….how comes she didnt grab the child and run away go to the first cop in sight or whatever……???? I just dont understand the need for this kind of “news”

I’ve made my concerns and the reasoning behind them very clear to him and he acknowledged them. If he doesn’t take them seriously by putting words into action after that, what will repeating myself a third time do?
I’m a firm believer in ‘A word to the wise is sufficient…’ and don’t like to waste my time with someone who is determined not to hear.
It wouldn’t hurt for the supporters of Tony’s cause to insist that he come up with a list of verifiable sources with links to them, available to anyone who asks. With enough pressure, he may take the time to do so.
About a week ago, I asked fellow Anorakians on this forum to each choose one item and try to find source(s) for proving the claim. I chose the urine test claim and did try to find an original source and was unsuccessful. No one else took me up on the challenge to spend time doing so, surprisingly enough, to me.

Exactly. I emailed Sky news in disgust..they have it as breaking, yet a nine year old is missing in Yorkshire. Thats breaking, and they waiting until today to broadcast it…..the mccanns were on the news two hours after the alledged abduction…… tsk tsk.

I warned him too [early december]. He disappointed me by repeating rumours and gossip of [other] forums, without any investigation imo. Never could provide a link. As an educated person and former lawyer he should have known better imo. He’s got his own agenda. I think that’s why he broke up with Anorak.

Hello all, been a few days.
Just got on my high horse with fecking sky online news. They have BREAKING news about the “sighting” (snigger) in France of Madeleine, and on the UK news page, a nine year old is missing in North Yorkshire.
Which one should really be breaking news….hmmmmm..wonder how many people have driven past this new missing child but were not aware of her plight, thanks to Sky making yesterdays news (literally) breaking?

Brown wants us to cut the amount of petrol we use……
The best way to stop using so much petrol is to deport 3 million illegal immigrants!
That would be 3 million less people using our petrol. The price of petrol would come down…..
Bring our troops home from Iraq to guard the Channel….
When they catch an illegal immigrant crossing the Channel, hand him a canteen, rifle and some ammo and ship him to Iraq ….
Tell him if he wants to come to Britain then he must serve a tour in the military….
Give him a soldier’s pay while he’s there and tax him on it…..
After his tour, he will be allowed to become a citizen since he defended this country…..
He will also be registered to be taxed and be a legal resident….. .
This option will probably deter illegal immigration and provide a solution for the troops in Iraq and the aliens trying to make a better life for themselves.. …..
If they refuse to serve, ship them to Iraq anyway, without the canteen, rifle or ammo…..
