Sorry to intervene - but how can you make that statement - ‘nothing happened before May 3rd’?
There are many indications that the McCanns pre-planned May 3rd, for example, the discussion with ‘Jez’s wife’ on May 2nd about their ‘child care’ arrangements.
Why so much effort to publicise what even the most hardened ‘loose control’ parent would have been keeping under their hat?
Children crying for parents who were not in the locality, complaints to ‘Mark Warner’….so why are you so sure?
I strongly suspect actions before May 3rd are vital - I do not beleive that Madeleine had survived to May 3rd.

Finding out ‘what happened’ to Madeleine as opposed to the McCann cry of ‘finding Madeleine’.
I have always argued that the secret is not in ‘hunts’ and balloon releases and posters etc, but in clearing up the events which led to madeleine no longer being with her ‘parents’.
That is absolutely the right suggestion - find out what happened that night and you will find out where she is.
It was the fact that the McCanns always cried ‘abduction’ but would not focus and clarify the events of the night (and still fail to) which has raised suspicion in the minds of many.

Sadly, its likely that the McCanns will continue to muddy the waters - with the involvement of ‘law readers’ the chances of the facts being laid out before us are pretty remote.

To eliminate every possibility. I could just think yes - they reported an abduction and go and post a message of support on the Find Madeleine website (incidentally there have been 34 posted so far today). Alternatively I can think a little deeper before making a decision.

Trying to catch up but reather difficult.
The case is very far to being shelved.
By the end of the month something will happen.
The PJ have been in the uk watching since months on end,compiling all sorts of evidence and facts and ….more than we can possibly imagine.

I want to add something to what I just posted about playing with the children : even through play, I think it can be harmful for them to have their anxieties woken up and revived at a moment when they aren’t ready for it.
Like Ian, I don’t feel comfortable about it.
But Ian, I don’t feel comfortable either with the “shame list”. I don’t want to be part of a group which gets reinforcement from the exclusion of others.

Afternoon.
Is it possible that since the twins slept so soundly , whilst the abduction and subsequent kerfuffle went on,
like sofas being upturned, beds, cupboards and freezers searched, whilst the mother sat screaming in the midst of the carnage,
that the twins - sound sleepers as they are - would not have known what day it was when they were finally woken from their sleep.
And at the age of two, wouldn’t the very fact that Mummy and Daddy told you Madeleine disappeared while you were asleep last night
a. make them believe it
b.give them the screaming abdabs about sleeping every again?
strange in that case how numerous photos appeared when they were asleep.
I think I’d have been too afraid to shut my eyes in case the bad man came for me.
IMO
I know my son had nightmares for weeks after an innocent remark about a blind man.
His grandmother meant someone was coming to fit blinds to the window.
Wonderful to have such sound sleepers in the family
