myself for growing it……

Your post has put me in mind of a ‘psychic’(?) called Mathew James who runs a daily tarot site on the internet. I dont put much store in that kind of thing as I dont have any evidence one way or the other. But I do tap into it from time to time as he seems to be running a Madeleine psychic watch.

There is something towards the end of the post that echoes some of the stuff you are writing about. MJ has previously said that she was taken for a particular reason but the parents are not aware of who what or why. They are simply victims of the plot.

Morning all.
No new thread today?
Thank you to Red Rooster and all those last night who considered donating to my fund. I shall be eternally grateful.
But, on reflection, I have decided that instead of jetting off on holiday I shall stay here.
My anorak addiction is becoming worse, and I feel that the withdrawal symptoms, coupled with the loss of my job, will be impossible to cope with alone.
So, I’m staying by my computer, with my hot chocolate, marshmallows and fags and reading our bestest forum in the world ever.

The McCanns strategy appeared to be carefully considered. At first they were showing solidarity with the Cortés, and later they also closer to family Vargas. Then we announced in the British press that the McCanns would launch a campaign to raise funds abroad. That’s when the case becomes controversial posters with a large portrait of Madeleine and much less portraits Yeremi and Mari Luz. The posters have a black background and an inscription in Spanish: we will not forget. Black clearly evokes mourning and the title of the poster also refers to the grief at the loss of someone that we will not do. These posters are very different from those proposed by the family Cortés red background and with the title: on the research that pointed out the idea that one is looking for a child alive.
From the viewpoint of McCanns, the aim was to make a large-scale operation aimed at appropriating one hand, the positive image of Cortés and Vargas and on the other hand to bring in the money the coffers nearly empty fund Find Madeleine.
For Vargas and Cortés was an operation to free promotion, an opportunity to be seized in some way. Both sides appeared thus winning.
Yet, the negative perception of McCanns in Spanish public opinion could not only damage the image of Cortés and Vargas, but more importantly the money they could raise their children to find where to pay any ransom would be Party for a party to the funds Find Madeleine.
