Not quite to do with madeleine but the news is being looped on Sky that police have found the gun that Killed little Rhys Jones in Liverpool. They have had it a while but have now identified it via ballistics. Hope they can now get the shooter. Apparently they know who he is but everyone is scared of the extended family he is part of……. horrendous!
Inane local reporte said that……. ‘ its six months on and the parents still haven’t come to terms with the tragedy’…. wow a whole six months! I doubt even six years down the line they’ll have come to terms with it!

DCB - i don’t know what their normal routine is - i doubt that maddie sleeps in the same room as them at home, so whether they would think it strange who knows.
I do know that if they had asked where she was, say at bed time and the parents had given a ‘normal’ response, then children that age will accept it as normal, and generally not question it again. eg She’s sleeping over with the her friend tonight..
Parents mislead their children all the time, without question or doubt, otherwise how do we explain that they believe in santa or the tooth fairy until they are older and start to question more deeply.. ?

Regarding point 1
If (as you say) by waiting till the night of the 3rd it thus enabled them to plan the events leading up to a false abduction then why claim that Madeleine was at the creche on that day? Knowing full well that the likelyhood of anyone giving them an alibi to be zero? They could quite easily have gone away for the day instead of parading around the pool side etc. And do you think (with all this planning needed) that Gerry would have time, let alone the arrogance, to play tennis?
Regarding point 2
Tanner had a daughter of similar age. What it not be easy for the PJ to ask if she had been playing with Maddie yesterday?
Point 3
We dont indeed. But they do claim they feel something happened to her on May 3rd.

Old hat it might be.
I’ve not seen it before, and there maybe others like me.
Some of us work, and don’t have time to trawl the internet constantly.
I thought it was interesting, considering it was written in May last year.

Ian,
The poster has been here since before the creation of Stevo’s website. The poster has had several names; he is not a professional pro-, but a low quality troll with grammar problems. Ignoring him is the action of choice.

Good points as ever Garth, thanks.
My response…
1. One of the arguments made that they didnt do anything on 3rd of May is that they didnt have time to sort it out. If this argument is valid, then an event prior to that removes the problem. I dont think all were involved, I suspect 4 of them and I think they did think it through and plan it for 3rd May.
2. There were 10 little blonde children, female. Of course we dont know the circumstances but I suspect it might have been pretty easy to manage - most people know only their own kids (I’ve some experience regarding the confusion of these situations as I have kids and delivered them to and picked them up from nursery school etc).
3. We dont know what the PJ are thinking.

..and forget about it, brush it under the carpet….talk for years and years about abductors…let the McCanns start lecturing us on cross border security and how to protect our kids?
I dont think so - its the primary intention of the McCanns and their supporters - lets direct blame at mysterious abductors and away from the failed parents.

Ian
Lets put a little logic to all of this.
And so for arguments sake lets say something did happen prior to May 3rd. Answer some of these questions if you will……….
1 Why would they wait until May 3rd to claim the abduction, knowing full well they would have to cover their tracks.
2 Why state that Madeleine was at the creche on May 3rd when by all accounts someone would have seen her. Nannies?
3 Why do the PJ claim that they believe an accident happened on the night of May 3rd?

That’s one of the reasons I can’t get my head around this theory that something happened BEFORE May 3rd.
How could they have trusted the twins to keep quiet at the creche on the 3rd if Madeleine wasn’t there. They would be bound to ask for her, or to look for her if they hurt themselves etc.
I can accept that the creche staff may not know the difference between Madeleine and A.N.Other, but the twins certainly would have.
*****************************
The twins would have gone to the Creche but Maddie would have gone to the Kids club, two different things! That is why they said they were all reunited later in the day.

There is no way on this earth that I (and many others) will forget the root cause of the whole affair.
We owe it to Madeleine and millions of kids - to send a message to all parents -
