Juan Jose Cortes, father of the missing girl, says: “Why didn’t they ask us? The three cases are not connected. We are with our lawyers.”
McCanns’ spokesman Clarence Mitchell says: “We did have permission from the family”

brandon - we don’t let many die on our ward .. unlike K McC, but of course you get attached and its ok to have a cry, often it helps the relatives to know that we care.
In difficult times the ward kitchen is a haven, tea and hugs freely available from collegues…
occasionally you take it home with you - but mostly thats when you’re angry at how the patient has been treated (mostly undignified and intrusive medical procedures performed unnecessarily ) but fortunately that is only in very rare cases..

I am poor and penniless - mainly because I have a daughter at school and a daughter at university (and a spendthrift Mrs B). But I want a summer holiday.
I have been to the Algarve twice before (Villamora) and thought it was fantastic. So, as a mercenary, does anyone know if the bottom has fallen out of the Algarve holiday market - and so can I pick up a bargain?
And, more importantly, as a Brit will all the Portuguese hate me? Being mega sceptical about the Mcconns, I would feel hard done to to be lumped in with all the sun reading, pink shirt wearing, politicos and other assorted supporters.

and later when i came to the drug round a couple started singing ‘help’ (beatles)

£270 is all it takes. However, I tried to join, I think man on a hill might be on to something, I got into the applcation form but there was one mandatory section I couldn’t fill in so couldn’t complete my application.
It seems these people really are the powerfull elite, check this;

Ian - is there a transcript available of G McC’s speech at the police bravery awards??
His one at the media award thingamybobby was very interesting. He was asked where did he see the find maddie campaign going in the long term and he waffled on for a minute or so about broadening to more general issues etc etc etc, but never once mentioned maddie.
So in reference to the long term objectives of the find maadie campaign, finding maddie had already become irrelevent.

Thats why I want something done about this childrens act.
There was a link for a petition at the weekend for kids under 12.
I personally think that is too old, maybe 9 or 10.
But something has to be done, as it is sending out all the wrong messages!
I hope she is found very soon.
Cynically though it will be interesting to see how the media act if she is from an estate and her parents are out of work.
